Will never go here again. Everything was fine until they pulled me into a room with a finance girl Named Jade. They wouldn't clean my teeth I spent 3 hours there for them to tell me I supposedly have gum Disease. Keep in mind I've been to 2 other dentists this year that told me none of this!! They wanted me to pay over 2000$ with a 27% interest rate. I said I came in here for standard cleaning that my insurance covers they refused to clean my teeth, they said I needed a whole operation. Made an appointment with a dentist here a couple of weeks ago to check out a tooth that has been bothering me for months. I arrived at my appointment for the scheduled time and was taken back for bite wing x-rays of that area. Then was taken to a room to wait on a dentist to come see me to evaluate my issue. Needless to say, he never showed up to my room and having chronic fatigue syndrome, I was falling asleep waiting and almost fell out of the chair to the floor. It had been more than 45 minutes by now waiting in the room. I got up and sat in the "green room" where it would be safer to sit in the chairs there. Now it's past an hour of waiting, no patients in the office that I saw looking into the rooms as I started my way out of the building. This happened to me last time I came here as well. After I was done with my cleaning, I asked about pricing for a bridge and implant. They told me to wait in the "green room" and they would bring the quote to me. Others were in there stating they were waiting over 30 minutes already and they did not come back to them with their answers, either. After waiting 1.5 hours, I left very angry as these people don't seem to respect their customers time and to treat us that way, is "bad business" and I don't want anything more to do with them. I feel they upcharge every service and do things that are not necessarily needed like "deep cleaning" which is hundreds of dollars more, and then they say once you have it done, you "MUST" have it done "EVERY" time afterwards. The cost of dental here have made my wallet empty. I will take my business elsewhere and advise you who are reading this, consider this heavily before you do business yourself with this enterprise! read more

I had to go here because my dentist was closed and it was a Saturday - I paid $190 and the dentist gave me a script for amoxicillin because I had an abscess I told him that it wouldn't be strong enough - he was very rude and would do nothing else for me- I was in excruciating pain - the next morning my face was swollen 2x its normal size and I couldn't swallow- I went to the emergency room were they treated me with respect and kindness and gave me very strong antibiotics. I had to have a tooth extracted immediately I called four other dentist office, and no one would help me but Aspen did! The care I got from when I showed up to the time I left was exceptional. If I could leave 15 stars I would. I would highly recommend the status status.. I think the other reviews that were left we're just a bunch of impatient idiots. The same people they make an appointment for oil change and her mad because it took two minutes longer than it was supposed to life happens get over it. Also, for those of you who all left one star reviews want to go learn patience because these doctors truly care about their patients that come in to do business with them. If I ran a business and had those kinds of people coming in, I wouldn't want them to come to my dentist office. As far as I know, they don't have drive-through dentist office yet but in the event, if they ever came up with it, you 1 star people that's the place to go. again, I was very happy with the experience I received, and I look forward to being there again soon. Horribly ran business, my appointment was at 11am, on a Friday. They close at 1pm on Fridays, this was my first time into an Aspen Dental...and last. I waited over an hour with no updates from the receptionist. I went back, to take X-rays, and either the mouth piece was set up wrong or the tech was inexperienced, but it hurt terribly and took over 30 minutes. Next, the room wasn't not clean or ready, I had to wait in the green room even before I could go into a room to be seen. The hygienist came in, measured my gum line, then left the room. Another "Dr." came in and went over my X-rays for a bit. I had to ask, when am I getting my teeth cleaned? The answer was, "Well we aren't going to be able to do that today we close at 1pm today. So I was sent into the green room again, told to wait here for the office manager. Fast forward to 2 minutes before close, 45 minutes later. I decide to get up and walk to the front. I see the receptionist and ask if I should leave because it's almost closing time. She said no, let me check with the office manager. He finally came out of hiding, and I asked him why didn't the hygienist see me today, he left 30 minutes ago and knew he had a client to see. He could not answer the question, just stared at his computer screen. He didn't know how to read my charts, and had to ask me for confirmation of what the treatment plan was. I told him I would not be rescheduling, and to send me my medical records. Please save yourself half a day for nothing, medical fraud, and insurance billing errors. By far the worst dental experience. This company charges for work that other dentists have done for free. For example, I have been to a dentist in North Carolina and Maryland. The dentists I have visited in those States do not charge for cleaning my mouthguard. Aspen wanted to charge $75. My sister is a dental hygienist in Colorado, and she says at their practice, they routinely clean mouth guards and retainers at no cost. Aspen wanted to charge me $30.00 for a pre-cancer screen. I've had the same screening in North Carolina, Maryland, and Nevada at no extra cost. My dental hygienist sister in CO said pre-screening for cancer is built into the regular cleaning cost. Speaking of cleaning. I didn't get one. The dental hygienist was awful! He poked around with that sharp-pointy instrument. Claiming I had deep pockets indicative of gum disease and that without "special" treatment, I would eventually start losing my teeth. He claimed all the bleeding was proof. BS! He caused the bleeding when he stabbed around in my mouth, which was quite painful. I have NEVER had bleeding like that, and I just had a cleaning less than 12 months ago. Then the dentist comes in. He reinforced the hygenist report, but he was gentle in his approach. He is very likable and believable. Later, I realized they were using the bad cop/good cop approach with me. Finally, the dental assistant returned and received my spit towel. I asked her if someone was going to clean my teeth, and she said the lady would talk to me about it. WHAT?! Every time I've been to the dentist in the past, they just cleaned my teeth; no discussion is needed. That's the reason I am there. I am escorted to another area where a woman tries to sell me a "special" cleaning that costs $3000! It also requires maintenance every 4 months; I am positive there is a cost for that too. When I exclaimed I was not prepared to spend $3000 that day, she had 2 financing options, of course. Both brought the cost down to around $1000. The first was a 0% interest if I paid it off in about 18 months. The other gave me 48 months but there was 17% interest!! I felt like I was attending a timeshare workshop. I couldn't get out of there quick enough. What a money racket. I feel sorry for people who don't realize they're being duped. Never again will I go to an Aspen Dental clinic. Read the reviews people! Save your time and headache! I've never left a review in my life but, after my experience here, I wish I could leave negative stars! To keep it very short and sweet... I called for a same day cleaning and they said sure, no worries and my insurance is accepted. I get two free cleanings a year through my insurance. I used to go get them done all the time back in KC. I show up, they do they're exams and whatever else, now I think I'm waiting for a cleaning and instead I'm waiting to speak with the billing manager. He tells me for the cleaning it'll cost $1200. Reasoning is I need a "deep cleaning" which is more, and they wanted to shoot an antibiotic into my gums. I've had many cleanings in the past and I have 3 teeth on the bottom that they've always scrapped the plaque off of when cleaning my teeth. I refuse and say I'll just do my normal cleaning per usual that the insurance covers. They proceed to tell me now they can't do a normal cleaning because it would be "fraud" yes... they told me it would be fraud on them to do a normal cleaning because I need a deep cleaning. Guys, I've been to dentist my whole life back home and never had one issue... please save your time and just go somewhere that doesn't already have a 2 star review. I spent 2 hours here and left work early for literally nothing. They mislead you, and then are dishonest when you try to confront the situation. I'm not going to get into the legality of the dishonesty but, he claimed for me to call my insurance with a 'specific code' and prove they won't cover it. No kidding... I never challenged the absurd charge for a "deep cleaning" but only how now all of sudden they can't do the normal cleaning. Look... I was lied to from the second I made the call to book the appointment and imo that's not how you run a business. Getting teeth done here was the worst decision I made. I was supposed to get my dentures done, but my dentures were horrible!!! They did not sit right since after extracting my tooth, they decided to put a permanent denture on my 2 week unhealed tooth. After healing few months I went back telling them, I was not satisfied. They told me I have to start over again and pay. They didn't want to fix my dentures that they have made, they move all over the place. I couldn't use them so I had to wear my old ones that were somewhat broken the at least chew my food. I've gotten dentures done before nothing compared to what they do. This place is a joke. My insurance covered for the dentures and now I can't use my dentures. What happened with customer service nowadays. Waste of time and money! After explaining all of this to the staff she said there's nothing they can do. The staff there is right out of school. No knowledge whatsoever. If you want to be a guinea pig... go there, that should be their slogan. I would suggest going to a family owned business. read more

Very dishonest.I am 91 years old and usually get my teeth cleaned every year. I went in based on my Humana insurance that Aspen was in the network. So I got complete x-ray and then hygienist asked me if it was o k to check my mouth for cancer and said it would be $30. I agreed then she checked my teeth pockets and stated I had 7 deep pockets. So she proceeded to inject some kind of antibiotic in each. She did not tell me it would be $87.00 for EACH tooth. If she did I definitely would have refused. Then she proceeds to clean my teeth. 3 hrs after I finally was invited by the manager to go to her office and she said I owed $ 985.00 . So I paid in protest of such a high bill. Well I came home and called my insurance and they told me that they didn't cover that $ 87.00! Charge . That's when I found out about the ridiculous charge per tooth. I Just moved to the area and went to Aspen Dental for an annual check up and cleaning. I sat in the chair for 45 minutes waiting for dentist. All good so far with check up but hygienist probed 336 areas around teeth and found 1 deep pocket. I was quoted $991 to treat any low areas. I was also told there would be no charge for initial exam. They charged $271. After insurance I now owe $50 and for nothing. I won't be going back. read more

Warning!!!! Warning!!!! Warning!!!! Went to Aspen to have an implant put in. The dentist did do a nice job and his assistant was wonderful through the process. I have a huge issue with the Office Staff. They quoted me one price for all the dental work I needed. I was told that this is everything. I agreed to treatment May 2021 and paid my responsibly in full in Dec 2021. That is what I thought.... since I already paid what I was quoted for. After having the implant placed & waiting six months for healing to be completed I was scheduled for the tooth to be placed. Appointment card stated I owed another 2,600. Questioned office back and forth with emails trying to get issued resolved. I WAS TOLD THE QUOTE DID INCLUDE A TOOTH. One would think if you are having an implant on a front tooth your quote would have the tooth. It is like buying a new car and going to drive it off the lot and the salesman says ooh I didn't know you wanted tires with the car. I am still trying to get them to response to my insurance company a simple question of when was the original cap place in tooth. My insurance is still pending waiting on an answer. They charged me the additional $2,600. I emailed the office 2 twice and called to see where they are with the insurance and discussing how this is going to be handled. As you can see I am tired of being nice. I feel as though I was scammed. I was told their moto is they treat you like family. I have never felt so ripped off in my life. Warning!! Do not go to Aspen Dental on Kings Highway. What a rip-off. My husband and I went to have our teeth cleaned today. They said I had 3 teeth that needed antibiotic treatments because of bone loss after telling me my teeth looked very good. The price was $900. I refused and they wouldn't clean my teeth. I have insurance for cleaning and x-rays but not the treatment. They don't get enough from the insurance so they say you need treatments that you don't. Same happened to my husband. His treatments were going to be $600. So $1500 to get our teeth cleaned. No way. RIP-OFF. I have never had any gum problems in my life. read more
