Candidate #1 was out of the office for 2 weeks at a conference, candidate #2 thought that waiting for 2 1/2 weeks for an "Emergency Visit" (his words, not mine) was reasonable. Candidate #3, Kathie Allen, listened to my dilemma and graciously agreed to see me right away. I found her, and her assistant, to be professional, knowledgeable, friendly and caring. She did a full assessment, with X-rays, and removed my molar with minor discomfort (NO pain). Thanks to both of them, I will be sleeping soundly tonight for the first time in over a week. The office is always willing to work with you if you are forthcoming with any concerns or fears you may have. I recommended them to all of my family and now they are going to visit real soon.

My extraction was just unreal - honestly, I did not even realize she had pulled the tooth, which was a second molar on the top. She gave me novocaine because she didn't anticipate any issues and explained with general anesthesia it would cost a lot more. I'm grateful for her honesty. On top of the painless extraction I had minimal bleeding (I mean, I did not even need any gauze beyond the piece they had put in my mouth after the extraction!). I also had four implants done by Dr. Overbeck with little to no discomfort AT ALL and again, minimal bleeding beyond the surgical procedure. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking oral surgery treatment. There is another female oral surgeon in this county who is barbaric, by the way. I won't post her name here, but trust me -- stick with Dr. Overbeck!!
