Dr Scott is among the best . She was very considerate . Most of the negative responses against her have to do with individuals wanting something more for pain. Florida and other places are not so easy to prescribe painkillers . Especially opioids. When I had an extraction , she asked me if I thought I might need them . I told her no. She has done some very difficult extractions for me . Because I have sent her patients. And with her expertise and care they were done without a problem. read more

I have to say in the last few years of her practice she didn't give a crap about the services she rendered. Thankfully she has retired. I wanted to get implants and arranged a complete extraction. I was in and out in extreme pain in only 35 mins. How do you extract 28 teeth in 35 mins? The pain medication was wearing off before I even left the office. To boot for the next two years large pieces of my teeth started popping out. I believe that she didn't pull my teeth but that she broke them off at the surface. I have know Dr. Scott for many years--only as a patient. She was wonderful when I was young, and is more so 30 years later. Her staff is loyal, caring and understanding. They explain every step of your procedure and are always aware of your comfort. Yup, even a warm blanket when needed. Dr. Scott does not take short cuts. She will not care for your teeth in the cheapest manner possible. Dr Scott will explain the advantages/disadvantages in detail before you make a choice. If you are looking for someone to rip out your teeth and replace them the next day, look somewhere else. Her patient care and concern go far deeper than that. I had to wait many weeks after an implant for her to release me to my dentist to replace the tooth. Believe it or not, both me and social media managed to survive the 'OMG missing tooth' factor. After research, I found this is the very best approach for long term happiness. I beg you please....if you are considering having your teeth pulled and dentures put in within a few days, please, please, please get a second opinion. From anyone. Any reputable dentist. It is truly not the way to go for many. You can pre-pay for surgery for a year rather than go cheap in a month. Dr. Scott has the experience of thousands of patients behind her (a nice way of saying she's as old as I). We all know going to a regular dentist isn't the best place to be, but going to a dental surgeon is even more stressful. You will find yourself at ease with herself and her staff. Dr. Scott made my wife cry! But please let me tell you why. Our recently adopted son has been extremely neglected in many ways, including failure by previous caregivers to get him the proper dental care which resulted in a severe issue. After multiple calls and visits to dentists, hospitals, and clinics who did very little and some refused to care for him we found Dr Scott. She saved him! Our family has gone to Dr. Scott for years. We were referred here recently by another dentist. Booked an appointment for weeks out due to 1 missed appointment from being admitted Into the hospital to have emergency cancer surgery. After getting out of the hospital we called weekly to see if they had any cancellations because the tooth pain was becoming unbearable and we needed this tooth taken care of before cancer treatment start (radiation/ chemo). Had to be seen by another doctor asap due to not being able to eat for a week. Referred back to Dr. Scott by the dentist and his office called her personally. We were standing there hearing the conversation. Her staff told this office they would speak to her and get back to us (the patient). They gave her staff our cell phone#. Hours passed, no call. We called her office again to make sure they had our correct cell #. We were assured they would get back to us. That was more than 24 hrs ago and we have yet to get a returned call from them. Very negligent with patient care. As a result we have found an amazing oral surgeon that we highly recommend. As a new patient this surgeon was able to get us in the office ASAP. He went out of his way to make sure he took great care of us, took his time with us explaining everything and has called several times since then to check up and make sure his patient is okay. read more

Decent enough oral surgeon but horrible people skills. Rude and demeaning. I had an issue with one of my dental implants the day before I was going to the dentist to complete the procedure and did not know if that would precipitate me canceling the appointment. I called both Dr. Scott and the dentist but they were both at lunch. Knowing sometimes the doctor/dentist wants to see you and that once I picked up my dog, I would not be able to come back, I stopped at Dr. Scott's office. I figured they would tell me I would have to come back or not to worry about it or at least let me know whether to cancel my dental appointment. I walked up to the receptionist and Dr. Scott was standing near the open window. The lady asked my name and before I even responded Dr. Scott told her and started yelling at me saying she hadn't looked at my chart yet but this was my fault and she hadn't seen me since 2016 (not true. That was my first implant not the onee giving me a problem). I explained I was not blaming her and I only wanted to find out how I should proceed with my dental appointment. She continued to berate me through the open window in front of the office and finished wIth "I can't see you now. I have patients. My office will call you tomorrow" as she walked away. I said to the receptionist all I had wanted to know was should I cancel my dental appointment. I think she took pity on me because she told me since there was no bleeding or pain I probably only lost the cap and the dentist would let me know if I had to do anything else. I would NEVER go back to Dr. Scott nor will I ever recommend her. read more
