This leaves the patient to pick up the balance of what the insurance won't cover. Now that my husband and I are retired and will be living on a fixed income, we thought it best to switch to a "provider' dentist who accepts the payment the insurance company allows. As I said, love the practice, but can no longer afford to pay for services that are fully covered somewhere else. I give the Rawlinsons four stars for this reason.

Never having this procedure before, I was totally not prepared for the shock of the intense burning feeling that shot up the side of my face when they administered the novacaine. It hurt and scared the heck out of me - I have to say I was shaking uncontrollably after that and still can't believe that happened without warning. I came to understand why they have to do that but I would have liked to have been given a warning before hand. Once the novacaine had numbed me, the rest of the procedure was totally pain free for which I will always be grateful.

What I thought was sensitivity from grinding my teeth, turned out to be me grinding my teeth down to nothing and needing a root canal (which I didn't know during the basic 'new patient' exam). Actually, no one knew, since I didn't have any pain. It was about a week after, I woke up a Friday night with severe pain radiating through my mouth. Me being me, I didn't check to see if they were open weekends, (which Saturdays, they are). So, I suffered through until Monday morning and called the minute they opened. Woman I spoke to could tell I was in pain and asked if I could show in 1hr. I arrived, Dr. Kim poked around and determined I needed a root canal on one tooth. Unfortunately, here is why I took off one star. They have an endodontist at the location but, not all the time. So, the next available appt to get an assessment, (just assessment, not work done) was two weeks from then. So, I had to find another place to get my root canal done asap. But, the fact they fit me in so insanely fast was just pure awesomeness. Plus, I got the root canal done at another establishment but, the permanent filling and crown was done by Dr. Kim and Aisha. Both so patient, sweet, funny and gentle. Always telling me what they're doing and checking to see if I'm okay. Clean, welcoming establishment and great staff all around. They're all so nice to each other! So, unless you're looking for a last minute root canal, I highly recommend Gentle Dental Seekonk.

No one really likes going to the dentist. It had been over a year for me because I found the last…read moredental office to be rather cold regarding patient attendance. So it was time for me to go back because I knew I needed a dental cleaning. I asked a coworker who she went to and she recommended Dr. Matrullo. I booked an appointment and I was pleasantly surprised that they are literally 1 mile from my home. Walking into the office I found it very visually beautiful. Upon check-in I did the necessary paperwork and after that I was greeted by a wonderful hygienist named Tara. She took X-rays and then started to gently scrape my teeth. She always asked if I felt any pai, which I didn't. Once the cleaning was done, the younger son, Dr. Matrullo came in to asses my fillings to make sure they were all intact. He asked if I had any concerns and I said yes, I don't like the overcrowding of my teeth since I had braces years ago. He recommended an orthodontist who specializes in Invisalign. Overall this is by far the most wonderful experience I've ever endured regarding dentistry. The customer service is Top Notch, the dentist was very knowledgeable and kind. This is my new dentist going forward. Ask for Tara to clean your teeth, she's Amaaazing!
