Contact multiple Rigsby Group clients; call subcontractors for information on construction quality, payment history, working and interpersonal relationships; finally research the history of any customer who filed any kind of complaint. What was the level of construction drawing completion at the start of the project. If they were incomplete, could that have created project problems? Have all the contractors/subcontractors been paid for all work performed when the client was responsible to pay? Have other contractors/subcontractors been fired by the client? Has the client filed or threatened complaints or lawsuits against other contractors or subcontractors? if the answer to any of these questions seems wrong might these be unreasonable clients that no contractor could satisfy? That space we made the decision to use stamped concrete and Brew City Builders had a trusted vendor (J J Enterprises) that would work together and put forward one complete quote for all of it. Kaerek Homes is the absolute worst company I've had the misfortune to work with! Jordan Kaerek advised that the lot was open and promised that he would hold onto the property while we spoke about a home build. This occurred on a Monday and I met with him to hammer out the particulars that Thursday. We were still in mid-negotiation when I received an email from him the next day that the lot was now sold and under contract. Kaerek never informed me that someone else was looking into the lot and never offered a right of first refusal to me. They lied to my face and completely broke their promise. I tried discussing the matter with Jordan on the phone and all he did was interrupt and talk over me. At the time I met with Jordan, the company was having a 65th anniversary party at their facility and he was more interested in getting to their barbeque than working on my home build. After two years of endless searching, my wife and I finally located the lot of our dreams and were crushed by this miserable company!
