Came in around 11AM. Seated right away and the setting and decor is good. Waitress was good and helpful, only downside is we never got any refills the whole hour+ we were there. Got our drinks, ordered food. Took about 10-15 minutes to receive it. Burger was great, no complaints. Good juice, good flavor, good size, wish there was more bacon though. 8.5/10. Onion rings tasted great, actual onion on the inside and a nice crunch from the breading. BUT, I feel like the portion size should be better. 8/10. Chicken tenders were good as well, a different type of breading than usual but it mixed well. Not dry, still juicy. Again, portion size was small. 8/10. If I could leave a zero star, I would. The food was so bland and the jalapeno poppers were cold in the middle. Even if they weren't cold, the cheese was a toxic orange color and tasted pretty artificial. My boyfriend's food was also bland and a waste of money.The menu consists of Mexican food and burgers. The staff was really friendly and the service was excellent. The fries are a unique, thick swirl cut. The hamburgers are fresh, handmade patties. The tacos were tasty. The bean burritos were a tad watery but overall good. The bathroom needs some repairs however it did seem clean. This was once my favorite place to get take out. However, in the last year or so the prices have gone up and the serving sizes have decreased. I understand the need to raise prices but the quality shouldn't change. Neither the burgers or Mexican food is the same. Several times I thought it was just not a good day. But yesterday I got a fajita plate - the rice was dry, the beans hard, the only thing edible was the chicken and it was way overcooked. The worst part is spending more for terrible food. read more

Menu states to add tater tots or onion rings the cost an additional 1.89, the bill reflected 2.10 and 3.69 respectively, When I inquired the waitress staff said the menus are old, they have been asking for new ones, and the prices had changed. Easy to correct this with a sticker showing current price, but wait staff said they had been asking owners to fix but they just don't come to the store so whatever. Terrible and nasty manager the egg was overcooked and the burger was cold. Apparently they don't know what over easy is. When asked if everything was ok I said no only to have the manager come over and tell me I ate the whole thing ummm no I didn't. Never offered to remake it of accommodated me with something else. She was nasty and made excuses for the crappy food. Said nothing else and sent the bill with the burger still on it! When I told her I'm not paying for the burger I will pay for the onion rings she said she was going to call the police!!! Haaaa I told her call them I'll wait here! After reading some of the reviews I was torn but also not a lot of options out here so I said to hell with it! I wasn't disappointed place was nice and clean. Server was friendly and fast. I ordered the bacon double cheeseburger basket extra cheese and it was huge, the bun was just a vessel not like most places where it's 60-70 % of the food. Flavors were spot on and great smash burger and the crinkle cut fries were pretty good as well. If you are for fast , fresh , cafe n dinner style burgers this is your place!!! Omg!!!!!! The burger is soooo delicious. I got the double bacon cheese burger with jalapeños wrapped in lettuce and a side of tater tots. The burger was so juicy and well seasoned. They have an amazing green sauce that they make that's spicy . The tater tots were cooked perfectly. They were soft on the inside and perfectly crispy on the outside. This place is a local favorite and I see why. The place doesn't look like much, it's an old car hop but if you are in town definitely worth stopping and eating here. read more

My wife and I and her sister had a yard sale in the CED parking lot Saturday, 10-23 and this place is just a few blocks up the road, so my wife and her friend went there to get us some lunch. I got the cheeseburger with mustard, slaw, chili and onions. I forgot outside of Barbeque King here in Lincolnton instead of red slaw, slaw means the green, mayo based slaw which I do not like. The cheeseburger its self was Ok but nothing to write home about. Wife said the same thing, her cheeseburger was just Ok, nothing special. Fries were standard crinkle cut with some type of seasoning and were not very crispy. I also got half and half tea but it was still so super sweet it would have put you in a diabetic coma! I could not drink it and had to pour it out. It tasted like 95% sugar water and 5% tea. YUCK! With drinks, tax and tip we were a few cents from $20. I'm highly disappointed. Food was ok, when it actually came out right. Ordered a simple burger with your normal toppings. M/K/M/L/P/O, and I received a plain bacon cheeseburger. Nothing I asked for came. Had to send it back. Came out originally cold on the bottom, but I got over it. The tots were really good. My father in law never even got his food, and we had to order it a second time cause the waitress was lazy and didn't write it down. She never came back. Another waitress had to tell her we were ready for the check, and she was rude enough to stand there and wait while the check was getting signed, basically pressuring us for a tip she absolutely did not deserve. But thank you to the 2 other waitresses that helped us out. Sadly will not be returning any time soon. read more

Great food at a great price! Very friendly staff. I'm most impressed with how clean the chefs keep the kitchen while cooking. If you watch them for a few minutes they are consistently wiping the counters or scraping down the grill.
