I would give a zero rating if that was possible. I have been a patient in DFW. I am in another location for about a month. Unfortunately the Austin office has different protocols than DFW. I am now required to bring an epi pen (that I never had before) before I receive an injection. I was refused an injection with no notice. While they mention consent forms, I did not sign for the Austin office. They wasted my time and imposed new restrictions with no notice. BEWARE! This Corporation does not practice good medicine. They are a corporate company that is hustling allergy tests and drops. This place is another medical Mill, they will make you pay up front and then try to get you to commit to programs that they keep charging you for a very long time. They said that they excepted my insurance then when I got there they said my insurance wouldn't cover any procedures ... Very strange because I literally have the most expensive policy that you can get through blue cross blue shield and it was at the end of the year so I know that our deductible was mostly met. That made me question their practice immediately. They did the allergy skin test on me and measured the size of my hives. I paid them almost $400 at the desk then they billed me another $418.40 2 months later. I've attached a copy of my bill just look at everything they are charging for with an initial visit , lol! They even billed for some "outpatiant thing" , I dont even know what that would be. I only saw them 1 time. On top of all that already questionable billing practice , check this out: I never made another appointment, In fact I said that I wouldn't make another appointment 1 month away because my work schedule changes frequently but I somehow "missed" an appointment that I never made and they charged me $50 more! Do yourself a favor and PLEASE see your Doctor to learn about better ways to determine your allergies and the processes and treatments available to you before you make an appointment with this company. BE CAREFUL OF EXACT IMMUNOPLASTY. I had 2 rounds of EXACT immunoplasty - where they give you 3 high-dose shots of your allergens instead of the 5 years of allergy shots. My allergens are grass and ragweed. My allergy season has just begun in earnest, and the EXACT immunoplasty has NOT helped in the slightest. I am taking just as much allergy medication, and having just as horrible of an allergy season, as ever before. I say to be careful of this procedure, because it cost me nearly $3,000 and it has NOT HELPED AT ALL. They do tell you up front that studies indicate that it's effective for 88% of the people that take it. So, I'm giving 3 stars and simply warning you to be careful, because perhaps I'm in the 12%. I would simply be very, very wary of spending that much money for a procedure that has such a large chance of not working in the slightest. Pros: Aspire itself was a good experience. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. So, I don't want to hate on the staff and overall experience at Aspire by any means. I started going to Aspire 3 years ago and was started doing the drops for my allergies. Then when it came time to get my refills their pharmacy was backlogged and delivered the medicine more than a month late. I went into the office to switch my treatment after a year to the 3 shots and done option and did my 3 rounds and didn't notice any difference. So then they offered to do another round of treatment and on my third shot I was in the exam room for over an hour waiting after being brought back 15 minutes after my start time. I was naked in an uncomfortable gown without knowing when my appointment was going to actually take place and decided to leave. They could have easily communicated with me that they were running behind or there was an issue because I walked passed several nurses in the hallway playing on their phone. They called my about 30 minutes after I left to see where I was to go ahead and do my shot and told me they had been running behind. So had I stayed my appointment would have commenced 1 hour and 45 minutes after the start time without any communication. read more

Editing to add: Allergy blood tests are accepted everywhere and cost $30 out-of-pocket. You can also get skin prick tests for ~$60 in-network. Don't get an allergy test from these scammers. Also check out https://www.fairhealthconsumer.org/ to get a fair estimate on what your billing codes should cost. PLEASE do not go here for allergy tests. They are extortion specialists and their tests and results are not accepted by any other allergy doctors in the area. I only went in here because all other allergy doctors in the region were booked up (thanks, Austin) and they had an opening. After reading the reviews , I triple and quadruple checked the billing codes to make sure I won't be extorted (I said no to a number of "routine" exams that my provider said would cost $500 out-of-pocket). I also checked and asked that I /only/ be billed for the codes that my provider said would cost ~$100 out-of-pocket. Well, guess what: they did 2 tests on me for no reason (the second one after I had taken an anti-histamine!!!), while assuring me that I wouldn't be billed for any additional procedures. Oh, and as others have mentioned you won't see a doctor, just a physician's assistant. Well, after a month, I receive a bill for $700 out-of-pocket for what should be a routine allergy test not more than $100 typically. They advertised something called the VIVAER PROCEDURE that blunts an over active nerve in the nose that sometimes goes haywire with mucus production. Waited half an hour and then was asked a few generic questions by an "allergist". He didn't know anything about the procedure. He then shined a skinny flashlight up each nostril, four seconds total, and billed me 300 dollars for that alone. $200 more for advice (try some Flonase) Great! Thanks a lot. This is a clown show. Update: I was contacted by someone from Aspire who was extremely apologetic and kind. They confirmed that indeed the price that I was expected to pay at my appointment was not correct (by nearly $400). They offered to reschedule me, but at this time I did not reschedule. They were even kind enough to provide me with their cell phone number should I change my mind. I have changed my review from 1 star to 3, only because the outreach from someone who actually seemed to care. I hope for future patients that changes are made because it is not right what happened to me, and not everyone will advocate for themselves the way I did. Thank you again for reaching out. Original review: I was referred to Aspire Allergy & Sinus by my PCP. I stopped taking my allergy medication a week ahead of my scheduled appointment to ensure that it did not interfere with the testing. I completed everything on the patient portal as instructed, and then waited for my appointment. I arrived early as instructed and was informed that the cost for the visit would be nearly $500. When you are expecting a $20 co-pay this is a punch in the gut. I was told the only way to be seen was to pay the amount due. I worked in healthcare for nearly 15 years, and part of that time was in a physicians office where I regularly handled billing. I knew the amount they wanted to charge me was not an official number, but an estimate given to them by my insurance company. They will not know for sure how much the insurance will pay until they actually bill the insurance, and that cannot be done until after the visit. I was not prepared to pay the nearly $500 today, so I was not seen. The woman at the front desk said she was sorry that nobody notified me. Her "I'm sorry" did not get me the answers I have been looking for, it did not get me seen, and it did not make up for the fact that I was extremely inconvenienced. I feel that this is completely unacceptable that I was not notified before I discontinued all allergy medication, took time off of work, and drove across town to be seen. Dr Raja took me thru the process of having a sinus ballon surgery. He was very patient as I asked all my questions. I decided to have the surgery. While it was uncomfortable, it was a quick process. I had instant relief as I could breathe thru my nose. With most of the small bones gone, the breathing path was very open. It took about a week for me to get to a point where had minimal congestion Dr Raja's bedside manner was relaxed and I never felt rushed. Long time customer/patient. Their exact allergy shots *work* and they do repeat the cycle without cost if your improvement isn't up to their standards (which were higher than my own standards by a long shot ... I was happy to be able to open my eyes between wracking sneezes on high-pollen days). A second round of different allergens is offered at a substantially lower cost should you want to add on. The doctors are lovely. Dr Overstreet is probably the best/least painful injector if you're worried about needles. Most of the nurses and support staff are also amazing. There's been one staff pop up here and there that seems a bit ... eager to cause distress? It's an odd vibe. Misreading a chart, saying the treatment may not be possible for this or that reason, etc. It's the same person and she seems to enjoy eliciting the emotional response to bad news, which is odd. I'd still give 5 stars though since every place has one tough personality and there are so many good listeners here that it's easily resolved by asking anyone else around for clarification. The missing star is because if you need any follow up paperwork post-treatment, you're going to be driving back into the office. The phone number is a nightmare phone tree. The email address goes to a blank space. After a couple weeks of this, you'll drive in, talk to the gals at the desk, they'll print your stuff (or do whatever magic is needed for anything they don't have), and you'll leave with the paperwork and get an email with any extra papers within 24 hours. It's just more hassle than it should be for a detailed invoice or receipt of payment. I've gotten so much treatment here that obviously I'd recommend them to anyone who wants allergy solutions. I tried EXACT immunoplasty and it did not work for me. It was a very expensive method to try and you do not get your money back whether it works for you or not. If you are thinking of spending $2,500 on Exact Immunotherapy, do not. From one severe allergy sufferer to another I had such high hopes that this treatment would greatly reduce my allergy symptoms. However, it made it worse. After each shot, I was taking three allergy pills a day and netty pot in the morning and in the night, in addition to Flonase throughout the day. It made me sick and they provided me a steroid which did help. Four months later my same allergies exist as the same prior to getting the immunotherapy. The shots are not painful at all and I was in and out in an hour at each appointment. The biggest bummer is it does not work which is why the reason for one star. Second biggest bummer is that it cost me 2,5000. The office did say they would do another round of treatment, but I really did feel so horrible after the shots for about two weeks that I will not be doing another round. I was incredibly drowsy and it was hard to get through the work day taking three allergy pills a day. Sleeping was nonexistent. I have completed all the surveys that I had to ask for literally 5 different times. My treatment was complete by the time the surveys were sent to me. Still to this day I am filling them out weekly in hopes to show them the treatment is not where they want it to be. I did my due diligence and research prior to getting the shots but it is fairly new and not many people had posted. If I can save one person from dropping 2,500 because they are so hopeful for some relief this post is worth it. I would give the patient care 5 stars. Dr. Thompson, PA Felipe Calderon and their staff was awesome. I had a septoplasty, balloon sinuplasty and turbinate reduction and it has been life changing. I am now waking up feeling rested - i haven't felt that in 20 years. However, their billing and insurance section have been a nightmare to deal with. After giving them my insurance information, my first consult with head CT was almost $400 out of pocket - billed/charged incorrectly. My insurance should have had me pay a $100 copay, plus a $35 office visit. For the prior mentioned procedures, I was first told my out-of-pocket cost would be $2k. After going back and forth and personally doing some legwork, Texan allergy then told me the entire procedure was to be covered. So i get the procedure done and things are awesome. I head to my follow up appointment Jan 3. In addition to a follow up that consisted of PA Calderon and I talking, he did remove scabs as part of the normal follow up, or so i thought. I was then charged almost another $400. Granted, my insurance plan changed to a high deductible, but $400 is egregious. I'm curious to know what cash pricing would be. It has now been 30 days since the initial Dec 6 consult. the billing department states they still haven't even received my insurance EOB. Once again, I'm doing all the leg work and proactively emailing them my cards from last year, this year, and the EOB. Moreover, the $250-400 reimbursement I am expecting from their guffaw of my initial visit. I was told I can expect a reimbursement 30-45 days from their reevaluation. Great. 2 car payments in limbo for 2 months for their mistake. UPDATE: it is now January 17th. I was told yesterday that the initial visit Dec 6 had been incorrectly billed/charged and I should have owed nothing other than an office visit - $45. Texan Allergy called me back, I spoke with Bee, not Jessica the manager, but Bee was very polite explaining they had processed the first claim but they could not issue any reimbursement until my Jan 3rd visit had been processed. It seems rather suspect that they make the mistake, but then cannot correct their mistake because of an entirely different visit needing to be processed "because the system won't let them". My insurance site today has processed my claim from Jan3rd. My follow up appointment where the amazing PA Felipe Calderon did a post op eval and removed some scabbing from inside the nasal passage - not invasive at all, and the whole thing took about 10 minutes. Texan Allergy charged my insurance $1300 FOR THAT ONE VISIT!!!!!!!!! But lucky me, after my insurance discount, it's only a measly $596 out of pocket for a 10 minute office visit follow up. Shame on you Texan Allergy. I would recommend Texan Allergy for their clinical excellence, but I unequivocally cannot due to the blundering of their ancillary staff and egregious, usurious pricing. Do your due diligence, check your insurance, and shop around. I'm sure you'll find better. read more

This place truly changes lives. My daughter had a terrifying peanut allergy that caused us stress for 14 years. Then she successfully completed the oral immunotherapy (OIT) treatment offered by Dr. Stacy Silvers and PA Kristen Malone. Now she can freely eat peanuts and it is such a relief. The staff at Aspire are extremely calm, reassuring, and friendly. There were some scary moments because it is difficult to eat something that you have known all your life could kill you but they got us through it; the treatment process is time-consuming because of all the appointments but it is so worth it to live without all the fear. Overall I HIGHLY recommend Texan Allergy. In my review I cover nasal surgery & allergy testing. I came to Texan Allergy after I was told I should see an ENT after my 3rd sinus infection this year. This last one was extremely painful with toothache pain and I couldn't stand it anymore. I had heard about Dr. Christopher Thompson from KLBJ radio and probably could recite the commercial after hearing him so often. After calling around to a few different places, I chose Texan Allergy. Most clients there are for allergy testing (shots and drops), but I came for the surgery. I just had my surgery yesterday, balloon sinuplasty and correction of a deviated septum. Dr. Thompson is SUCH a cool doc! He has extremely positive beside manners, doesn't rush you through your appointment (both my consultation and before we went into surgery), chats with you casually and just really makes you feel comfortable. I think that's SO very important when feeling comfortable with your doctor. Surgery was quick, the anesthesiologist made me feel super comfortable as I was anxious, and the whole staff made me feel really safe! Dr. Thompson also came to check on me after the surgery to see how I was doing. A little groggy but I was still able to talk with him, which again he's just so pleasant! I'm recovering already and so looking forward to future relief. I also did get the allergy testing a few weeks ago to see how many things I'm allergic to and whether or not it made sense to get the drops or shots. That process was also really painless! It really doesn't hurt, just a tad uncomfortable if you've been considering it. Took about 2 hours total though with waiting. I turned out to be allergic to quite a bit. They don't pressure you to make a decision on the spot as they new I was having surgery. I've decided to hold off on the drops/shots until I see how I react with the nasal surgery. I went in for typical allergy testing, and asked SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE THE APPOINTMENT how much is this going to cost me? The stupid allergy people at the main office call you literally every few days to make sure your complying with pre testing rules, answer any questions, and make sure your approved with insurance. I spoke with them no less than five times. They always told me "your benefits have been reviewed, and all it will cost you is your $70 copay. Bull crap!! Now, I get an $800 bill in the mail 3 months later. No. Just no. I'm not paying it. I was purposely misled and flat out LIED too, just like all the other saps that gave poor reviews. I am writing to inform you that I received a letter indicating that you had sent a small amount due to you to collections. I have now paid this amount in full using the web site provided on the collection notice. Nevertheless, I am extremely irritated about this, as I detail below. This is the first piece of mail I received indicating that I owed any money to you at all. It's certainly possible that a piece of mail was misdelivered to a neighbor (this happens sometimes), but I would be surprised if it happened more than once. Therefore, it seems reasonable to conclude that you sent us a bill by mail only once (if at all). Like most people, I have a phone number. My phone number has not changed in more than 5 years. Although I am not always available to answer my phone, I do listen to my voice mail messages on a regular basis. I have received no voice mail messages regarding an amount due to your practice. Therefore, it seems reasonable to conclude that you never even tried to call me to collect on this amount. Like many people, I have an email address. I continue to check the email address that I used when my son was first seen at your practice. I have received no emails regarding an amount due to your practice. Therefore, it seems reasonable to conclude that you never even tried to email me to collect on this amount. I have extremely good credit and always pay my bills on time. I am upset that you were remiss in your attempts to collect on this amount, sending my bill to collection without making even the most cursory attempt to collect it from me. You have jeopardized my credit and I do not take this lightly. I will not be recommending your practice to anyone in search of an allergist. Regardless of your competency in providing allergy services, your billing department is grossly inadequate, which is unacceptable. UPDATE TO THE ORIGINAL REVIEW (6/12/19): As a follow-up, Texan Allergy & Sinus Center did get in touch with me to rectify this matter. My understanding is that my account was sent to collections in error. Although I had already paid the amount due to the collections agency, I was informed that the matter was "pulled back" from the collections agency in terms of its affect on my credit. I hope this is the case! I had another disappointment related to Texan Allergy & Sinus recently, though. We moved recently, and several months ago (well in advance of the move), I called the office to request that my son's allergy drops be sent to our new address. I was pleased with the after care Dr. Chris Thompson showed me. I was having some quite irritating, and painful after-effects from the surgery (including an artery that needed to be cauterized), and Dr. Thompson not only gave me his personal cell number to contact him, but he was responsive when I needed to contact him. I had been told my maxillary sinuses would be cleaned out, but based on a recent MRI for other reasons... turns out they weren't. But, if I'm just rating Dr. Thompson, he gets a 5/5. He's communicative and kind. He put up with a lot from me, and handled it like a compassionate professional. My original surgery was 6/2/2020, and I have been able to breathe better than as far back as I can remember. It's magical! read more

I have horrible seasonal allergies. I'm over 60 and over weight. I can tell you exactly what I'm allergic to and when to expect it to hit me. Stupid me, I heard about Texan Allergy & Sinus Center on the radio. Same old KLBJ host testimonials that they have used this company or that for years. yea, right... No, I don't need a comedy-team plumber, or ultra-honest home slab foundation repair... So I go to Texan Allergy & Sinus Center to get a "full workup". Years ago I was tested ON MY BACK and the allergist wanted me to drive to his office several times a week for shots. NOT convenient, too far too busy. I'm excited to hear (the myth) about the Texan Allergy DROPS, so I go. COMMENT: [I NOW realize the drops are basically an ineffective bait & switch to get you in the door to THEIR "cattle car clinic", as opposed to a REAL Allergist. I feel DUMB. Just like Death & Taxes... If you want relief, you can't avoid the Allergy Shots. The Shots work fairly fast, the drops are a gimmick that takes YEARS to work, even a little bit. There is a reason that Texan Allergy & Sinus Center is the ONLY PLACE to get the super-secret, non-insurance covered, more expensive Wonder Shots... THEY DON'T WORK. SPOILER: Santa, The Easter Bunny, Politicians "care" about us & "Free" Government Programs are all FAKE too...] First of all, I NEVER talk to a real doctor at TA&SC. (They probably have a lower Doctor to Patient ratio than a free AIDS clinic in Hati.) IF I'M LUCKY, I get to talk for a couple of minutes to the PA. 90% of my visit is some lower paid person who seems to be just a replaceable "worker bee". So, the "worker" starts testing me ON MY ARMS. I tell her that I have previously had a "back" test. She says "we don't do that anymore". I can see why, the "ARM Method" is probably easier, cheaper, and easily done by a "worker". It is so obviously easier because they use a frame that sticks you in 20 places at once. It takes about five minutes to do, as opposed to about 30 for my previous "back" test. They then inform me that, by gosh, "You have no allergies". I absolutely know for a fact that this is NOT TRUE. I'm not FAKING being miserable. After begging, they agree to have me go for a blood (re)test. I'm miserable, so I ask for a Steroid Shot, which I KNOW works almost immediately for me, and lasts a couple of months. "We don't do Steroid Shots" the PA says. "I'll just give you Steroid Pills". "Be sure to take all of them". At this point, NOT seeing a REAL Doctor is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT! Apparently they teach you in MEDICAL SCHOOL, that People with any sort of DIABETES should NEVER take Steroid PILLS. Shots are OK. So here I am, an overweight, over 60 male. Every REAL doctor I remember asks me first thing, "are you DIABETIC"? Well in fact, I AM Diabetic, but not bad enough to take insulin (yet). I am losing weight - over 100# in the last two years. Without knowing or thinking, I faithfully take "all" my Steroid Pills, as I recall it takes 4-5 days. The day after I start taking the pills, I feel worse. I'm thinking it's just my allergies, but I put-off taking the CPL Blood Test, for about 4-5 days because I feel like crap. I then finally take the blood test. Literally, a few hours after they are closed, the CPL People URGENTLY call me and tell me my A1C (??) is about 700 and I WILL DIE SOON if I don't go to the ER IMMEDIATELY. I have had high sugar levels before (under 300) and I KNOW how it makes me feel. THERE IS NO WAY MY SUGAR IS REALLY 700! OK, I get to the SETON NW HOSPITAL ER, they run all sorts of tests on me. First thing they ask me: "You didn't take any Steroid Pills, did you?" Proudly, I answer "Yes, ALL of them! - Just like the PA ordered!" Then I'm told NEVER take Steroid Pills if I even THINK I'm Diabetic! It's VERY BAD! So, after thousands of $$$ billed at the ER, and $$$ paid for "allergy tests", Texan Allergy & Sinus Center, finally calls me (a week longer than promised) to tell me that "Your Blood Test was NEGATIVE for ANY Allergies". No mention of my LIFE THREATENING 700 Sugar Level. IMO, this place is a "cattle car, bait & switch" operation, designed to push as many insurance holding "patients" through their doors as possible. I guess SOME People get LUCKY, and others just get sent to The Hospital. They never tell you that the Drops will not work at all for many years. More income. It took me about 2 months to recover from the Steroid Pills. I was literally in bed for several days. Missed work. Etc. IMO, Go to a REAL Allergist. I STILL SUFFER FROM SEVERE ALLERGIES. For now I will say that I have had a pretty good experience here, the staff is friendly and they are thorough with getting your information and doing the test. Most of the assistance provided is by the nurses and aides, there is one or maybe two actual physicians or physician's assistant that can write prescriptions, but I guess for basic testing you don't need much more. I went here for environmental and food allergy testing they overcharged me for the first visit by $50 my insurance company said so I need to call them and question this. In addition, they try to get you to go with the shots or drops options. I went with the drops, they seem to be doing ok for my environmental allergies but they claim you need to be on them for 3 years. I think the food allergy testing is a crock of crapola, I tested positive for all 38 allergens and they didn't offer much advice at all on how to deal with it or guidance on elimination diets, I would not ever do drops or shots for food allergies it's a scam just avoid what upsets your tummy. Overall they are nice here but I just don't think they have much knowledgeable staff on dealing with allergies besides giving you a shot. read more

Their billing is grossly in adequate be sure so know your stuff because they do not. They always overbilled my office visits. But worst part was the follow up after having Balloon Sinuplasty they kept referring me to my PCP for issues related to my sinus/allergies. I never saw the same provider for my follow ups, they changed my appointments. They don't return calls and some of their staff just plain seemed annoyed that you call. In my completely honest opinion I do NOT RECOMMEND Texan Allergy & Sinus their office staff and process are incompetent in all aspects of the business ... it seems they try to manage everything form one place and their process is the worst. I have been attending the Aspire Allergy & Sinus in Grapevine, Texas for approximately 3 years. Everything was going fine and well until, I transferred to Rockwall location. Here has been very problematic for me due to the fact that people at this office need to held accountable for failure. For the last 6 weeks they claim to need authorization from my PCP, but fail to provide who oversees this office based on credentials. Doctor, PA, Nurse??? As a result of incompentency my authorization did not got anywhere be cause Jessica and Authorization did not know who oversaw the Rockwall office for billing purposes. Duuuuuuh. How do you not know who the billing individual for you office or location is? Therefore my appoint got cancelled and my injections schedule is now off. I had to call Austin to find out information Rockwall did not know and they work there. How smart is that? I had to someone's else job to get the information and Authorization in Austin is ran by a one person office, which is just as sad. How can authorization get through when there is not a working telephone available or for at least customers. I managed to get the authorization from my PCP, but authorization told Rockwall cancel my appointment because they dropped the bomb on adding the physicians name on the referral for the insurance company. I guess a brain is not needed to work for Aspire Allergy these days. I attempted to provide a supervisor with the information and asked to be added back on the schedule and obviously his ranking would not allow him the ability to do so. I refuse to be the bottom of anybody barrel. No one wants to be accountable for their screw ups, but instead pawn it off on the patient. I will not be apart of that. Since they couldn't get it right I don't need their business. You can't alter my schedule for incompetent, unaccountable employees. My insurance can take me elsewhere. read more

I've taken the drops for 1yr now and have gotten some relief this year. I feel I need another year or two to really be allergy free from Cedar Trees. This is still an expensive process with the drops. read more

Overall the procedures with testing and shots are good here and the folks are pretty nice. However, my experiences with this company Texan Allergy in general suck. After being tested for allergies, I had the choice of weekly shots or daily drops. I went with the shots because my insurance covered them and it was more convenient. The company prefered that I pick only one location to visit which was fine by me. But then I found out that the locations were unable to be consistant with a weekly schedule. I started off at the Round Rock location.I was only able to get off early from my work to go for my shots on the same day every week. I chose Fridays to be my day off early.However, there were issues with this location being closed on Fridays here or there and then sometimes the required doctor would not be in. And apparently there must be a doctor present in case there any issues after my shots. Even though with this company I never saw a doctor. I only ever saw the PA and the MAs. I was missing my shots sometimes every other week. Which bothered me, because it affects how long your treatment will take. Treatment takes 3-5 years and I really wanted to feel my results sooner. So I switched to the Far West location. I was told that this location was better at having a doctor present and at being open reguarly. Nope. There was mix up with getting my treatment transferred and then there was a week where the doctor wasn't available, followed by another week where the doctor had to leave because another paitent of his/hers had an emergency. Basically, I've been going to the Far West location for a month and I have yet to actually get my shots. The most recent two times that I was unable to get my shots, I was offered the option to go back to the Round Rock location for my shots. In both situations, I was already in the Far West neighboorhood/location on a Friday afternoon. Going up north I35 (3pmish) and coming back south, on a Friday afternoon (4pm ish) is insane. The traffic is crazy. Anyways I opted not to drive to RR and back. Overall, I think this company must be having growing pains or something. They don't always have a doctor available. They are not always open at the same times on the same days. For a company that's only open regular business hours, they should at least keep the same weekely schedule. Also, I pretty sure the doctors they use have their own pratices on the side and are not really running this company. I'm left with the impression that the doctors are contracted individuals paid to sit the back room just in case something happens. While the PAs and MAs are the real workforce and face of this company. If you have a lot more freedom in your schedule than me, you would probably like this company. The folks are friendly enough and good at giving shots. If you have a 8-5 job, you're only able to get off at certain times, and you're going to get shots, I would say you may want to reconsider going to this company. read more

I highly recommend against going to this office. Some of the worst service I have received at a doctors office. Tried scheduling an allergy test the first time and I was told I could not complete the process due to taking a B12 vitamin the day prior to the test. Vitamin B12 is naturally found in animal products, including fish, meat, poultry, eggs, milk, and milk products. I am a vegetarian so I take this vitamin as a replacement to eating meat. It makes absolutely no sense as to why this would alter any testing since this is something everyone ingests on a daily basis. I then had to reschedule my appointment for a few weeks later. When I arrived at the office the two staff members were very friendly, however my overall experience was still poor. The front desk staff confirmed that I had already spoken to someone about payment which was not true. No one email, texted or called with this information. When discussed how much it would cost it was almost $800 out of pocket. This is something that should have been mentioned well before my appointment, especially considering I could not take ANY medications for 5 days. I recommend you have better backend administration with your clients.Speak to them before the appointment and discuss what they can actually take and what the cost will be instead of automated, robot texts and emails. read more

I have just completed my third and final shot at Aspire Allergy. I am very happy to say that following the second shot, I've had virtually no symptoms whatsoever and having completed the third one, I look forward to an allergy free outdoor lifestyle. Dr. Thompson and his staff have been wonderful. Having started before the COVID - 19 crisis and having completed it during the same, the effort that goes into the care of patients is apparent. What is particularly nice, is that in just three short months the almost painless procedure is finished. I look forward to my son's results which will follow in the summer. Thank you! read more

I came to Texan Allergy about a week ago to finally get tested. Overall the procedure was easy, and I really appreciated that everyone there explained things clearly every step of the way. On the second part of the test (upper arm), I had a relatively rare reaction that caused me to feel a little sick. But they were on top of it, they had me lie down and waited until I was definitely ok before letting me go. As I expected, I'm allergic to a lot. But I've already started on the drops, and I can tell that it's going to be easy. If my allergies improve at all, it'll have been worth it! Given how easy everything has been, I don't know why I waited this long. read more

TL; DR - Balloon sinuplasty is amazing and has improved my life immeasurably. Get the surgery! I've never been the healthiest person when it came to my sinuses but I never had allergies until I moved to Austin. Every year they got a little worse, but 3 years ago after I had my daughter they were making my life miserable. I was always sick, sinus infections, bronchitis, general viral ick, swollen eyes. I came here a little over a year ago and started taking the drops. Around February I hadn't noticed any improvements and had visited 2 different ENTs for my sinus issues. One said "you're just someone who gets sick a lot, sorry, antibiotics are just your life". The other said "well you don't seem to have any polyps so I don't know what to tell you." And when I say I was sick, I mean, SICK. Coughing all night long to the point it was triggering asthma attacks. Going days or weeks without sleep. Horrible coughing fits on all my work calls and everyone was like "good god, are you dying? You sound horrible." Nothing was working, nothing helped. My primary care doc refused to prescribe anything harder than OTC meds. "It's just a cold, you'll be fine." IT'S NOT F'ING FINE. I was at my wits end when I came in for allergy retesting and decided to switch to shots. They realized I was about to lose my marbles (and I'd decided if I couldn't get things under control we'd have to move out of state) and offered to do a CT scan. Which led to them recommending the balloon sinuplasty, along with shaving down my septum and some other thing involving a steroid I think. I dunno, I was too tired but signed up with just the hope if it could help just a tiny bit it would be worth it. The recovery suuuuuuuuucked. I think I would have bounced back from just the balloon portion quick but that septum surgery was no joke. I cried, it hurt and then suddenly... OXYGEN. I wasn't sick. I wasn't coughing. I wasn't stuffy. For the first time in my life (literally, I'm not even kidding) I could breathe. Is this how everyone else lives? OMG THIS IS AMAZING!! It's been 3 months since my surgery and it has literally changed my life. I've never been able to exercise despite my efforts to start a workout plan constantly since I'd always wind up sick a week or two later, but I've been able to run outside for the last 6 weeks. I haven't been sick since and I can sleep through the night again. My skin looks better, the dark circles under my eyes have improved and I feel like a new person. I honestly can't thank these guys enough for giving me the relief no one else has, I only wish I'd done it sooner. If you're at the end of the rope, DO IT! Also, the shots seem to be helping (or maybe it's just the surgery results) but I've only had to take an allergy pill once every week or two instead of every day. I was told by the Wellington office that they had flexible payment plans and although my insurance was going to pay $4,000 for one of the treatments, the allergy shots were not covered. The rude and unaccommodating woman in accounting/billing basically said it's her way or the highway!!! No discussion...WOW...can't imagine how much money they are losing with that level of disconnect and surly personnel. read more

I have been suffering from Allergies for years and went to Texan Allergy to get tested. The staff was great and friendly but I never actually saw a Dr. I used the drops for 1 year and didn't improve at all. I have been to 2 other allergists since and they don't think very highly of results of Texasn Allergy. I just did the allergy testing again and it turns out I suffer from sinus and asthma. I also paid a $500 bill that was unexpected on top of the allergy drops that are not covered. I would recommend a private allergy Dr before going to Texan Allergy. read more
