Even though I was a new patient the staff was very accommodating. Once I was in the room, he reviewed my scans from my previous doctors and explained to me what he was seeing in the scans. He checked me over and agreed I would be a great candidate for surgery and explained the process and recovery. He assured me I would not leak brain fluid like a previous doctor had mentioned and did not send me off with a 30 day supply of prednisone and antibiotics like my previous doctor had also done. I should be able to know every charge I'm being charged for when I leave building instead of being confused. Also why do the receptionist have to use a calculator for what I'm being charged for. That seems a little dated and should all be done on the computer. I feel frustrated every time I leave after an appointment. I've also had some issues with scheduling but that has gotten better over the years.

Just don't expect the good doctor to sugar coat anything for ya. He's a straight shooter, honest, and comes packed with a dry but funny sense of humor (if you can wrestle it out of him).

After my balloon sinuplasty, I developed significant hearing issues in my left ear immediately that I did not have before, including muffled hearing, pressure, and hearing my own voice loudly. When I returned to the office, I explained that I was in pain and having difficulty hearing. Instead of feeling heard or thoroughly evaluated, I felt dismissed. I was told there was nothing wrong with my ear, that I was "stressed" and was told I did not need to come back. As a patient, that was incredibly frustrating and discouraging. When something changes after a procedure, you expect your concerns to be taken seriously and investigated, not brushed aside. I am still dealing with these issues all day, everyday since the surgery, and have required several additional treatments elsewhere. I regret walking into that office and trusting them every day. I hope this feedback encourages the practice to listen more carefully to patients who return with post-procedure concerns.
