The office staff at Dr. Ryser's office is shady and deceitful in their billing practices. They…read morebilled me at the time of service after checking with my insurance and gave me a total amount due. I paid the amount stated at the time of service and then received a bill months later staying I was 90 days past due on an additional charge from their office! This was the first letter I had received from the office. I should not have received an additional bill as I was told the total amount due and paid at the office. The only thing listed on the bill was "balance forward" and didn't list any other information of what it was for. Proper billing would at least list what the charges are for specifically. After calling and not getting a hold of anyone I left a message and still never heard back and had to continue calling. Horrible customer service! I can also feel the gums receding in the back where the extraction was performed and I don't think they removed one side properly due to it healing oddly. I would recommend going somewhere else!!!

I love their little play area in the waiting room and so does my son. They always explain what they are doing which helps ease nerves. They have even had to pull a couple teeth due to shark teeth and one since it was super loose they just yoinked it out :) My son loves getting little toys from the staff and thinks them brushing his teeth is just neat. We will continue here for years to come.

Dentists & hygienists are friendly, kind & patient with kids. Kids like the play area and seeing the fish tank. The office is on the 2nd floor. I prefer going with my kids in mornings right at 8am as it isn't packed and not worry about waiting & running behind other appointments. However do anticipate rush hour traffic. It is much better to head north to the office on Redwood Rd during rush hours so you can easily turn right into the office park.

I was so desperate that I wanted it removed that day, but was advised to take an antibiotic first and come back when the swelling was gone. Excellent advice! The whole staff here is amazing, and you will leave feeling like you were a movie star in Malibu getting the high profile courtesy, attention and treatment. He walked me through the entire process and post-op visits, and he's a genuinely nice, easygoing person who communicates clearly and puts you at ease. His office was also very accommodating, especially considering I traveled from out of state for the surgery. This would have been a 5/5 experience, but unfortunately I ran into issues with the office handling the required paperwork for state disability benefits. Despite following up more than 15 times via email and phone and receiving multiple assurances that it would be taken care of, the paperwork was never filed, which resulted in me losing my state disability benefits (up to $1000). While the office handled my medical insurance and short-term disability insurance without issues, state disability paperwork seems to be different, and this part was not managed successfully. I feel little sorry for them because of so much paperwork they had to do for my case, and they are not used to work with different states disability benefits, but I tried my best for them providing all the neccessary information and help them to file necessary papers. From a surgical and clinical standpoint, I highly recommend Dr. Stosich. I just wish the administrative side, particularly state disability paperwork, had been handled with the same level of care. I was a bit of a special case coming from out of state, so I don't expect most patients to have issues on the administrative side.
