Plus, free VEGAN wine sampling. Let me say that we are not vegan but love to try different foods & we enjoyed everything we ordered, including the drinks. Everything was also very filling. I also noticed that they are Black-owned,which is awesome to see. At the time, they had only been open for, I wanna say, two-ish weeks so my colleague and I decided to give it a go. The staff was eager to greet us and we got a seat right away. The space itself is magnificent. The bright bursts of color caught my attention first. It's definitely a vibrant space, modern, trendy, photogenic, fun, and creative. You got to check out the bathrooms - so cool! From what I gathered, the owner helped design it himself. The service is what stood out next. Everyone was so friendly, the chef and owner came to our table to check in, which is always a nice touch. As for food, I was only in for a quick bite so I went with the kale caesar salad and a side of truffle fries. I love me a good kale caesar and that definitely hit the spot. The only con with the food was that the serving sizes were rather small for the price. I believe this spot turns into a nightlife experience in the evenings. They have a full bar and even a DJ booth. I would no doubt visit again in the evening. It's great for a date night or evening with friends. Overall, I hope they succeed and recommend you give them a try, even if you don't like vegan food.

Really a nice place to hang out and have a meal. The service has always been friendly and knowledgeable. And then the food is always great. The last time I went I tried the Goetta. It's a unique German based meat that you really don't come across outside of the Cincinnati area. You might like it, you might not. But I'd say it's worth giving a try. The whole "when in Rome" thing. Worth noting is that they are in the heart of Cincinnati and parking will be dicey. You'll either need to be in a deck or on the street if you're planning on driving. Ultimately, it's worth swinging by and checking them out. The next time I'm in Cincinnati I'll drop by again.

However, one thing that has not changed is that they were served cold. I informed the server that the potatoes were ice cold, and they apologized and promptly placed a replacement order, advising it would take about two minutes. When the new potatoes arrived, they were hot and much better. The eggs were good and served warm, but they appeared to have been sitting for a while before being brought to the table. As a solo diner, I often find that I am overlooked when staff are making rounds for water and coffee refills, and this visit was no exception. Larger tables around me received multiple refills before I was ever approached. Additionally, the table directly in front of me remained uncleared for more than 30 minutes, as shown in the photo. It appeared that the table was only cleared when new diners needed to be seated, and the dirty dishes were simply moved to another table. I am genuinely disappointed that, despite a year having passed since my last visit, it seems that little has changed.

This is the second time I am writing this review because yelp will occasionally just not post a…read morereview that was written nor save a draft. I apologize if my fury towards the time wasted shines through. Anyway, I was thrilled to see this place during research for my recent trip to Cincinnati. I think every town (every city might be more reasonable) should have a place like this. I, like some other reviewers, was surprised to see that this place is only pick up and delivery. It actually works out because you are able to peruse the menu in peace instead of the person behind the counter impatiently staring at you like a (I had to remove a word here because Yelp thought I was being "offensive" in my hypothetical scenario, use your imagination) who didn't immediately know what to order within a second of seeing the menu. There are a few picnic tables outside if you wanted to eat on location. This was our last 1/2 day before a flight later in the afternoon and had a lot of eating to do so we decided to just split the breakfast sandwich. The sandwich contains vegan sausage, seasoned tofu, vegan hollandaise sauce all in between a homemade biscuit. The sandwich was FIRE. The proteins were hearty and that hollandaise sauce was absolutely delicious. I only meant to have a bite but I couldn't stop eating it. My only criticism is that the thing was very small, much smaller than expecting for the price of over $10. I interacted briefly with someone I think is probably the owner and she was super nice. She mentioned that their biscuit cutter has gotten smaller and that they plan on getting new, larger ones. She told me this completely unprompted when I went inside looking for a trash receptacle. Thinking about it now it was as if she read my mind but upon further reflection the glass between where she was and the picnic tables outside probably wasn't sound proof lol. From our sample size, the food here is very good. I would probably order something like the burrito next time to get my money's worth.

The menu, while all vegan, is a mix of styles, and sometimes I wonder if I'm harder on vegetarian restaurants about my tastes than I am on normal ones. I'm not really into the whole fake meat thing, but they still had some interesting options. The lunch box I ended up with had biscuits, mac and cheese, and a soupy side of beans and greens. It was a little more liquid and a little less of the actual beans and greens than I'd hoped, but when you throw in a good quality vegan butter, it was tasty stuff. The truffle mac and cheese was lightly coated with something that wasn't cheese, but was delicate and nuanced enough in flavor that I was happy with it. It was pricier than the non-vegan equivalent would be, but at least it's something worth eating for those who have a hard time eating out.
