Needing a General Practitioner, we persevered in our search and are so lucky to have found a pot of gold in the form of Dr. Manoj Aswani at Arroyo Oaks Medical Group in Thousand Oaks several years ago. My husband and I feel that Dr. Aswani epitomizes "excellence" as far as a physician is concerned. He's very knowledgeable, patient, kind, a great listener, and has a wonderful way of explaining the "whats" and "whys" of any treatments that may be necessary. One of the things I especially appreciate is his way of making me feel that I'm important, and that my concerns are legitimate. My husband is in 100% agreement. Another definite plus is Dr. Aswani's nurse, Jenn. She, too, is an excellent example of what a person in the medical field should be. She's friendly, pleasant, helpful, knows exactly what she's doing and extremely efficient. There's never been a time that she hasn't returned a phone call, which is amazing, considering the patient load. They're a great team, and I/we recommend them highly. I also want to mention the front office staff, since they're the first people we see when we sign in, and they're so important. Over the years we've come to know Veronica, who always has a smile and a special greeting for us. That she is going concierge. I have now been twice and both times I have been there they have done a great job of balancing being punctual and efficient without feeling like you are being rushed in and out of the office.
