Where other contractors canceled appointments, arrived late, or were just no-shows - Mikel (out of their Hudson office) arrived on time and did a thorough assessment of the roof including taking drone footage. He sat with me and walked me through the whole process clearly, explaining all my choices in materials and didn't push any product or add-on. I did receive marginally cheaper quotes, but they did not leave me feeling like my home was in good hands in the same way that Mikel did, and I felt the extra money was likely to be worth it. Once I decided to go ahead with them, again, everything was done very professionally. I was kept informed of times and everybody showed up exactly when they said they would. I made a small change to the scope of the work in replacing additional plywood sections of the roof, and these were easily accommodated on short notice. On the day of the work, the crew showed up on time and Jurgan (the site foreman) kept everything moving with minimal disruption to us. I was working from home, and my wife and kids were in and out of the house for school and errands. Despite replacing the entire roof of the main building and two additions over approximately 9 hours, there was minimal disruption to our days. The house was protected during the work, and even with snow still on the ground, their cleanup crew constantly walked the property picking up and disposing of any debris, nails, old material etc. Ultimately the roof was replaced successfully and looks good. Every step of the job was explained to me, every question answered, and every decision explained. The team was professional, punctual and courteous throughout. A couple of weeks in and we've had snow, rain and strong winds. Everything is still perfect. I can highly recommend Mikel and Jurgan from Golden Group, Hudson.

I had seen a home sided by Tunnera, and was so impressed that I contacted them for a quote. Contacted 4 companies, got 3 estimates (one was a no show), and Tunnera was the most reasonable. Paul was kind, considerate, and a pleasure to work with, as was his entire crew. Our siding is now completed, 6 replacement windows installed, and we couldn't be happier. Next year we will be getting new roofs on our house and garage, as well as a few large picture windows replaced on our porch. For a reasonable price, we were able to get a higher quality window and door (w/sidelights) than the originals. They replaced rotted wood they discovered, and even had to contend with a huge carpenter ant colony that had settled in there! Everything was re-insulated and, to save us some money, Christian had his men carefully remove all the existing interior moldings to re-use them wherever possible. His attention to detail was very evident in the new exterior door surround he created by hand to match the window moldings. Our painter said that he's rarely seen such excellent finish carpentry. Christian's crew is very friendly and respectful and meticulous in their clean-up of the job site. If we ever need work done in the future, our one call will be to Lambert & Sons.

For the same price as one of…read morethe "window replacement" companies, we were able to get higher quality windows that weren't just popped into place, but installed the same way a builder would. Not only was all of our shoddy construction corrected, but everything was re-insulated and Christian installed beautiful new mouldings that changed the entire look of our house. It was so nice to not have to call in different people for all of the construction problems uncovered while doing our windows. Christian was able to handle it all (or call in excellent sub contractors to handle things like electrical work). We loved Christian and his crew so much that we have had them come back to do our roof, laundry room,repair and redesign our front door, gutter removal and regrading. We will have them remodel our basement and kitchen in the near future. Christian has an eye for detail and the knowledge to do things right. Not only does Christian have these skills, but so does his crew. Everyone involved in our projects was wonderful to work with. Everything was completely cleaned up at the end of the day (something I noticed another roofer in the nieghborhood didn't do) and the crew even scoured the neighbors' yards to make sure nothing blew onto their properties. I felt completely confident leaving the crew in my home if I had to run out for awhile and they were also very pleasant to have around while I was in the house. I sometimes hesitate when a friend asks for a recommendation, but not with this company. I have recommended Lambert and Sons to quite a few people, and everyone has thanked me for the wonderful "find". Half my neighborhood has now used Lambert and Sons based on the work they've seen done on my house. He is an engineer who does all his own work on his house and has an incredible eye for detail. He even called him an "artist", and this is a guy who never says ANYTHING nice. My painter (another obsessively picky individual) also commented about the high quality of Chris Lambert's work and how easy he was to work with (as we had them doing simultaneous projects). His competitiveness on price, excellent labor warranty on top of the more limited shingle warranty offered by GAF, and his many years of experience ultimately drove my decision. My roof was a bit of a pain to do work on, ~25 squares, a fairly steep pitch (as it's a home from the 1800s), and the previous roof was in complete disrepair as the previous owner just kept adding layer upon layer of shingle to repair the old roof. The roof deck underneath was original as well from the 1800s and was fairly rotted (this added an unknown cost at the end of the work, but it wasn't too bad, and still kept the amount under half of the other companies we were looking at). His team worked from 7 to about 5-6PM (during the late winter) and had the roof done in about a day and a half. So far so good with the roof work. Would definitely work with Marcos and MJT Home Improvement again.

I have asked for my money back and he is no longer responding. I am filing a suit against him now. It has been a nightmare to say the least.
