We went from strangers to her being my favorite person to visit and I look forward to my appointment every 6 weeks. She is such a ray of sunshine and positivity, and I always enjoy my time at the salon. The salon is always clean and takes safety measure during Covid seriously. She cut it dry, but didn't actually cut anything. I wish I was joking, she pulled hair out with her fingers, snapped the scissors, but not on my hair. Then said she wasn't going to wash it.... For 50$ it's included so I kindly asked her to wash it. Huge mistake. Should have just left. Only wet and washed the top cone of my head. The front pieces and around my neck weren't ever touched, product wasn't fully washed out. She proceeded to add 7-8 products to my hair while drying it, I looked like Cameron Diaz on there's something about Mary when I left. It was so oily and greasy and disgusting. I cried in the car after wasting that kind of time and money. The girl was so so nice, but worst hair experience ever. My usual hair girl was on maternity leave, so I was desperate for a cut. I told my usual hair girl about it and she informed me the salon owner tends to bully those that leave poor reviews about the salon on social media pretty hard- she showed me and I was appalled. The salon itself is very "liberal" politically with all the signage and stickers and conversation. I don't really care and respect everyone's right to their opinion and free speech- just a weird environment for a professional salon in my personal opinion. I won't be back and hopefully other girls there are much better. I think mine was new, but wow, for an hour and $60 (with tip) I was largely disappointed to say the least.

I look through each profile, kind of narrowing down what I'm looking for vs what they each seem to specialize in. I see that one stylist has her books closed so her regulars can come in, one isn't accepting clients right, one is on leave...again, no big deal. They look like a great place, I expected them to be pretty booked and I'm not in hurry to get my hair done, I'm just hoping to get in. Finally, I've got it narrowed down to one stylist, I've double checked to make sure I don't see anything about closed books/not accepting clients, it all seems to check out, and it looks like they don't use a booking site, just DM or text to book. Perfect, I send the DM and I wait. Don't hear anything for about a week and I think, well, maybe they took some time off, they're super swamped, message got lost, whatever. I'm giving full benefit off the doubt. I decide to give it another go and send a text this time. Now here we are, another week has gone by with radio silence. Look, I'm not even upset that I can't get an appointment. You don't want my business, fine, but I'd rather you tell me to scram than get nothing at all. It's just frustrating to get no response at all, especially when there's posts on social media everyday, which leads me to believe my messages are just being ignored. Rachel was my hair artist, but the whole team jumped in and helped with the color, washing my hair, etc. They took their time and talk to me on what I wanted done. Very patient and felt very comfortable. I appreciated the salon offering me a drink (tea, water, coffee, etc). I also got to meet the owner Tina Marie who was humble and down to earth. My visit was getting OMBRE BALAYAGE (color) and a haircut. Oh wow! What a great experience! I loved how my color and cut turned out! The warm tones complimented my skin tone. The cut was very chic! I purchased one of their oil products for my hair that they highly recommended. I was very satisfied that I already booked my next color appointment. I am letting my silver grow out and after a great consultation Jim went to work, adding highlights and lowlights, doing all kind of magic, and gave me a fresh cut afterwards.
