I was pretty upset and Jenny kept me calm and instructed me on how to move forward with being patient and re-growing my brows. I was scared to get my brows done again after the incident at European Wax, but boy am I glad I went to see Jenny! She has transformed my brows into a shape I didn't think they could be. I came to Jenny Simon Face on the recommendation of a close friend. I was admiring her brows and she couldn't stop talking about Jenny. She promised not only could Jenny turn my eyebrows into two, she would shape them, tint them, class them up and give them something to say. I walked into the building on Erie Ave. unsure of what to find. I opened the door to the store and felt the calm. It smelled amazing, soft music was playing, and I was welcomed by the receptionist. I waited in one of the leather chairs and looked at the small bottles of lotions, cleansers and balms they had for sale. All in a perfect line, neat and clean. The back door opened, and out walked a client with perfect brows, chatting with Jenny about family and life. Jenny introduced herself to me and welcomed me back to the small, well-lit room with a towel covered table. She studied my face and asked me to lay down. She painted the tint onto my blonde brows, promising the change would be striking. The dye is vegetable based, so I didn't have to worry about chemicals. She wiped off the dye and added the warm wax, shaping and pressing the cloth onto my skin. A few quick hand motions and I was done. She studied my face some more, taking care of some stubborn strays, snipping the ends into line and declared my brows perfect! Jenny made me promise not to touch or pluck my brows- letting them fill in until she saw me two months later. That first appointment was over a year ago. My brows are now full, well-shaped, and tamed to submission. I always receive compliments on how great they look and save time from having to fill them in when applying my makeup. I can't recommend anyone more highly than Jenny. Her genuine care, artful craft, and welcoming personality make returning each visit something to look forward to. I almost (selfishly) didn't want to write a review to further raise awareness of Jenny- it can be challenge enough getting an appointment as it is, but for good reason! As mentioned in other reviews, Jenny is THE person to see in Cincinnati to get your brows done. She really has a gift... I think brows are one of those features that when they're shaped right they can do so much for your face. Jenny is the only person I'll be trusting to keep my brows in check from here on out. I haven't had any other services yet (def going to treat myself with a facial at some point), but I have heard great things. My friend said she left so relaxed, she almost fell asleep on the drive home! I went here upon my friend's reco. Will definitely go again. I am not one to regularly groom my own brows....Jenny was professional, efficient, yet personable. It was $25 plus tip which is a bit higher than my going to the Benefit Eyebrow Bar at Ulta in Kenwood. It is more private and upscale. (At Ulta you are sitting in a chair for all to see.) Jenny is hands down Cincinnati's eyebrow EXPERT -- there is NO ONE I would trust with my face like Jenny. In addition to having an uncanny talent for brow-shaping, Jenny is an incredibly educated esthetician and also offers facials/spa type services. She will make recommendations about your skincare if you ask, but she will never try to just sell you something. The products Jenny offers do not need any upsale -- quality speaks for itself. A few years back I started taking my mom for brow services with me and now she books four facials a year also and we book our appointments more than a year in advance, yes I am already booked through 2017. My brow game is serious business.
