My husband and I have been patients of Dr Trusky's for a decade! The office is conveniently located in Red Bank. Her staff are kind, personable, caring and extremely helpful. Office is run very professional and smoothly. Rarely have any wait time. Dr Trusky is highly experienced, very professional and straightforward. She takes her practice very seriously! I appreciate that she doesn't "candy coat" anything. Nothing phony about Dr. Trusky ! Tells you like it is even if you don't want to hear it!!! You have to respect a doctor who knows her stuff but yet is gentle and soft spoken. I have had many skin issues. Psoriasis, eczema, Basal Cell carcinoma to name a few. She spends time with you to discuss diagnosis and treatment plans. Even helped me with my nutrition to help clear my skin. It totally worked!!! Also has two incredible medical aestheticians who have helped clear my rosacea and tiny cysts (Milia) on my face. The office offers many other med facial treatments. Recently my sister and my daughter became patients of Dr. Trusky. My sister had bad experiences with Dermatologists in her area and was very fearful and apprehensive. She decided to see Dr Trusky since I spoke so highly of her and the positive results from treatment! She was so happy she did!!! She has taken her first step with Dr Trusky's diagnosis and treatment plan!! My daughter has been seeing her a couple years now and says she will never see anyone but Dr Trusky she travels from South Jersey to office. Since they changed around office staff This office does not function well at all. On four different occasions they never returned my calls and generally don't seem to care about the patients. One staff was so rude on the phone but I guess that can happen anywhere. read more

Will never come back here. Came and explained to the derm what I needed (which had been prescribed to me by my old derm - who retired), and she ignored me and tried to sell me on other treatments. Rude, poor communication skills, can't mitigate skin inflammatory skin problems. She pushes creams n solutions, does not support oral meds....but they work these anti inflammatory meds. She should work at Walmart in the pharmacy section, that should be her career. read more

Receive bills with warning letters to pay. Some copay invoices are mailed to me a year old. Billing dept is all messed up. Dr. Trusky botched my leg to remove a non-cancerous blemish, big scar now without discussing procedure first. Does things in piece meal and veryyyy conservative with is translated into come back again and again...never ending cycle. Staff are rude and I get the sense that the office is more concerned about taking your money rather than actual personal service or precise treatment. My face swelled even more and yesterday I found out I have a Parotid Tumor! Thank God I went to another doctor. Avoid her at all costs! My daughter had the worst Acne I have been dealing with doctor trustee over the phone. And applying her treatments to my daughter's back for about a year now. The majority of Back at has cleared up and we are now working on the scares. I am so grateful to Dr. Trusky and her kind and efficient staff. I was seen in mid December, I found Dr. Trusky to be direct and thorough, which I really appreciate. She ended up finding a melanoma on my leg, and had me come back to the office right away to have other concerning spots removed. I've been seeing Dr. Trusky for many years. She has helped me with my acne, but has also helped with a number of other skin cases. Once she diagnosed a potentially dangerous form of flesh eating bacteria that the other doctors had mis-diagnosed and mis-treated. I have friends who also see her, and she is notorious for helping people when other doctors have failed to treat them properly. She knows what she is doing and she's been doing it a long time. She has always been friendly with me (as friendly as I would expect a doctor to be, she isn't my therapist!!!) I would highly recommend her. read more

DO NOT visit this doctor's office! The doctor is extremely odd. She is abrupt with her patients, does not explain things well, is forgetful, disorganized and focuses on pushing her skincare products. Her office staff is absolutely horrible! Office Manager, Kimberly, is rude, unprofessional and dismissive. Proper procedures are not followed. Mistakes are often made causing much difficulty. Horrible and unethical business. Billing department is a nightmare and horrible to work with. Their offices are trying to threaten me with collections with an invoices from over three years ago that they have not contacted me about in FOREVER. I previously thought it was resolved, since they have not tried to call me. They claim the insurance is not covering the services when in fact they will and just do not know how to communicate and find resolution to any matter. I should've listened to the reviews on yelp and not made an appointment with Dr. Trusky. I have a great medical coverage and pay very little for co-pays and prescriptions.She absolutely shoves her (cash only) skin creams down your throat. It is totally ridiculous that she goes on and on about how sunscreen does not work and only hers does. She tried to get me to buy two other creams as well, I feel like all she cares about is making money not my kind of doctor. To top it all off she tried to convince me to get Botox on my frown lines, when I told her I didn't want to spend that much money she said to me "oh come on, if you don't take care you who will "a doctor that forces that on a patient is a disgusting doctor in my book that's something that the patient should decide to get. I was not there for cosmetic reasons I was there to have a body check. If you're looking for a doctor to sincerely care about your well-being this is not the one. read more

I have been going to see Dr. Trusky for the last few years and never had any complaints until recently. On Nov 1, 2018 I received a certified letter that their office is suing me in small claims court for a mere $190 from a visit in February 2018. They claim the insurance didn't cover the visit because they didn't have my most recent insurance card. They also claim that they sent me countless reminders by mail and I find out it was to my old address. When I explained the situation to the office manager, she was nothing but rude and ignorant and told me that I would have to explain it to the courts. Perhaps they had the wrong address on file, but they had my correct cell phone # and my work phone # on file and never even tried to contact me once via phone. I hope they change their ways of communicating with patients because the mail isn't the most reliable method any longer. Please avoid this office at all costs as they are very unpleasant to deal with and will sue you in a heartbeat! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. First of all I played phone tag with the office to make even one appointment. Finally after calling at an early hour I made one appointment to see trusky for my face. The appointment comes around, now I know this part is my fault, but my alarm never went off and I miss the appointment to see the doctor. I called back to reschedule my appointment and apologize but now I can't reschedule the appointment cause she doesn't want to see me anymore due to my history of appointments. I missed ONE appointment and now Ms Princess doesn't want to see me. The receptionist isn't even friendly about it. Just dismisses me when I ask if this is for real when I've only missed one appointment. I have NEVER been in this situation with any doctor and am appalled. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go here and if you do make sure you set 10 alarms cause we can't keep your highness waiting. read more

Every time I go there I have a bad experience. I had a massive skin infection pop up on my face so I was severely concerned and rushed to the dr to get seen. I was told to wait in the car and they would call me in when ready. (Nervous I was contagious I didn't want to touch anything.) I finally get seen by the Dr and she is extremely judgmental and unsympathetic. She looks at a recent tattoo I have and starts rattling off and lecturing that tattoos are not FDA approved. She also talks to the nurse about treatment and drug options like I am not even in the room (Hmm maybe its this, prescribe her 825 mg of this and that). I had to slow her down and ask her questions about what was going on. She clearly had no concern. I was told to call back the next day to speak to her to make sure the medications were working. I called the office and the receptionist asked what I wanted, I expressed I wanted to talk to the dr, they bounced me around to several other receptionists saying "what can I relay to the dr". I said "My face basically peeled off yesterday I want to speak to the dr!" - they finally transfer me and the dr answers "whats up?" - She then rushes me off the phone like I am the biggest nuisance ever. Worst Worst Worst ever. The only reason I ever went to her for this emergency is because the paperwork was already filled out from a previous visit and other doctors did not have open availability. At the end of the day, steer clear of this woman. She only cares about your money and not about you! read more

i spent thousands of dollars of co pays with dr. trusky and got nothing in return. i was hit with a bad case of adult acne and was put on every antibiotic available known to man. i kept appointments with this woman, once a month for over 18 months, just because i thought i might get lucky and she would finally do something that would improve my condition. after the first year i was suddenly hit with my first bill that was over $900. the bill had appointment listings for over a dozen appointments with different codes. AT LEAST TWO WERE FOR COMPLETELY FICTIONAL PROCEDURES. the billing "staff" -which seems to be one very confused woman, has no idea what she is doing. to call her incompetent would be an understatement. after visiting five different dermatologists in monmouth county i have learned that these people can do very little for acne. don't waste your time or money. thankfully my skin has cleared (bioclarity - just try it!) so i no longer deal with these so called medical professionals. read more

Dr. Trusky was extraordinarily condescending for the 30 seconds in which she met with me. She reprimanded me for not seeing her frequently, which was a result of me being out of town attending college. Her staff told me on the phone that she would be able to see me for 2 things during one meeting, yet when I arrived she told me that was not possible "because of my insurance." When I checked with my insurance, they said this was NOT a problem they have heard of before and they believe she is committing insurance fraud. Such a shame to see a doctor in the hopes of being helped just to be treated like a second class citizen. I would definitely NOT recommend this doctor. I was later seen by a dermatologist in NYC and their staff was extraordinarily helpful and they were able to see me for multiple reasons in one appointment.
