Been going to Dr Hud for 14 years. He's terrific. Great personality and his staff is on top of it. Front of the office couldn't be better. GET THIS!! When he removes something he treats them at the time you're there. He doesn't take a little snip and have you come back in for results. No extra doctor visit. As someone who's been going here for a while, here's my 2 cents. It's a good place and a solid dermatologist office. However, the time I made an appointment is not usually the time I've seen. I spend more time in the waiting room and alone in the patient room than with the doctor. The doctor herself is nice if not a bit brusque. It seems lots of spots and stuff just happen as you get older (lol). Getting in takes months which is a shame but honestly makes sense at derm locations. The staff are really sweet, through they're definitely rushed at times. The receptionist is really kind and helpful. The assistants are pretty friendly but not always. They've gone though lots of them too I think. I've seen like 5 new ones in the time I've been there. Also the app NEVER works for me, even though I use my phone. I can never check in and I have to waste my time checking in when I get there. And in the past, I've had a hard time getting there on time due to the location. Plus, as someone who worked in healthcare, I know that you see a lot of patients and info gets lost. But there needs to be more communication! I tell the assistant on the phone my problem, I go in for my appointment and the assistant asks me what my problem is, and then the doctor comes in asks me what my problem is. There's just lots of repetition which really speaks to some lack of proper communication. Overall, good place with few problems but definitely worth it for your yearly appointment read more

Will not be returning, was recommended a non-dermatologist for my needs, so I didn't get the help I needed, yet still charged $80 (even with my insurance!) No discussion of pay till later, as doctors always go, but the least they could do was look over my paperwork before the visit to realize I wasn't there for what I needed. I absolutely would not have visited if I knew this beforehand. read more

Received very thorough exam and I was treated quickly and efficiently. I recommend this practice for skin care.

I am not one to go to the doctor. But I recently found a mole to be extremely worried about. I ask my best friend and he referred me to Associated Dermatologist. I was very nervous and once Dr Zech and his nurse saw me, they were THE BEST!!!! Dr Zech explained everything to me in layman's terms. I'm really surprised there aren't more reviews here for Dr. Barrows. She's such a wonderful doctor, we often lament that she is "only" a dermatologist, as we'd count ourselves fortunate to have her as *any* kind of specialist! First of all, they do a *lot* more than just check for and treat skin cancers, however, as residents of Tucson, we are deeply grateful to have such a competent, pleasant, thorough professional in charge of our dermatological health. I doubt anybody looks forward to thinking about skin cancer, but it's a real risk in Tucson and Dr. Barrows makes the job of caring for one's skin as pleasant as it can be. It's a comfort to be in such good hands and to know that she and her staff will do everything they can to make the appointments into a positive experience. read more

After several years of ok routine dermatology appts here, Linda Barrows and her 'staff' are out. The fact that covid precautions are practiced for lung disease patients, told me Barrows needs to open her own independent office that focuses on the care of seriously comprised lung patients. While special concessions and considerations by ANY Dr. in 2022, are applauded, to force other patients to comply with a lifted state and local mandate, OR not be seen, is out of Linda Barrows dictatorship reach. Her MA staff, from the short walk to the patient exam room, has serious memory loss, as too what your appt is for. Even though, your schedule in, rests in their hands. Literally none of the patient history is read prior to being seen. Repetitive questions because no one read the chart, defines a disinterested medical office staff. Their office fees are far too steep to be treated like you do not matter, but others that are not even present, when you are there, do. In 2022, a provider that caters to patients with a particular disease, SHOULD BE specializing in the patients who have that condition. Not routine patients, that would like to have a mutual respect, interaction. Not browbeating patients who walk in the door for a routine appt, about a mandate that does not lawfully exist, anywhere else in an entire county. and then treated like an inconvenience, when you're seen, just isn't right.
