Researching podiatrist online, Dr. Carollo's reviews were absolutely stellar, so I decided to give her a try, hoping the reviews weren't too good to be true. They absolutely weren't! Dr. Carollo is such a genuinely kind and attentive doctor. She really listened to what I was experiencing with my foot and gave me several non-invasive options to try to heal an inflamed nerve. I'm happy to report after following her recommendation and getting custom orthotics the nerve has finally healed and feels back to normal. And as an added benefit the orthotics have helped some other foot and ankle fatigue I previously experienced after working out. A win-win! Dr. Hemmerey had me numb, removed the steel wool and stitched me up and wrapped my foot in record time! He was able to see the steel wool fragment in the x-ray! No post operative pain.
