Dr Hurt is out of date on proceedures. Poor support staff, parking is impossible unless you are a goat. No quality of care.

My husband and I are both patients of Dr. Hirt at FFC. Dr. Hirt provides excellent quality medical care. He is professional but polite. He gives you time to ask questions, and he appears genuinely concerned about his patients. He does not razzle dazzle you with small talk to cover for poor training. No need for that here. It is obvious that he is very well trained. He takes care of his business and moves on, which we greatly appreciate. The staff are very polite, and the office is kept clean. We have had to see the other doctors at times, and they are excellent too. We highly recommend FFC. read more

PLEASE READ ALL THESE REVIEWS. ESPECIALLY IN REGARDS TO DR. HIRT! I began seeing Dr. Hirt at the end of August for crippling foot pain that I thought was related to a previous bunion surgery. Dr. Hirt told me that the bone involved in my surgery had "slid" downwards and I was essentially walking on my bone. Then he sold me a pair of $230.00 insoles for my shoes. My mother was so confused when I relied my experience, she accompanied me for my next visit. Let's just say, she was not impressed and luckily suggested I contact a surgeon. Which I did, but didn't have an appointment until the beginning of November. Until then, I continued seeing Dr. Hirt, who was ready to "schedule surgery for my broken foot" but then kept pushing it off by ordering unnecessary testing. The entire experience was so surreal. I finally saw the surgeon, who informed me immediately that I had NO BROKEN BONES, the reason I was in excruciating pain and couldn't walk on my foot was because I had a TEXTBOOK case of CRPS that had (at this point) spread through my other toes. She started me on medicine (Gabapentin) that had already (4 days later) has greatly alleviated the pain and will allow me to somewhat walk on my foot. I went to Fenton Foot Care for TWO MONTHS with nothing done to help me. Another Doctor helped me immediately. I am not even going to get into the unprofessionalism of the office staff - but they are incredibly rude and dismissive. Will hang up on you and then send your calls to VM while they are still open. Oh, and the cherry on top was paying $10.00 for a CDrom of my xrays and received a blank CDrom to take to the surgeon. all I can say is GO SONEWHERE ELSE. EDIT/UPDATE TO THE FACT THAT FENTON FOOT CARE CHOSE TO RESPOND. First off; No one was cursed at or yelled at. Your office staff is beyond unprofessional. I asked you to review the recording so it was not my word against the receptionist. I'm assuming you did not, because that would have cleared up that accusation. 2nd; I literally have one of THE BEST insurances. BCBS PPO. They never had any issues with the testing. It was that the tests (MRIs, etc ) just schedule out weeks away. 3rd, Dr. Hirt absolutely asked me when I would like to schedule surgery for. You did do imaging tests. Every single time I came in you xrayed my foot. My mother was also sitting right there when Dr. Hirt showed us "where it was broken" on the xray, and asked when i was thinking it would be good to schedule surgery! For a medical facility to respond to EVERY SINGLE ONE OR TWO STAR REVIEW AND SAY ANYTHING BUT "SORRY FOR YOUR EXPERIENCE" IS AN UNACCEPTABLE PRACTICE. Last (but definitely not least); it's pretty interesting that EVERY one or two star review regards the SAME DOCTOR HIRT. So maybe.. maybe it's not the patients "that need to be professional" (this is an exact qoute from Corey - who I'm assuming responds to these bad reviews) maybe, just maybe, the doctor needs to be looked at. read more

Dr. Lowe data d an excellent job managing discomfort in my foot while giving injections and performing minor surgery. He explained each step in an easy-to-understand manner. The MA Carly, provided excellent care as well and was very personable. From the front desk staff to check-out personnel, all were professional and showed care in doing their job. My appointment was good and I liked Dr. Otis. The issues I have are what occured after the appt. I was asked at my appt if I wanted toenail snet to the lab for tests. ASKED as in optional. No one informing me that many many tests would be ordered by the Dr resulting in a HUGE lab bill! I called and left messages and never received return calls. I always had to call back each time and ask why no one was calling me back. They refuse to give me my test results unless I pay for another visit . . . Just to go over results!!! Are they good? Are they bad? No idea b/c no one will tell me the results of the tests that I HAVE PAID FOR. The Doctor can not be bothered to call me back bc the assumption is that the call will take too long. I'm sorry - WHAT? I'm your patient but you won't call me on the phone? Yep, that's their "POLICY." The impression I'm left with is that I am not important. My questions and concerns are not important. They only want my money. THere is another review here mentioned the SAME issue about excessive lab costs/tests. I will take my business elsewhere. Something so easy to resolve has now lost you all future business from me and my family members and anyone else who asks me for my opinion. And after my call ending at 1:34pm when I was told the office manager was at lunch and would call me back ... it's now 3:04 and I'm still waiting for a return call. ‍ read more

I came here for myself and my daughter. We were seen promptly and the entire staff was so nice. Dr. Otis was attentive, kind and took her time in understanding and explaining the problem. The issue I had is taken care of and my daughter is being seen to get her issues resolved. I'd recommend dr. Otis to any of my friends and family. read more

Refused to give me an appointment because I would not provide sensitive insurance information over the phone. This is "their policy". My policy is is to find doctors that actually care more about their patient's welfare than the money they stand to collect for their services. read more

Completely satisfied with the office staff and Dr. Holden-Otis. Doctor did surgery on my foot and has treated a few other conditions with tremendous care and expertise and I would recommend her practice to anyone looking for a local expert. read more

Have brought my daughter here a couple times for treatment. The first time they identified an issue which her primary care physician had dismissed as nothing. Prescribed a pill and she never had the issue again. Would be 5 stars except one issue...The second time we received great service as well however, toenail samples were taken and sent to a lab. I was not informed there would be an additional cost or that the the lab was offsite and another entity so I was surprised when I received an unexpected $500 lab bill. read more

Ive had issues with my feet all my life I went to Fenton foot care and saw Dr. Hirt on one visit and Dr. Holdren on another & I could not be happier with the service I received. Both doctors took the time to explain to me why my feet were in so much pain & why the treatment they suggested would work best. Not only are the doctors extremely informative but the staff is very friendly and helped me get my disability paperwork turned in 2 days later ( my primary care doctor would have taken 2 weeks). My feet are better then they have been in a long time. I will definitely be going if I have any more foot issues! read more

Don't waste your time and money here. My elderly mother went here and for $35 all they did is trim her nails and nothing more. Rude treatment and uncaring people. She ended up going somewhere else to get a regular pedicure for the same price. read more

Went there because I have pain in my toes. They gave me a cortisone shot. Didn't run any tests. They also gave me a piece of felt to wear in my shoes, which made the pain worse. When I told the doctor, she insisted that I wear it anyway. Don't bother going here. They don't listen and don't seem to care. Still have pain in my toes. My wife has suffered a stroke and we need all the help we can get when it comes to foot care or any other care for that matter. We have taken her to Fenton Foot Care a few times for ingrown nail treatment. The first treatment needed to be pretty aggressive. I won't go back here. My son had an ingrown toenail taken care of. Went back for the 2 wk check up and it was healed and looking great. The doctor split the skin open which hurt like heck and said it was so no infection got in!! What!! It was healed! When we walked out I asked my son, "Did that hurt?". He said, "You have no idea, I was trying not to show it but that hurt a lot". He has another foot issue but I immediately took him to someone else. read more
