Extremely disappointed with how I was treated regarding a previously scheduled appointment. My doctor, Dr Ramansky, retired and I was scheduled with Dr Pierpaoli last May for an appointment on November 8 2024. Approximately 2 weeks prior to my appointment I was advised that Dr Pierpaoli was not taking new patients and I was arbitrarily assigned to a different doctor in the group without any input or discussion with myself. When I called to question the reassignment the staff offered no assistance or insights why my previously schedule appointment was arbitrarily cancelled. My husband went there for a procedure and I would give 0 stars if I could. Dr. User was good- very knowledgeable and efficient BUT the office staff is why I am writing this review. Patient was called into procedure room. Nurse told patient to undress from the waist down, never gave him anything to cover himself with. He's laying in room with private area uncovered while her and another nurse are in and out the room. Nurse opened up a sterile kit to clean patient with. She never washed her hands! She used the SAME GLOVES to open the kit, dispose of sterile kit materials in garbage while touching the garbage can and then also using her hands to push the garbage into the can. She then starts to clean patient with the SAME GLOVES using sterile kit contents (sponge and solution). She never explained to patient what she was doing to his private parts, never gave him anything to cover himself. She was very rude when she was asked to open a new kit with clean gloves, cutting me off before I can explain why I am requesting a new kit BECAUSE SHE KNEW SHE WAS WRONG. She was in and out room several times NEVER seen washing her hands. Had I not told her to get new kit, he is at risk of infection because of her laziness. I attempted to reach out to office manager but they kept asking for information and would not let me give feedback anonymously. Had I not been there to advocate for him, there could have been serious consequences to his health. I do not recommend this office to anyone. read more

If you want them to lie to you and try to take your money this is the place for you. Website states no cut vasectomy. Paid my co pay for a consultation and the doctor said no he does the cut traditional vasectomy and you'll have stitches. These were questions I asked before setting the appointment and told the opposite. Now they want 400 dollars for my consult. I chose a different place after I walked out and wasted my time. read more

Dr. Michael Herzog is my doctor and I think he's wonderful. Takes time with patients and goes over results before suggesting any procedures. I think the world of Ewa, she's the Best. She has gone over things w/me and has helped when things were embarrassing to me. That's why I keep coming back, I just lover her. The girls up front are Great, I have not had a problem till today. Called to talk to Ewa and the recording came on and when I chose a number the recording came on again. Went on line and found out the office was closed. I have my friend Mary Lou to thank for telling me about this office. She too is very happy. read more

Definitely will not recommend using Dr. DeFranco's Orland Park office. Doctor was pleasant enough but the front office staff and people answering phones were very unprofessional. Found it very hard to get a response by telephone, text, chat, email for anything from any location. Tried to get my test results forwarded to other doctors and hospitals and they do everything possible not to help you with a simple request. They wouldn't even give me the website where I can look at the results myself. Been trying for two weeks, left several messages had the Insurance provider call and all received the same rude and deceptive experience I received. Very bad customer service. Extremely rude front office staff and very hard to reach anyone unless you are making an appointment. Avoid. read more

Dr Mancini is just the best!! Can't say enough good things about him. Very lucky to have found him for my husband and his many stones.

It is difficult to communicate with this office. It is not possible to leave a message directly for a nurse. The voicemail system doesn't have an option for that. You have to leave a detailed message with the front desk person and they relay it to a nurse. When you do get to speak with the nurse, you need to explain why you're calling in detail again. Each time you call, you are forced to go through a LONG and repetitive voicemail system. The office gets many complaints about it, according to a front desk person I spoke with, but it never changes. I had to make four phone calls over four days recently before my doctor returned my call. I was told that this doctor doesn't use the "system" the front desk uses to relay messages, so sometimes he may not get his messages. When he did return my call, after I had spent so much time trying to reach him without him returning my call, he was rushed. Another example: Once when I had cancer, I called for my pathology results. The doctor returned my call, but I just missed it, so I quickly called back. I was told he had left and to call back in three days. Apparently the doctor makes important calls, like letting patients know they have cancer, as he's walking out the door for the weekend. The woman I spoke to was rude. I was begging her to page him and she hung up on me. This practice doesn't care about the emotional toll of having to wait three days to find out whether you have cancer when you know they have the report. (I drove 45 minutes to the hospital pathology dept. and got the report myself, since the office wouldn't help me, so I and my loved ones would not have to needlessly wait that long to find out my cancer had returned). When I finally spoke with my doctor about the results, I told him about the rudeness of his staff member. He told me that other patients also had problems with her. So why was she still working there? If you want a practice that effectively communicates information/results and answers your questions in a timely manner, this is not it. No one should have to make numerous phone calls over several days to get a response. read more

Unable to walk without pain after receiving a catheter, I called and spoke to a Nurse Lisa who had no bedside manners. I was trying to figure out a time where I can get in. She said can make an 'exception' for me." as if I am putting her out-of-her way. She told me she was in at the Orland location if I could come in today. I told her I couldn't and she kept asking me why (when its not her business). So I explained my daughter had a follow up appointment for tubes and had no one to drive. When trying to figure out a time for next week she kept interrupting me with the fact shes in the office today. Rude, uncompassionate, and left an impression I was bothering her. read more

Went in for appt... Woman named Ellen was ssooo rude, unprofessional, screamed we didn't have proper paper work threw our paperwork back at us and told us to call our dr..( she sent the paperwork 2 weeks ago when I made appt we were there 90 mins , and didn't get to see a dr... She called our primary Doctor's office and screamed at the lady there in front of everyone in the waiting room, said very loudly and angry that the people at my doctors office didn't know anything .. We left after waiting 90 mins listening to this woman demeaning us.. Never in our 72 yrs , never seen anyone be so rude to patients.. We were ...embarrassed totally humiliated... We will never go back to this office again...They need to get this lady out of there, another man left also.. read more

Dr Kim is billing a higher level cpt than what was done. He is also putting incorrect info in my records saying I was examined and what his findings were. I was not examined! The office and the billing dept are saying i have to pay the bill. They will not hold it while i appeal. They are punishing me for the dr doing wrong. Horrible place. Rude people. read more
