Scheduling an appointment and being seen? Not a issue. You get right in, they take their time. All good. You need to talk to someone after? Or a have to call the office afterwards or need to send a message after? YOU LITERALLY NEVER GET AN ANSWER! My pharmacy even tried for 3 weeks and they would not even call them back! WHY?! And when you try to explain this to them, they do not care. It is almost like the offices are too big and they are suppose to be centralized and report out and instead they are each independent. I had to have mohls surgery on my nose last week and to say I was nervous was an understatement. Emilio was compassionate and so understanding. He explained everything and basically talked me off the ledge. I was so thankful to have him in the room. The surgeron did not have the bedside manner required for this kind of procedure. The following day I was lucky enough to have Emilio once again and Dr. McClure as my plastic surgeon. He was wonderful. I went back yesterday to have the bandage removed as I required a skin graft and I was ecstatic with the results. Of course I still have a long road ahead with the care required to make sure it stays healthy and no infection sets in but it looks fantastic with the exception of some discoloration and scabbing. The staff between the offices are so dysfunctional.... For several years and I don't know why it's taking me this long. Every appointment there is something that they have told me at a prior appointment that was going to be done. And then, when I go to this appointment, they have no record of anything.... Last year, I went to the Clermont office on 50. when I was notified that I could obtain the results, I tried FOR WEEKS. the phones are NEVER ANSWERED. if you let the phone ring for too long, they lift the earpiece off the phone. it took over a month to get the results. a friend recommended Mario in Ocoee. great guy. fast. he took biopsy, and now ASSOCIATES IS DARING ME TO OBTAIN THE RESULTS. I was HOPING A DIFFERENT OFFICE MIGHT NOT BE INCOMPETENT. Wrong!!!!!!!! The notice I received from Assoc. was to go to ATHENA. I texted, asking who Athena was. (after 6 phone calls) hooray. I had recreated a new password. TotallyIncompetentOutfit! after an hour. then I failed my secret question. So, instead of allowing users to address how to resolve access, I was shunted back to a new password. These PEOPLE MUST BE REPORTED TO INSURANCE AGENCIES FOR FAILURE TO "CARE" for their patients! They exist for $$$$$$$$ and tolerate the bodies who cause money to be paid to them. read more

I have to say Laura Mays, PA is the best. My wife had gone to at least a half dozen dozen dermatologists(MD;s)over the past 9 years ever since she had a melanoma surgically removed from her left heel. None of the skin doctors gave even a cursory glance at her heel. I pleased with my wife to give Laura Mays a visit. Sur enough she gave a very close look at her heel and took 3 biopsies as she thought something didnt look quite right.,Came back melanoma. My wife went to Moffitt cancer ctr in Tampa. had 2 surgeries (fairly deep cancer)) plus a 3rd surgery for a skin graft. Thanks to Laura Mays and the great care at Moffitt she is fine today. This could have easily metastasized Laura may be a PA but she has done better exam than any MD (dermatologist) we ever went to. read more

I accompanied my wife to her doctor visit one day. she had a dark spot growing on the back of her shoulder. The doctor on duty took a look at it, and assured her that it was not cancerous. He was able to freeze it. One of the reasons for five star is that the doctor was very through, he asked a lot of questions. and looked at her arms, legs, face, and back for any sun exposure. Everyone there was very kind and courteous. My wife made an additional follow up appointment in six months. I also noticed a poster for their very own skin care product line. read more

This is the review I wish I read: Customers are just a number, you can expect better service at a fast food restaurant. Everything is rushed and then they push medications and steroids on you without any consideration. What's worse is the false impression the person coming in the room to see you is a Doctor, which is not the case. So if you'd like to be a test subject, at least go to a place running clinical trials, you'll be seen by actual doctors and get paid to be there to have them test drugs on you. read more

SCAM. Do not come to this place. They look at your moles for .5 seconds, then try to charge you hundreds of dollars to remove them, even when insurance covers it. They also don't have a clue what's going on. Run. read more

I can not recommend this office. My first bad experience was the Doc taking a biopsy that ended up just a rash. And then charged me for another office visit to tell me it was a rash, when a phone call would have sufficed. The final event was the Doc going on vacation, no back up, while my pharmacy and I spent 10 days contacting the office for a perscription refill.... Only to find out after 3 faxes and 3 calls over 10 days she was on vacation and now back, wont refill unless I come into the office for a visit. We should have been informed there would be a delay 10 days ago. I felt nickled and dimed, and I cant say I was impressed. read more

I visited to get a small mole checked out on my shoulder. The "doctor" Laura Mays looked at the spot for less than 5 seconds and immediately told me it was a wart and needed removal. I denied her treatment to get 2nd and 3rd opinions from other dermatologists. I know the difference between a mole and a wart. With actual time and care, the other providers I visited told me the spot was in fact a mole and that I should be wary of providers who try to suggest procedures that will make them money. Very frustrating. Avoid this location! read more

***update*** i got in for the app with Dr Seche last friday 4th Mar and the cyst had become infected. The dr cleared out what he could and prescribed a set augmentin anti-biotics which has so far cleared it up. i have however got another abases infection in my check. likely due to the previous bursting a few days before i went for the appointment. I ended up being advised to go to the ER by the dr to get it looked at. i increased my rating to 3 as the dr and the nurses were good and helpful and the dr has called me mulitple times to check up how i got on at the ER and after. The main issue here was the admin staff and not getting back to me soon enough and understanding the urgency of the issue. read more

Their phones don't work so you cannot call to make an appt or a follow up. During my visit,they told me they are going to schedule me to another doctor to take care of my situation. They also told me to wait 2 days to make the call. So therefore I wait 2 days. Call the number and it is unreachable. So I pretty much went there for no reason. There goes 40$ down the drain. Please go someplace else. It's not about how "nice and friendly or professional" you are. If you cannot get the job done. Right or AT ALL. They are lucky to get 3 stars that's only because it is clean and "nice and friendly". Smh now I'm going to look someplace else. read more

I've had multiple visits (and surgeries) with this firm. Very professional and very caring! Laura Mays has gone above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and informed. She always took extra time to care for me and make sure I knew how to use certain medications/products and she always followed up as if I were her only patient. I had an appt here a few weeks ago and have to say I was weary because of the reviews on here. With my insurance though I didn't have many choices and this one had the best reviews. I got there and the waiting room was nice, the staff was also nice. I only had to wait a few mins before going back to see the doctor. I went on a Monday, so I'm not sure if that makes a difference (different drs on different days). I go back in a few weeks for a follow up so fingers crossed it goes as smooth as it did this time. read more

Hmm 1 star? NOT EVEN!!! The office is a dump, poorly lit through out the entire place. The medical room had a giant chair that look like its from the seventies, the cabinet in the room was a mechanics tool chest. Came in for acne medication and check up for skin cancer. The doctor looked at my my back as fast as you can blink your eye. She said she was going to prescribe me antibiotics and topical creams to treat my acne. She leaves, a nurse comes in & gives me coupons and a prescription and says call this number for your prescription. I tell her I don't want that, I want to get it at CVS. She tells me well there can be up to a 2 week delay if we have to sent it to CVS. . I find out that the medication is about 1,200$ without insurance. They are obviously getting kickbacks for prescribing the medication they write and the pharmacy they make you use. I then try to get a generic alternative. When you call it is not possible to call that office, you are sent to a call center. I have left 3 messages and no return. I ended up getting nothing out of the office visit..NO CANCER SCAN, NO PRESCRIPTION and MY COPAY. Ended up making an appointment at a different doctor. Anyone that gives this place more than one star obviously works there. Stay away! read more

We took our daughter to see Dr. Laura Mays they took our copay looked at my daughter for less than 2 minutes and said she was going to find some samples for us, her assistant came back 2 minutes after and said she had no samples then she gave us a Dr name in Orlando Dr. Sonia Madrazo Rico and said to make an appointment, mt daughter has a rash in her face we took 3 times and she could not find my daughter's problem why send us to a pediatrician and not a dermatologist, bad move on her behalf, don't take your kids to her. read more

We recently visited this office, and everyone in the office were super friendly and helpful. They provided us with lots of information to help my daughter's needs. They provided us with product samples, coupons, and instruction how to apply certain products to the skin. The communication isn't very good. They contacted my mother 2 years after to see if she was going to continue seeing them for her results, they don't seem to care very much for the patients and that was discouraging. They only cared for their business from what I could see. read more
