I was recommended by a friend to go here and it was awful! The doctor was so harsh with what he had to do. There was hardly any conversation and wound up getting a severe bacterial infection in my throat from the doctor spraying too much of something up my nose. Yesterday I received juvederm ultra lip injections from Dr. Heller and I am absolutely thrilled with the results so far. While it hasn't been 24 hours yet I'm in love with the shape and fullness. I've envisioned this moment, like many others, where I would proudly be writing a review for life-changing plastic surgery. I know that may sound incredibly vain but gaining confidence and the ability to see yourself the way that you always wish you had - is truly a gift. My only regret in this whole process is NOT doing this sooner... I could've saved so many years not living in my own head, being more insecure than necessary, and focusing on one thing whenever looking in the mirror or photos. My nose naturally was not all that bad to be honest, but it was not one that I loved and was not one I was proud to have. After saving up some money and after years and years of research and several consultations - what made me pull the trigger this time was how matter-of-fact and uncomplicated Dr.Miller made everything feel. His work is very natural, and tasteful - but expertly done! What may be a minor difference to others, will be a huge difference to you (this is the kind of plastic surgery you want. NOT the super obvious, in my opinion). I got my consult and booked on the spot. Now, don't be alarmed that Dr.Miller is not particularly a man of many words...if you ask, he will answer - but he doesn't get into the nitty gritty unnecessarily - which I actually appreciate. I had a revision rhinoplasty at the end of October. My nostrils were uneven and you were able to see up them. Dr Miller made it clear that revisions are more difficult than initial surgery but he thought it would be an improvement. He used my own cartridge from my ear to make my nose a bit longer so you couldn't see up my nostrils anymore. I'm absolutely thrilled with my very natural and subtle results. The anesthesiologist that Dr Miller worked with was amazing as well. I would recommend Dr Miller to anyone. He's not pushy and he's very realistic about what he thinks would look good or not. After doing some research I decided on seeing Dr. Miller for a consultation for a surgical procedure at the Warren location. The consult felt rushed to me, as if he had somewhere else to be & wanted to get through it as quickly as possible. I felt as though I was treated as "eh, another day, another free consult." They say you get what you pay for & I mention that because this is the second consult I've had for my area of interest: the first time was a consult I paid $250 for. He was warm, got to know me a little, but I ultimately decided he wasn't the surgeon for me. I knew shortly after meeting Dr. Miller that he would not be my surgeon either. I gave four stars here because it was only a consult & I didn't actually experience Dr. Miller as a surgeon. & because the staff was friendly. Hopefully others have a warmer experience. read more

Can't say anything about the doctors or nurses, since I was only dropping off a relative for surgery here. However, the front desk is beyond unprofessional. Making a patient wait half an hour from the scheduled appointment time without any explanation is unacceptable. Then proceeding to talk loudly about your sex life and relationship troubles for everyone in the waiting room to listen to... seriously, your one night stand isn't calling you back, get over it. Then telling the patient to go upstairs to surgery- "you know the way, right?" No, we don't know the way, this isn't the same office as the consultation, get off your rear end and help out! We finally get upstairs, and after ringing a door bell, a nurse answers asking for the chart. No one gave us a chart... oh wait, we have to wait again while they get the chart. Is this a joke? I have wanted rhinoplasty since I was young and finally had the surgery two weeks ago. I am so happy that I chose Dr. Miller. From my consultation to post-op appointments, I always felt that I was in good hands. Dr. Miller is professional, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable at what he does. My recovery after surgery was better than I expected. I was swollen and bruised as expected the first several days but was in hardly any pain, just discomfort. The post-op care has been excellent in the weeks following my surgery. In addition to the professionalism of Dr. Miller and his office, I am ecstatic with my results. I had a wide nose with a dorsal hump and droop in the front. Dr. Miller thoroughly examined my nose during the consultation and again on the day of surgery and knew exactly what I wanted from my surgery. My new nose fits my face so much better than my previous nose did. The results look so natural that no one can tell that I had a nose job. I've been going to Dr. Miller for years. Results are ok, I bruise easily, I don't know if that is technique or just me getting older. My issue is the ridiculous wait times and how poorly the office is run. Clearly they have major structural and administrative issues in the office which they don't seem to care to address. I waited well over an hour past my scheduled appt. time today and the staff told me there are still 4 people ahead of me, so I left. Young receptionist was absurdly rude, stated she can't help it if everyone shows up at the same time and she's working too, huh?, does she not know that appointments are actually scheduled in advance? Mind you there is no sign in sheet, so people who show up an hour late could potentially be seen on time, staff is clueless and it just makes no sense. We are paying clients, we can go elsewhere and spend our money, they are not doing us a favor, we are paying for a service. So I'm looking for a new provider and hope to find one asap which shouldn't be too difficult. Location was very convenient for me but the level of service from staff members is just too poor to accept considering the out of pockets costs. read more

I was never really concerned with the size as I feel I had a good size nose for my face ,it was more about lifting the tip of my nose and I wanted a more narrow nose. Miller's are exceptional at their work and care for their patients. several years ago I received LASIK surgery when dr. Julie Miller was still performing the surgery, from that point on it has been over 10 years and I still see perfectly clear with no issues or any problems that people speak of after the surgery. Ask for dr. Andrew Miller he helped solve a problem that I've been dealing with almost all my life since I was a little boy. Since the age of three or four I've been dealing with profuse sweating from my right hand and wrist which was later diagnosed several years later by dr. Andrew Miller has hyperhidrosis. No doctor that I ever went to could explain why this was going on. Dr. Miller decided to try Botox which was now being also being used for overactive sweat glands. He explain the pain that I be going through in certain areas in my wrist how I could use certain creams to numb it but when you get that many shots as I was getting in my hand at that point pain really wasn't a factor . several years of hundreds of injections in my right hand I can honestly say that I no longer use sweatbands or any type of towel under my hand and have no issues with shaking hands or wearing my police uniform now now without getting sweat stains all over them like I used to. People may find it strange to say that I was going for years of injections hundreds of injections just to stop sweating no one understands how bad the sweating in my hand was and how badly it affected my social life and my professional life as well dr. Andrew Miller literally cured a problem that I had that affected me thoroughly throughout life. My last visit was for allergy test things not too long ago maybe a week where I met with nurse Dawn who explained all the injections that I would be getting what they would be meaning and how could tell whether or not I was allergic to something. After about an hour in the office I finally start to react to the injections as she said she measure the results and tell me exactly what I was allergic to and now I'm on working medication to help fix that issue as well. Again nothing but courteous professional and polite. This is where I find it very strange to see these negarive reviews. The office staff and doctors have the nothing but Pleasant courteous and professional throughout all my visits in the Warren office or the Edison office I recommend no one else but these doctors for my needs or anyone else's needs. read more

I don't recommend them. I only gave the one star because it isn't possible to give zero. I'm new to New Jersey, so I don't know where I should be going and where I shouldn't for the things that matter, but I know now that Plastic Surgery and Associates in Edison is a BAD CHOICE. I came in for Botox and told the dr. that I wanted my forehead and between my nose to be frozen and that I normally get 50 units, she said that I had to pay by area, that what I wanted equated to 2 areas and that each area was 20 units for a total of 40 units. I knew that wouldn't be enough and so I asked what I was to do when the Botox had settled and I still wasn't happy. She said it would be no problem to touch up whatever was left. So I then paid for the 2 areas and got my 40 units. She told me my forehead looked "like a pin cushion", but didn't seem to care much so thi thought it was no big deal. When I saw my face I almost cried. I had to sit in my car for 30 min because I was too ashamed to be seen!!! I had giant welts all over my forehead, I've NEVER had this result with Botox!!! The Dr. noted this, but didn't seem to care or offer a solution (like an ice pack!!??) she had told me that she wanted me to wait a week before deciding if I needed more, so I did.. and it was horrible. During that week my left eyebrow raised higher than my right. I discovered this horrible thing by watching people's reaction to my facial movements, I was so humiliated! It got a little better a couple of days later, but it was still off and I could crinkle between my nose as if I hadn't even gotten Botox there. What makes it all even worse than a messed up face is that I payed twice as much for Botox here than I did back home (I thought that by spending more I'd be ensured a clean and reputable office). I made another appointment, like I was told, only to be told that I'd have to pay for additional Botox! How can a place charge for an "area" (not by unit) and not deliver on that? Why would I pay more money for what I've already payed for?! I'm incredibly disappointed and angry to have spent so much money on nothing, and I'm hurt because I feel I've been taken advantage of. Despite my complaints they won't take care of me without getting more money. I hope this review helps others new to Botox or to the area of Edison to STEER CLEAR!!! read more
