Seeing as this was a Wednesday and I'm employed my day was filled with meetings and I missed Ronin's call back. At 330pm (initial call at 9am) I called back expecting to have my window missing overnight, only to learn that they had taken the initiative and purchased the glass without my confirmation. I was then able to head to the shop where the service was completed. The service itself was top shelf with a high attention to detail and standard. The whole experience was a pleasure and the price, especially in the context of the accommodation and Ronin taking the risk of ordering the glass, was to put it lightly reasonable. I fixed a windshield chip with them in 2014. I saw a chip again almost in the same spot. It costs…read more$105 + tax to fix it and it is 100% covered by insurance. I got an appointment the next day (I called yesterday). When I arrived, they inspected it and said it was the original chip that they repaired. With Sun and cold, the filling could fall out with windshield wipers. Yes I used the wipers 3 days prior! They said they will take 20 mins to refill it free of charge! They will cancel my insurance claim! This is great service! I bought the best wipers from them 5 months ago. A month ago they started making noise as the wipers moved upward. They said they would investigate it for me. It turns out the person who installed it removed a thin adapter so the wipers were loose. They put in an adapter and it is now quiet. No charge. They also have a coffee/tea/hit chocolate machine you can use while waiting.

Driving along Hwy 401 yesterday, I heard a sharp cracking noise and thought a rock had smashed into my windshield about eye-level. Nothing looked wrong so I kept driving along the rest of the day. Well, due to the hot temperature yesterday and a slight cooling this morning, a pinhole appeared at eye-level along with a 1 centimetre crack on either side of the puncture. The first thing I thought of was to bring my new vehicle to a place I've been twice before. Ah yes, rocks seem to find me! My vehicle deductible is $1K and a new windshield runs $1200+. Well, book a service appointment and let's get it done. Lucky for me, Frank said they were able to repair the damage as it was less than the size of a 25 cent coin. I was back on the road an hour later for just $119. Customer service was great for the third time but I'm hoping to avoid making this a recurring visit. He is from Auto Glass Canada 2900 Warden Ave, Scarborough. He inspected the cracked spot. He used agrinder to smooth the damaged spot, applied resin, and then remove the surplus resin by a blade. I was told that it's done. It was less then 5 minutes. I asked how come no power vac/heating/suction applied. He said his gel is more advance and no need to do that. He said that it is life time warranty. He then left. I called other stone chip repairers. I was told that power Vac/heating/suction is always applied. I called this company to question about the propriety of the repair work. I was told that I cannot challenge the professional worker's judgement. A moment later, the mechanic called and rebuke me for calling the company to raise question about his workmanship .... I will not use these two companies in the future.
