The service was great, and Kylie (I believe that was her name) did an amazing facial. She was kind, professional, and I was very happy with the treatment itself. Unfortunately, my experience afterward was very disappointing. I was sent to speak with another employee about packages and skincare products. Without my authorization, she took my phone out of my hands and applied for a credit card, assuming I was going to purchase a package. At no point did I give consent for a credit card application. I am extremely upset about this. No business should take a customer's phone and apply for a credit card on their behalf without clear permission and consent. I would have given this business a better review had it not been for the pressure to spend $4k on a blue light machine. I was kept in an office for almost an hour on a sales pitch. Everything enjoyable about the facial was long gone after being asked to submit an in-house application for a program to be offered a machine for $4k that really costs $9k-$10k. Insane! After declining multiple times, different offers were made which were still obscene. I just wanted a facial and a place that I could come when I wanted. By their pressure tactics, they lost a customer and gained yet another bad Yelp review. read more

The staff was incredibly kind and professional, the spa was spotless, beautiful, and had a boutique luxury feel, and the treatment itself was amazing. Everything was explained thoroughly, and I could genuinely see a huge difference in my skin after the facial. I'll definitely be coming back, and I already booked more facials for the future. I also honestly don't understand the complaints about the consultation afterward I actually appreciated that they took the time to sit down with me, discuss my skin goals, and recommend what would work best for me. I visited at first time with trial deal on FB. I was looking for the place I can get facial regular basis. I liked my first facial, and after that aggressive solicitation start to sell the package. Which price was much higher than other places in Beach area. I bought a package of 3, paid over $500. I was looking forward to getting my facial monthly. However, my nightmare started from my 1st session of 3. They called you to reconfirm your appointment in weird hours. If you don't pickup they canceled my appointment right away, they didn't text me as an alternative. Then when I sent them messages to reschedule, their response time was extremely slow. Finally I got my rescheduled appointment, I had to wait 20 minutes to get my facial. And it was different esthetician, and I was very disappointed of her skills. And today is supposed be my 2nd session, I have confirmed appointment. However, they called 9:40pm a night before to change my appointment for later time. I can't believe how they operate. This business would not last long, I have to use rests quickly. Do not recommend this place. read more

Not impressed with Astra Aesthetics. Booked the promotional facial and felt like I was in a sales pitch instead of a relaxing experience. Over 30 minutes late. I finally asked how much longer I was going to have to wait indicating I was losing patience. The girl at the front desk was very sweet went to the back to speak with somebody and then they called me back and apologized for the wait time. The pressure was overwhelming, felt like I was trying to escape . Not gonna lie, it was pretty uncomfortable and left me feeling like I was in a high-pressure situation, not exactly the zen vibe I was looking for. During the facial, the therapist told me that she learned everything from YouTube and wow, I appreciate her enthusiasm and wanting to learn it made me wonder about the level of training and expertise she had received. The facial itself was okay, but I wouldn't say it was the best I've ever had. Might be good for someone looking for a deal, but not for me, won't be back ‍. read more

Felt More Like a Timeshare Pitch Than a Spa Visit I booked a facial here and Kimberly, who did the treatment, was great -- friendly and professional. The facial lasted about 40 minutes (shorter than promised, but fine). Afterward, I was sent to Audrey, who immediately tried to sell me a 3-pack chemical peel for $1,500. When I said I'd like to think about it, she quizzed me on other treatments ("What do you know about microneedling?") and, when I hesitated, said "I see you haven't done your research." When I mentioned talking it over with my husband, she asked, "Why? Aren't you your own woman?" She even calculated my other beauty expenses and suggested I drop them to buy her package. When I told her I'm a local hairstylist, her attitude flipped and she ended the conversation with, "You're my last appointment of the day, so let's just get out of here." The facial was fine, but the pushy, condescending sales tactics ruined the experience. Note: They also use the Avinichi brand name, which has a reputation online for high-pressure, overpriced sales pitches -- something I unfortunately experienced firsthand. read more

I should have done more research when coming here. These other reviews are on point. They called me the day before switched my appointment for an hour later which was ok but they push you to be early and when I got there they were running behind which I had to wait another 15 minutes. The facial itself was ok it was done very quickly and only lasted about 39 minutes. They then tell you to go in a room for a consultation which I again waited then was told to go in another room at that point I just wanted to pay and get out of there. The lady doing the consultation is more interested in selling her other products and procedures. I gave my honest opinion about the facial and I could tell she was bothered by it. Anyway save your money and just do your facial at home. read more

I booked a service with this establishment through a social media promo.The day of my appointment I ran into some traffic so I was running late.I spoke with someone at the location that asked my eta I told her and she said that would let the esthetician know.Upon arrival i'm told the business is closed but when I did a google search it said the business was open.I understand that when things happen and you don't arrive on time it can effect your service,but why wasn't I told this over the phone?I should have been told that' over the phone that is very disappointing to me.My advice if you are running ads on social media make sure your staff knows how to communicate and your business hours are updated on google.Very disappointed after a 40 minute drive. read more
