I have been getting my VI Peel from Tikkun for almost ten years because of superior service, customer courtesy, and better results than going to my previous dermatologist. The previous dermatologist I went to used his receptionists as Estheticians in West Los Angeles. One time the receptionist put only water on my face, and my skin was never frosted and did not peel. These facial peels are necessary to remove the scarring on my face after an auto accident where the left side of my face had to be reconstructed by a plastic surgeon. I confronted the dermatologist about this in West LA. Now this dermatologist was running away from me. I now go to Tikkun for all my skin needs and holistic health needs! Niki, the owner of Tikkun in Torrance was a breath of fresh air as I had many facial peels since 1990. I use the VIPeel facial system with Tikkun. The Estheticians are friendly and know what they are doing. They take the time to explain the procedures before treating you and explain in detail post-care treatment at home. They instruct you how to use the post-care packets with pads to work with VIPeel, skin moisturizer, sunscreen, and more. I have never had any problems with any facial peels from Tikkun estheticians. Some gave me their phone number and asked me to call if I had any questions. Tikkun in Torrance was getting new medical equipment, and Niki asked if I wanted to remove birthmarks from my face free of charge. It wasn't something I was not thinking. I never heard of such a machine before. In less than 15 minutes, birthmarks were gone. This medical equipment can also remove tattoos. I very much respect Niki with her husband Dr. Charles Schwarz, MD. Niki goes out of her way to make sure clients and patients feel comfortable in a medical environment. I highly recommend Tikkun in both Torrance and Santa Monica for your needs in beauty and holistic health. I just wanted to share I went to Tikkun Spa in Torrance for the first time today for injections. I had a super rough morning and ended up having to take both babies (under 2) with me to the appt for xeomin. The owner Niki and staff were so amazing. I was late and they were so understanding and I had both babies and they helped watch them while I got injections. Jessica Ko was the tech that did them for me and she was super gentle and very nice. They really went above and beyond. I honestly am in love with this place now and will be going back again for other treatments in the future. Azra is no longer here. She was wonderful, she was conservative with her approach and very successful. Sadly the last time I came, I learned this and still went ahead with botox. I was given close to 75 units, a droopy eyebrow and was covered in bruises. I was also told I needed at least 4 syringes of filler. I did not get the filler. I went to another place and the doctor told me that much filler could have caused long term problems.that doctor would only give me 1 syringe and I look fresh and natural! I've been to Azra for Dysport 3X's now and I'm very happy. She has a very gentle hand and I've never experienced bruising. They have promotions all the time and everything seems so cheap that first timers to this place (like me) would gladly drive for an hour to get cheap Botox. Well fool me once but never again! They water down their Botox so much that you will not see any results. I knew it was a bad sign when I was still frowning between the brows and lifting my forehead the same way a week after treatment. Save yourself the trip, and money, and go to that reputable injector who charges a few more dollars per unit. In the end, you'll be saving a lot more money and scowls because you'll actually see it working. read more

I had Botox at Tikkun 3x and it occurred to me that it must be a diluted version. I went in for my frown lines, and the aesthetician made me wait more than 45 minutes while she gave a heavy sales pitch to another customer , in front of me , for some supplements. That was a red flag. I was injected in my forehead and glabellar ( frown) , but my frown didn't go away. I came back and got more , still no effect, and when I mentioned it the 3rd time about 3 months later and received 30 units more, I finally got a result. It seemed cheaper than the Dr.'s office by about a dollar a unit, but in the end it ended up more expensive. I had a total of 50 units in my 11's plus what they used in my forehead, it seemed like lot and there should have been a result after the 2nd visit. I'm going back to the Dr. where I'm sure it's not diluted. The aesthetician also talked me out of Xeomen, but from what I 've read it's cheaper and just as good. It ended up being more expensive that the derm's office. read more

Michelle is one of the first faces you will see and she provides excellent customer service! She gave me a tour of the space. She made me feel welcomed and set me up for a great experience. Grace did my Korean glam facial and it was an indulgence - I loved every minute. I liked it more than your typical European facial. My skin looking incredible after the treatments. I also did the v steam. I was uncomfortable at first but got more comfortable and was able to relax. It was an interesting experience. I'm glad I tried it. I've been a customer of Tikkun for a little over five years. I get regular facials, botox and fillers. Spray gives the most amazing facials I've ever had. She not only treats your skin she also includes reiki with her facials which takes you to new levels of healing and relaxation. Once you have a facial with Spray you be hooked for life. I also see Azra for my botox and fillers. She always makes me look refreshed and younger and no one ever knows I've had anything done, she makes everything look natural and realistic. I recommend Tikkun frequently to all my friends, and clients. I felt compelled to write this review because I think that there is some misleading information when it comes to botox and people claiming that it gets watered down and does not last very long. Here's the facts. When you get botox you have to follow the instructions given. You can't be in extreme heat for 24 hours, no, steam, no sauna, no exercise. You could not get a facial afterwards. You must not lay down for at least 6 hours, you must keep your head up. If you increase your metabolic rate (exercise excessively) or have a high metabolism, it will cause the botox to metabolize faster in your body and not last as long. If you've been getting botox for a long time, try switching to dysport. You body and immune system are constantly changing and if you keep getting the same thing all the time your body starts to recognize the substance and build up an immunity. There is no such thing as cheap botox or watered down botox. Its all the same standard from the manufacturer. Before getting botox or fillers you need to research and become a smart and informed consumer. Know the contraindications. If you have an autoimmune disorder, consult your physician before getting any fillers or botox. All of this affects your results and longevity of the injections you get. read more
