Our TV is a 65-inch Sony Bravia (model XBR-65X850F) that we bought in 2018, and it has already been with us for eight years. When it broke down, we hesitated over whether to buy a new one or have it repaired. After a quick search on Yelp, we found Mr. Gao's information. He replied immediately after we messaged him and came to our house the very same day to inspect it.His initial diagnosis was a faulty mainboard. To be completely sure, he took both the mainboard and the power board back with him for a more detailed diagnosis. To make a long story short, two weeks later, he returned with a newly purchased replacement board, installed it back into my TV, and successfully fixed it! Since the boards for the 850F model are discontinued and no longer available on the market, he had to buy an 850G board as a substitute and modify it slightly to make it compatible with my TV. I am not professional enough to understand the exact technical details, but I am certain it took considerable time and specialized knowledge to pull off! I found the repair cost to be very fair--around 40% of what I originally paid for the TV. Some people might not find it worth it, but I am so glad I can keep using this TV instead of scrapping a perfectly working LED screen and creating a massive piece of electronic waste.

Ken was quick to acknowledge my request, and he let me in. There's a $25 diagnostic fee deposit, which goes toward the repair. Which, in my case, means soldering the cable back to the pin connector. Paid with a CC, and he asked for my contact and told me he would call me when it's ready. The next day, he called to tell me it's ready. And violaaaa, my record player works again! About a week later, my phone started acting funny (like it was possessed)... and then went black. I took it back in, thinking maybe something had been altered/accidentally knocked loose when my back screen was repaired, but was told that NO, it was a different issue. He replaced the front screen b/c my LCD had gone out and it was an electrical problem...and I was told that it was a very high quality replacement, and that my phone should be as good as new! ($300 ish this time). Two days later, before I had gotten around to getting another screen protector, my front screen cracked when I GENTLY TOSSED it into my gym back. No big drop, no hit with a hard object! In over 25 years of having a cell phone, I have NEVER CRACKED a screen! And before just dropping $450 on fixing it, I had never before been gentle on a phone. I have dropped, thrown, etc my phone and they are tough! So, I grit my teeth and have been living with a slightly cracked screen, which should not have cracked with what I did to it! Since the repair(s) my phone was also laggy, calls on WIFI were dropped, and internet worked about 60% of the time. Something was definitely wrong. THEN, this morning... out of nowhere, my phone dies again. Screen went black, and it still vibrates, so it is charged... but nothing happens. There is just no way that this is all coincidence. Everyone I have spoken and worked with at CIR provides knowledgeable and courteous service. The phone was fully functional when I dropped it off, and I was told there would be a delay because the replacement battery was coming from the East Coast. The repair was delayed for several days with little to no communication or meaningful updates. After receiving the battery, they disassembled my phone and later informed me that the phone was no longer functioning because there was now an issue with the board. I walked into this business with a working phone and left with what amounts to a paperweight. Even worse, I am now unable to retrieve any of the information or data from the phone. Regardless of what they believe caused the board issue, the fact remains that the phone was operational when I turned it over to them and completely nonfunctional after their repair attempt. The lack of communication, extended delays, and the condition in which my phone was returned are unacceptable. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend CIR Cerritos for phone repairs.
