I recommend using another shop for your phone repairs. I ended up using this shop because I was told I could have a part ordered and repair done the next day if I paid a deposit the day before. In the end, the part wasn't delivered the next day. I had to request updates. The part was only "delivered" after I asked for a refund if it didn't arrive soon. Of course by the time the part arrived, I saved no time at using this shop. The I received a defective screen. I contacted the shop - but because I was past the shops 1 month "warranty" period, she told me I would need to purchase a new screen. She didn't even ask to see the phone? There was no review done of her work, the screen, or even a search for the "damage" she said I caused to it. Please search for a shop that is reasonable in their time estimates, and offers a warranty better than 30 days. If it's too good to be true it probably is. read more

Life has been so busy that I had kept forgetting to update my review. So here it is! First things first, the place is under new management. Thank goodness! The new manager, Terry, had actually taken the time to message me to see if he could repair all the damages that has been done by the previous worker, Tony. Next, I had told Terry that the other guy had damaged my Fingerprint ID, my Siri, and my proximity. Unfortunately, I learned from Terry that once a screen repair is done incorrectly, the Fingerprint ID would not be able to work without the original pieces. Sadly, it wasn't salvageable. After the next day, Terry took the time to also fix my Siri. Unluckily, the repair for it would have normally be minor, but with my case after Tony it was not possible. The thing that sucks about IPhone screens is that they can break so easily. It's terrible for repairmen because they have no knowledge of what was damaged by the last person. With that said, my Siri was also unable to be repaired. However, my proximity sensor was grateful fixes. Terry told me to take the phone home to see if everything else was working fine. After replacement, I guess my screen started glitching on me. Terry took another day to take his time to really work on my phone. Each time, I stayed in to watch him work on my phone in front of me, which I really appreciated. Some places are shady when they do work behind a wall. Nonetheless, I believe my phone was just and unlucky lost cause. Apparently, there were problems with the motherboard of the phone that it also effected my battery. Even after Terry replaced my battery with 3 new and different batteries (free of charge for all the trouble that was caused by Tony,) my phone stopped working and didn't turn on anymore. As saddening as that was, I really appreciate all the time Terry put into trying to repair damaged that weren't even done by him. Most new owners that take over would never take the time to reach out to previous customers. Terry was honest, hardworking, and knowledgeable. He didn't have to do what he did, but he tried - offering free labor. Thanks again for the countless efforts! YOU MUST READ! (Especially f you're not knowledgeable about IPhones, this place is a FRAUD!) One day, out of desperation, I head over to this location since it had "great" reviews. I was greeted by a heavy set Latino guy who's name I do not recall. He seemed nice and told me my iPhone would be done in 30 minutes even though there was nobody ahead of me. Sadly, they had run out of white IPhone 5s screens, so he offered me a black iPhone 5s screen (which is probably ghetto) but I reluctantly approved since my izzislim case was black anyways. So, I left to run errands and came back. He had told me since my screen is a different color that he would take $10 off of the $90 he was originally charging me just to fix the screen. So, I thought to myself, "Okay, cool. Thanks." He then asked if I would write a review on him on Yelp. I told him I would, but I never got around to doing it until now. After I received my phone from him, it started acting weird. Firstly, my Fingerprint ID stopped working. Secondly, every time I was on the phone, my cheek would press buttons while on calls. I came in for a screen repair for a IPhone X Max. I had dropped my phone several times and the screen finally hit the dust. The screen would turn on and off. The display would stay black but I could still touch the buttons and navigate the Operating system. Just not being able to see what I was navigating. Anyway, I came in as a walk in, asking for price, and time to repair. The lady was very nice, direct, and straight to the point. The repair took around 15 minutes and it was $100 bucks. I brought my phone to this place almost two weeks ago to get the screen replaced when I brought my phone in everything was working fine the screen was just cracked. As my Phone is being fixed I hear the guy who's fixing my phone say "oh shit" as if he's made a mistake then he proceeds to ask me questions like "was everything working? And "did you do anything else to the phone? Which I already let him know the phone was working fine. He tells me one of the cables for my front camera was all Of a sudden damaged and that I'd have to come back in a couple days he's give me a call and he'd fix it well... it's been over a week and I haven't heard from him. I had an Iphone 6S that needed to be repaired. I checked with her to see what was wrong with it. I think her name is Jimai? I HANDED HER MY PHONE TO CHECK WHAT WAS WRONG WITH IT. (She didn't say there was a $20 SERVICE FEE) She said the battery is NOT working. I only had $25 bucks on me because I called a week prior to make sure it was the correct pricing. The guy told me it will be approximately $25. Turns out it was $50. Okaay? That's cool. I was willing to pay it BUT I only had $25 on me. She was willing to hold on to my phone. I told her I was going to come back to get ANOTHER $25. I DIDN'T end up getting the rest so I went inside the store to get my phone & she REFUSED. She said, "Oh it's okaay, just come back tomorrow!" UM NO B*TCH. Eventually I had to call the COPS to get my phone back. I even RECORDED HER GIVING ME ATTITUDE. I was nice to her since the beginning all she did was give me attitude. She was over there for 10 minutes with MY phone & who knows what she did with it. I'm PRETTY SURE she screwed with my phone. I viewed other yelpers & a few had a problem with her. IF SHE SCREWED UP MY PHONE, I'M TAKING HER TO COURT. I GOT THE WHOLE THING ON VIDEO SO IF YOU TRY TO DENY IT, I HAVE THE PROOF. This is the 2nd time I've had my iPhone screen repaired. This place is cheap. It's no frills. $65 for the front screen on an iPhone 4 ($70 for a 4S). Took about 1.5 hours from start to finish. 6 month guarantee on the parts - meaning that if the screen stops working for whatever reason, they'll replace it free of charge (this does NOT count intentional or accidental damage - meaning that it cant be all busted up to bits and you're like "Oh duuuude, but you said you'd repair it for free!") I took off a star given that I got lost because this place is literally in the corner of this tiny lot in a pretty sketchy part of LB. I won't lie, I was a little worried driving up (sorry, but I'm a sheltered asian girl that grew up in the suburbs... felt a little out of my element). Shady people... I brought my phone in to replace the charging port on my S5. To my surprise they were super busy and quoted everyone different prices (wrong) and although the tech was there yet, the gal at the front attempted to help me. I explained my issues and she said, "let's keep it charging here until the tech gets here." I asked for it back to close out a few things and when she handed it back to me the charger was wet. A drop of water literally fell from the phone as I unplugged it! The charger wasn't wet when I gave it to her, I had no liquids on me, and she hid my phone under the counter where the computer is "to charge it." I don't know where the liquid came from and she played dumb. I will never return and advise future customers to be very careful. My phone recently lost a (one-sided) battle with my car trunk--bits of shattered glass and 1/4 of my screen was just gone. I have an LG G2 and believe me, I was devastated. The screen would still turn on, but since the G2's digitizer is glued directly to the glass, the phone was no longer receiving any touch input. I found TC due to Yelp reviews, and though it was a little distance away for me, I figured that it would be my best bet. I had called a number of different places, all quoting me for about $110-$135 and with only a 30-day warranty. Terry of TC gave me the best price: $100 with a 6-month warranty, which I reasoned would cover me until I could get a new upgrade for my phone. Saturday afternoon I was doing my best to get over to Long Beach, but I wasn't sure I could make it by the 6pm closing time. I called and Terry let me know that if I got there by 5:40pm that he would stay and take care of it. True to his word, I got there at 5:45 (I'm chronically late to things!) and he STILL took care of my phone. In about an hour he had replaced the screen and to my happiness, the touch screen was working. However, there was still a bit of stutter and some lines showing up, but since the day had run so late, Terry let me know that he would get new parts by Monday and that I could come right back in. He also reassured me that it was likely NOT my device that was beyond repair--probably just the screen itself. So I came back in Monday, around 1:30pm, and Terry swapped my screen out again. The last issue that occurred was that though the image-stuttering was gone, I was still getting the occasional faint lines. Terry offered to call his partner store in Westminster and order another new part (flex connector, I think?) so that I could be 100% satisfied (Westminster was closer for me to drive to) and the partner store would honor my warranty as well. I agreed, and he made the call, but then with a bit more fiddling, lo and behold, the lines went away! With the 6-month warranty, though, and Terry knowing of my phone and it's situation, he told me to come back in anytime if the screen started acting up again. Terry was helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable, and his work ethic and determination to take care of his customers and their precious electronics is unparalleled. Thanks so much! read more

Dropped my phone off around 3pm yesterday, it was ready by 5 and looking great! Cheapest I have ever had my phone screen replaced for AND he looked at my stuck lock button free of charge. I don't know the man's name, but he was very helpful and seemed like he really knew what he was doing. A few things kept me from giving 5 stars... -there wasn't much organization, phones go inside a folded piece of paper and sit on the counter inches from where customers stand while they wait to be fixed/picked up. -Selling cases/ screen protectors would be nice.. I still have the cover the comes on the brand new screen on there because I was unable to purchase a new screen protector. -Last thing, he told me the card reader 'wasn't working'. but when I mentioned I would be using Credit, as yelp lists they are accepted... he said we could 'give it a try.' No trouble at all, didn't even say anything like "oh look it worked" just asked where I'd like my receipt sent.. felt to me like he just wanted to cash up front. -Parking lot isn't the easiest to access... not their fault, however. I called and I was greeted by Terry, who was very helpful on the phone, I explained to him that the LCD on GS 5 was destroyed, and I asked how it would, and without a stutter he said $180. I appreciate how honest he was, and what I liked is that when I got there I was helped right away and he answered every question and concern I had. After that was said and done he went over the process and that it would be done in half and hour. It wasn't exactly half and hour but I do t care about that, I'm just glad that the phone got fixed the same day. Terry also explained that his work is work is guaranteed , and if anything seems off he would fix it free of charge. I'm glad I found this little place, I still have an iPad and Nexus 7 that I want to get fixed and I will coming back here for the repairs. I really like my LG G2 phone, but the headphone jack had stopped working and the micro-USB port had worn down (from repeated use) to where jiggling the USB cord could interrupt charging and/or data transfer. I gave this business a call based on its positive Yelp reviews. Terry answered the phone and was very knowledgeable. He explained that the jack, the port, and the loudspeaker were all part of one replaceable unit. He gave me a quote over the phone and also set my expectation as to when the phone would be available (on the same day). The price and time estimates seemed fine so I decided to drop my phone off. I was not disappointed. I paid the price originally quoted and the headphone jack and USB port now work like new. All other features of the phone continue to work like before - in other words, nothing else was accidentally broken by this fix. I highly recommend them. Don't worry too much about the so-called "shady" neighborhood. There's a public school and a park with families playing in it nearby. They close at 7, so it's not like you'll be dropping by to pick up your phone at some dangerous time with unsavory characters lurking about. Give them a try! read more
