I contacted my provider and because of the damage, they said an upgrade would cost me $850+ all the fees/taxes. The agent actually suggested trying to get it fixed, which I was unaware was possible. I called CIR and they said since the camera lenses were intact, it would be $110. Jose worked on it for me. When I went to pick it up, he explained to me how he fixed it. I showed up with a new case and he put it on for me. Jose is professional, thorough, and is a nice young man. Everyone I have spoken and worked with at CIR provides knowledgeable and courteous service. Thank you for saving me not only hundreds of dollars, but also my data that sometimes doesn't get backed up and under gets lost when upgrading to a new phone. The phone was fully functional when I dropped it off, and I was told there would be a delay because the replacement battery was coming from the East Coast. The repair was delayed for several days with little to no communication or meaningful updates. After receiving the battery, they disassembled my phone and later informed me that the phone was no longer functioning because there was now an issue with the board. I walked into this business with a working phone and left with what amounts to a paperweight. Even worse, I am now unable to retrieve any of the information or data from the phone. Regardless of what they believe caused the board issue, the fact remains that the phone was operational when I turned it over to them and completely nonfunctional after their repair attempt. The lack of communication, extended delays, and the condition in which my phone was returned are unacceptable. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend CIR Cerritos for phone repairs.

When I called, I was told exactly what I had told them how the phone was acting. Clearly they had not looked at my phone at all. I asked what I next step was and the guy seemed puzzled. I even qualified for a free screen protector, which was a huge bonus. The entire staff was welcoming and professional, and everything was completed on time. My phone works perfectly now and has a brand-new screen protector as well. Quick tip: liquid screen protectors are not worth it. I had one, my screen still shattered, and the company didn't truly stand behind their warranty. Definitely use a physical screen protector on top of your screen--even if you have a liquid one. I thought I left it at home and was about to drive home on my lunch break to get it then realized I could just buy another one. Looked up local cell phone stores in the area and IQ appeared. They're located in the small shopping center across from Cypress College on the west side of Valley View, north of Public Storage. I called before I got there and asked if they had a magnetic charger and the owner said yes for $20. Showed up and the store is small and clean. There was one guy ahead of me and the owner acknowledged me and said he'd be with me in a few moments. I was fine. The magnetic charger I have is a lightning charger that connects to a USB-C cord, while the one the shop had was an apple approved cord that was connected directly to the magnetic charger. I connected it to a Sharge power bank and it worked, but slowly charged. My phone is older so it does heat up and I did ask how much it costs to replace my battery and he said $70, which Is $10 cheaper than the Apple store. Overall, great experience and if I'm in town and have time I'll get my battery replaced.
