I looked on the Apple website with what to do & they directed me to bring my device to an Apple certified repair store & I decided to go to Mobile Kangaroo. I've never previously been here before, so I came in with no expectations. Initially, I set my appointment time REALLYYY early & I did not feel like waking up to leave for it. Through their appointment-based texting system, it was extremely simple to reschedule to a later time or even reschedule to a different location if need be! There were no fees or anything to set/reschedule appointments & I truly loved how simple it was! I ended up coming in to the store at 12:50 PM & I was 10 minutes late, but Cristian & Ryan were extremely quick to help me & I did not have to wait at all even though I came a little late. The customer service was amazing & they were so helpful to explain whatever my issues & needs were! The service was quick & even though the time was quoted to be an hour, I got my IPad back in 30 minutes! I only paid $40 for the repair & considering the straightforward appointment scheduling, spectacular customer service, & efficient repair times, I would not hesitate AT ALL to come back for my tech repair needs! First time here and a great experience. I made an appointment yesterday through the Apple website because my iPhone was having charging issues. I had already tried cleaning the charging port myself with little success. When I came in this morning, I was greeted right away and explained the problem. Less than five minutes later, I had my phone back. The charging port was partially blocked with lint, which they quickly cleared out -- and they didn't charge me. Saved me while on a work trip!!! I was in Huntington Beach for a work event. While trying to keep my health routine while traveling, I got up early to go to the gym. I had a really frustrating experience with Mobile Kangaroo a while back. My Macbook Air was shutting off randomly, which was a huge problem since I was in the middle of my online program. I took it to them because they're an Apple Authorized Service Provider, and they told me they could help same-day which was much sooner than Apple's next available appointment. I needed it fixed ASAP for school. They checked it out, charged me, and then took an entire week just to give me a diagnosis. When they finally got back to me, they said my laptop was completely unresponsive--that it wouldn't turn on at all and that I'd need to buy a new one. That was obviously disappointing, but when I got home, I decided to plug it in and try turning it on again out of pure desperation... and it powered on immediately. It still had issues, but that made me seriously question whether they even looked at it. To double check, I took my laptop to Apple, and they found no record of it being worked on at all (Apple refers to this as "Parts and Service History," which logs any repairs or part replacements made on your device). That pretty much confirmed my suspicion that my laptop just sat in their shop the whole time, untouched. In the end, all I needed was a new battery--something Mobile Kangaroo never even mentioned. Instead, they told me my laptop was unfixable and that I should just replace it. They wasted my time when I could have been getting it properly fixed, took my money, and didn't even attempt to repair my laptop. I came back to talk to them and get a refund, but they refused. I should have disputed the charge in time. They seem to get great reviews so I'm unsure why my experience felt like I was scammed. If you're considering Mobile Kangaroo because Apple has a long waitlist, just go to Apple. It'll ultimately save you potential time, money, and unnecessary frustration. read more

When taking the phone, they were so honest and explained to me the possible outcomes. I was worried about losing my photos and everything was recovered. I am over joyed. 6/24 Needed a new battery for my iPhone. Reluctant to switch to an iPhone 14, since they are SO much heavier. Made an appt for Sat AM. Come to find out 3 people ahead of me also said they scheduled via Apple's website. None of their appt times were scheduled due to a glitch in Apple's server. They all had screen shots. Tip: Use the Kangaroo mobile site to make your appts. Those through Apple website won't record at Kangaroo's offices. Anyway, 1-1/2 hrs later, was able to pick up my phone with a new battery! Around $120. Be aware that there are usually 2 people working. On this Sat, the second employee was late. So she was taking care of the front desk while no one is working on repairs. Will return should my iPhone need repairs (before I bite the bullet & upgrade). It's so much easier than trekking to the mall & waiting with 50 other people. read more

I walked in this morning and there was one employee working, tall Asian woman, I did not get her name. She was with a customer when I entered so I was not greeted. I took a seat waited for her to finish with the customer and then she took the other customer who was there before me...still never said hi or acknowledged I was there..when she finished with the second customer she asked me if I had an appointment. I did not, which seemed to catch her off guard although there website states walk ins welcome...she said I have a few minutes before next appt but if they come in you will have to keep waiting. I explained my issue, she abruptly said that will be a $35 diagnostic charge, when I asked how soon that would happen she seemed bothered and said not today...I said thanks for your time and made an appointment elsewhere... read more

Horrible experience. I had an appointment I made with Apple support as iPAD was under warranty. The problem was the power cord would not stay in when it was plugged into the iPAD. Nobody was in the shop when I arrived and waited for 10 minutes for the technician to come out from the back. I explained the problem and he tried to plug in the power cord and said this was not covered under warranty as it needed to be cleaned. I explained I already looked with flashlight and nothing was in the charging port and blew out the port with compressed air and brushed out with soft brush. The technician said it still needs to be cleaned and I had to pay $35 for him to fix it. Frustrated I left and took the iPAD to the Apple Store and the technician took the iPad to the back and did a diagnostic and checked the charging port and said the port was bad and that Mobile Kangaroo should have been able to see this as there was nothing that needed to be cleaned and replaced my iPAD a new one. Mobile Kangaroo completely wasted my time and gas to drive over there. Do not waste your time, go directly to the Apple Store not a third party service provider. read more
