The Gray Phantom: A brown ale with 7% ABV hit the spot. Nice balance of roasted malt and a slight caramel sweetness, without feeling heavy. It had a smooth finish and is a safe try for first-timers. I doubt I'd get the same thing twice though. Service: No issues from my POV. I ordered a beer and I got it in under 30 seconds. The prices were decent, and the guy was nice. Ambiance: Located in a quiet spot in town, the brewery definitely stuck to its namesake by giving it a relatively concerning prison-like feel from the outside, while maintaining an eerie red hue on the inside. The place seats about 30 people. One side has a more active segment, where you have an arcade, and the other side is a more traditional bar. I believe there is also a spot that sells food outside the bar, but I could've just been seeing things.

The vibe is a vampiric red lit little dungeon, at night. And I'm all in . Anaheim is one of the most competitive beer scene cities in Southern California and it's safe to say that Asylum Brewing, definitely hangs with the best of them. If you want beer, they're punchy hazy. IPA beers , as well as their light beers. Decent stout, except for their curry stout. But their beer cocktails are out of this world. And if you're looking to get an extra bite on your beer, you can accompany it with their house, tequila and sake. Service was fantastic. I'd circulate and stop by this location if I was looking for anyone else. Oh they also have pinball machines. Truly a great find.

Finally made it out to this brewery for their vegan food fair, and I'm so glad I did! I've been wanting to check out the new location since I used to go to their previous one--and wow, it's a completely different vibe. I loved their old spot. It was dark and moody, which made sense for a place called Asylum Brewery. It had that edgy, underground feel. The new location? Total opposite--and I love it just as much! It's bright, open, and even family-friendly with video games, comfy sofas, and awesome artwork throughout. Despite the change in atmosphere, one thing stayed the same: top-notch beer. Plus, there's plenty of street parking which is always a win. Can't wait to come back!

My friends and I went here to celebrate his birthday. It's a chill place with a brewery and games for entertainment. They don't sell food but they have outside vendors. Service was quick. Beer selection was limited but enough. Moscow mule was tasty.

Come and enjoy some of Anaheims favorite beers from the asylum Brewery. Friendly staff very welcoming. kid and pet friendly. Free WiFi , hours vary depending on the day. They also have a great selection of beers to go . The atmosphere is great. Pinball games are available to enjoy while enjoying your beverage. Hot dogs available with a full pour while supplies last. Come and enjoy . They also have 3 big screens TV to watch sports. Hope my review will bring you out and have a great time with friends or just to have a simple beer with you hotdog.

Cool spot with good beer. Our beer passport brought us here. It's close to where we live so will definitely come back. However, that being said we came in a Friday night and there's no food :( so we're just having our one beer and then will be leaving. Hubby and I came with the kids and PSA to other families, this one isn't the most family friendly. We're cool with the decor (we all love it) but the problem is not a lot of kid friendly seating. Plus it's a small space and it's our first time here so we didn't realize there isn't anywhere for the kids to run around. That doesn't knock anything off my rating but just an FYI for the other families that like to bring their kids to the brewery as well :) that being said, I'll still be back! But will have to make it an adults only spot for us and will make sure to check if food is being served the night we're coming since so we can plan accordingly! Would still recommend, great beer, good vibes, and seems like a fun spot.

Asylum brewery is a few steps away from Anaheim Packing House. Well more like a block next to the park. So in my opinion this place had some of the best service in the area. A small brewery but the Aslyum theme definitely carries out into the beers. A number of pinball machines for you to play. The staff here was great especially as I did not know what I want. Being a light beer drinker in a craft brewery has its fair share of difficulties however the bartender offered samples and guided me through. They recommended a Dark Lager which was Amazing! This southern Germanic style beer was delicious and was so nice to find out here. The customers were great as there was a raffle going on and it felt like the local community was included. Met a few furry friends along the way as well. In regard to the beer itself, some of the best I have had in this area surrounding the Packing House. The names themselves are clever if you take a look at the menu photos provided. Flights are available on the menu. This is nice as a lot of breweries in the OC don't even offer this option. The red lighting definitely ads a unique touch to this small space. No kitchen but they have food vendors outside that are always available for your hunger cravings.

Canned beer is good. Service is fun and nice. I like how they have pinball machines. Unique brewery. Horror ambiance.

Visiting home for the weekend and this place was recommended to us by staff at Everywhere--great…read morerecommendation indeed! Great beers, great customer service, and yummy food! My mom is not a craft beer drinker and staff took care of her giving her samples of beer to her pallet. Much appreciated of that. For a brewery--this place has great food options. Unfortunately they were only serving their appetizers and I will admit I was sorta bummed until the food came out. We tried the mozzarella sticks (9/10), chicken bites (1000/10...get these), popcorn (made my mom happy), and hummus plate. We were all satisfied. Would definitely recommend this place and will be coming back!

Pull into the parking lot but not big by any means, there's a few spaces, not more than a handful though. We were fortunate that as we pulled in, someone had just started on their way out. Enter the building and it's quite inviting. To the right there was a sort of entertainment space where families are most definitely welcome. Making our way through the hall, you'll enter the main area where you'll find a fridge with cold ones ready for a grab and go. Just ahead is the counter where we were greeted by friendly staff. Grab a menu and place your order. They've got a nice range of food and of course beers. We decided to keep it simple and try some light finger foods to snack while we sipped on our brew. Cauliflower and beer battered fries were both perfect. Light, crisp and delicious. I'm definitely looking forward to another visit and bringing an appetite. Good beer, friendly staff, great tasting food and family friendly. I dig it.

They have a huge location with a large parking lot, however note that this does fill up. Especially during weekends, big games, etc. We came on a Sunday during a game AND movie night, but were able to secure a place to park with some patience. Again, the place is huge. They had two bars open AND a booth outside selling canned drinks. There is lots of seating inside and outside. It was honestly hard for me to wrap my head around the size of the place! I also liked that they had multiple restrooms around the building. They have a very impressive beer and seltzer collection. You can get various sizes or a whole pitcher for the table. You do order food outside separately at the X Eats area. This is a food truck setup, but they did have an impressive amount of options. Food took a little while (understandable given the volume of people there), but it came out hot and fresh. The pizza had a nice flavor that featured jalapeño and pineapple. They also had a featured dessert that was a banana egg roll with ice cream and a wonderful ube syrup. Overall, I had a great time and would love to come back again!

The brewery itself is huge with tons of seating inside and outside, yet it still somehow feels crowded all the time. The outdoor area is nice with string lights and a big projector screen for games, which makes it a fun spot to hang out. Great for large groups, parties, and celebrations. They have pretty good food too. The pizza is a highlight, though ordering a whole pie takes a long time. Beer selection is wide, though personally I'm not a huge fan of a lot of their beers. I still keep coming back more for the atmosphere than the drinks. A lot of my friends like their seltzers, especially the popular huckleberry one. The workers here are always super chill and friendly. They genuinely seem happy to be there and bring good energy to the place. Overall, it's a solid brewery with great vibes. They just really need to do something about the parking.

Service can be a hit or miss. It seems like they are often confused about whose table is whose or that there isn't really assigned sections for servers which means sometimes it takes forever to get our orders in. Luckily on our last visit our server Mike was extremely attentive. They have a newly redone kids area which is nice for families. They play sound on the TVs for the World Cup. Definitely super super busy when there's an angel game - avoid if you're not attending because they charge to park in their parking lot and it's impossible to find street parking on those days
