Back in December, AT&T was offering a promotion where you could receive up to $800 per line for switching. Based on what I qualified for, I was expecting to receive $2,205.63. In order to switch, I paid $2,530.60 out of pocket and put it on my credit card, assuming the reward would help cover that cost. I submitted all my receipts in December and received confirmation that they were received. When I followed up in January, I was told they needed additional information. Getting that information from my previous provider turned into a long and frustrating process, but I finally had the documents mailed to me in February and uploaded them as requested. After uploading, I never received any confirmation or update. When I called today, I was told the documents I submitted were still not sufficient and that I needed to provide even more information. I was then transferred to a manager (which I didn't request), who told me that my claim is now marked as "expired" and that nothing can be done to change it. At this point, I'm out $2,205.63. That's a significant amount of money, especially right now, and this whole process has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. There is an update to the cellphone service that must be paid for in advance from Cricket wireless. The unlimited talk, text, and internet appears to be very limited in nature. It is very hard to listen to someone in Asia tell you your cellphone service is fine when family members are trying to respond to text messages and you are not receiving the messages at all. When cellphone service is having issues and everyone can see it with the exception on Cricket Tech Support that is located in Asia, please do not get offended if the upcoming payment is adjusted to reflect the services received vs. what is supposed to be provided. I only give AT&T one star because Zero is not an option. It nearly took an act of Congress, the Better Business Bureau, contact with the President's Office of AT&T, and 2 whole afternoons at Verizon in Tonopah, AZ, at the TA Truckstop, but we are finally free from AT&T and their horrible service here in the West Phoenix Valley. I called AT&T headquarters today for one of my customers. She is disabled and lives on very limited income. She was scammed by a person who got her personal account info and somehow was able to use a fraudulent credit card. He ordered iPads and iPhones. Our store had one of these dropship boxes returned. So we notified our customer, that's when she broke down and told me what happened. She filed a police report and told me AT&T charged her account and they hold her responsible. She tried returning the unopened iPads and iPhones and was told they would only give her 500.00 back on each one. He then told her to get out of his store. I felt so bad I told her I would report them and try to help her. I was put on hold several times hung up on 3 times. We signed on with AT&T to move into fiber in Cleveland and it's been one problem after another. From the start, promises weren't kept: We were told we'd have a dedicated point person -- that never happened. We were assured our copper bills would "come in line" during the transition -- instead, they skyrocketed. We got repeated threatening calls during the process, even though we were following their instructions. Ironically, we never had those kinds of calls when we were just on copper. Their "customer service" pretends to be all concerned ( they are not in the least ) .. and the repair person they send out to repair does nothing but pretend to be investigating the issue and is actually just adding the time so they look like they are working to be paid their hourly wage. I was treated very rudely by a male associate at your AT&T store located at 714 E. Hwy 377 in Granbury, Texas on Jan. 27, 2025 I went to the store to return a new phone that I no longer needed. I had the receipt, the phone, the cord but did not have the box that the items came in. The associate said everything was in order but he would not take the phone back unless I had the box. I asked to speak to the manager and the associate called the manager who was off-site. The associate told me that the manager told him not to accept the phone without the box. I asked the assoicate if I could speak to the manager and he told me "NO". Because I have a severe hearing disability, I leaned closer so I could hear him more clearly. He told me to get out of his face and leave the store. I thanked him and left the store. I am 80 years old and am still shocked at how I was treated. I then drove three miles away to another AT&T store in Granbury and the associate there told me there was no issue with returning the phone without a box. He credited my credit card and was very polite and helpful. The next day (28th), I returned to the first store to tell them that I had returned the phone at another store and wanted to speak to the manager about how rude the two male associates had treated me. The manager was not there so I spoke to a very pleasant female employee. As I was explaining the situation to her, one of the male associates from across the room yelled out "that is bullshit". Other customers heard him and were shocked to hear such loud profanity. I asked the female employee if she would have the manager to call me. She took my number and said she would have him to call me the next day. I waited four days and have yet to receive a call from the manager. On February 11, 2025, we signed up for AT&T FirstNet at an event sponsored by AT&T. During that meeting, the rep assured us that: FirstNet service would be superior, with priority access to cell towers, eliminating dropped calls and coverage issues. We would receive a $200 event credit for participating in the table event. Our monthly bill would match the quoted rate she provided. Unfortunately, since switching to AT&T/FirstNet, the opposite has been true: Severe coverage issues - I work for local city government and have zero reception in my office. My son, also a first responder, experiences poor coverage often in SOS mode. We never had this problem with our previous carrier. $200 event credit never received - Despite repeated follow-ups, no one at AT&T has honored this. Billing is $100/month higher than quoted - This has never been explained or corrected. Broken communication - The rep who facilitated the event has stopped responding altogether, leaving all promised resolutions unaddressed. This is not only a breach of trust but an insult to the first responder community, who were targeted with promises that AT&T has failed to honor. I am sharing my situation with others so you will be informed. I was having a water pressure regulator installed on July 20, 2024. While digging, the plumber cut the AT&T fiber optic cable. AT&T sent someone out the same day to repair it. However, that did not happen because as the tech explained, they should have initially protected the wire with a PVC pipe and there should've been a conduit installed so it could be repaired. Therefore, he had to submit a ticket to have the wiring reinstalled (this means a start from scratch situation!). I received a message from AT&T the following day, scheduling the reburial and it stated it would be ON or BEFORE July 29, 2024 (see pic). The local utility company came out immediately and marked the appropriate areas. I am writing this review on July 30, 2024. There has been no sign of any company at my property. I contacted AT&T yesterday (the deadline) and they informed me that first, it was just an estimation date; second, it is against their policy to give out the number of the vendor doing the install (so AT&T does NOT even do the work); third, they could not tell me anything about when the vendor was coming or not...NADA; fourth, company policy to give out no information on completion and I should receive something from the vendor (what? Haven't heard from the vendor, just AT&T vouching for them NOT showing up!! So here is what I want consumers to get out of my experience. If you are able to get your fiber optics from another company (i.e., Google) then do so because if anything ever happens with your AT&T wire, you are at their mercy. I tried to find another company but they are the only ones in my area. I believe they have it spaced out like this on purpose. They are all working together in some way so no one (1) company has a monopoly. Another thing to get out of my experience is the name of the subpar vendor. They are RAM TELECOM, LLC. Now you know their name and know they are unprofessional and unreliable. I have no idea when I will be back online. I have had to buy more hotspot Gigs from AT&T. I also have a disabled mother I care for who is tired of watching DVD movies! I hope this review helps someone make an informed decision if they are thinking about getting internet through AT&T and using RAM TELECOM, LLC for anything in the future!! If you do decide to use AT&T, be there when they install and be sure they are protecting the wire and build a conduit for future repair. Never had such terrible customer service ever at Carson City, Nevada location. My elderly mother called to try to get help with her phone. This location provided the wrong information. When we called back to get some more help. The extremely rude individual said " I already gave you that information " and disrespectfully hung up on us. Switched from Tmobile due to coverage issues. I activated four phones and have ATT internet. The CS Rep could not get my Veterans status added to the account and was told to call back once the Cellphones were activated. I have called and went to the ATT store and am still unable to get the discount. Approximately 10 calls, 8 hours on hold just to be told that they couldn't get it to go through and call back in a couple of days. read more

Worst customer service ever b my an company. First charged me for a phone not order then charged me for a hotspots for over five months and only refunded three months at half of the actual charge. Looking for a new carrier. read more

CAUTION - DO NOT USE AT&T - Unauthorized Financial Transactions and Repeated Fraud from AT&T! Please do not partner with AT&T for your cell phone or internet services. I have experienced ongoing fraudulent activity by AT&T involving unauthorized drafts from my personal financial accounts (Checking Account and Credit Card). AT&T has repeatedly drafted funds from my financial accounts for a service account not affiliated with me. I believe this is internal theft. Initially $220.39 was stolen from my checking account. In the most recent incident over $600.00 was stolen from my credit card. I was informed by Michelle Goth (g31285@president.att-mail.com) from the AT&T Presidents Office (Contact: 1-858-522-8843) on a recorded line, that there was nothing she can or will do about this issue! In a prior call, I spoke with Frank Williams - whose only solution was to offer an account credit. AT&T representatives refused to stop the fraudulent activity. My checking and credit card accounts continue to be vulnerable to unauthorized drafts. Each of my accounts have subsequently experienced security breaches. AT&T is protecting the identity of the fraudulent account holder, or AT&T team member, while leaving me exposed to financial risk. I reside in a community that has a contract with AT&T preventing me from using a different vendor. Michelle Goth refuses to provide the CEO or CFO's contact information or release the recorded phone calls to the Better Business Bureau. Now, I am forced to take legal action. AT&T is scamming people now. we had an account set up with auto pay to pay with a credit card for a $5 discount. Suddenly AT&T changed my account and is now charging me that $5, with no notice to me at all. I called AT&T to inquire why, they said that banks are charging AT&T for credit card payments and did not want to do that. Banks have always charged the same amount for credit card transactions so this is a lie. Now AT&T wants to use my banking account for auto pay instead of a credit card to get that same $5 discount. This they changed without notice (I did not get the email the agent claimed was sent to me related to this change) In March my bill went up by $8, in April the bill went back down to its regular amount, and now in May the bill went back up . I am attaching a record of past payments. read more
