The internet itself was good. In the 5+ years I had it, I had no issues. The customer service is terrible. You first have to go through a computer AI support (terrible) before you can get to a human, which is based overseas. They struggled to understand me making me repeat myself multiple times. There response time and handling of service requests is also terrible. I was recently having work done on the outside of my house and the wire was accidentally cut. I had to wait 6 days to get someone out to repair it. I wasn't happy but it was my fault but luckily the contractor was able to splice it so I still had Internet. They came out, "fixed" it and left. An hour later, the internet still had not come back up so I called. I was told I'd have to wait another 6 days before they could come back out and try again. IMO the service tech should not have left until confirming it was working that failing they should have made me a priority since it was their failure. I understand employee shortages but their are methods of putting schedules together to bake in time for high priority calls. Needless to say I found another provider that was able to squeeze me in 2 days later. read more

Kill Me! I say kill me now! ( Not literally) but wtf!!!! I called 5-7xs and asked about my caller I.D. You know what 5 out of 7 told me?! That my home # is my caller I.D and 1 of them out of the 5 told me his employee number as my caller I.D. . Slap them silly and call me crazy! The other you wanna know how that went? Well one put me on hold for 45 mins. The other she did know 89% of what she was talking about but after we parted ways it all went South. Nothing she told me to do was on my tv. No channel 9900, also the new updated direct equipment doesn't have the caller I.D app Honestly these are overseas call centers or they are here on a visa Work program. Just received my self install kit for internet to only be told now that if I don't have a home phone through att that I cannot set up my internet by self through just having a dsl cable. Thanks for wasting my time att now I have to wait till Wednesday because a service tech must do the install which I would of set up earlier if I would of known prior. If they can't set up my internet by wed then I'll just go somewhere else to get internet. Oh and another thing, they told me $50 a month for up to 100mb download speed and 1 terabyte of data over the photo but when I was on the phone with the service writer she told me My plan was $50 a month for up to 25mb download. Absolutely amazing service. Easy to manage services online. Installers were nice and very helpful. They didn't trash my walls or lines like the company I had prior did. Also I am getting twice the speed, and channels for less than what I use to pay as an employee at the local cable company. Connectivity and speed tests show we are getting more than 100 mbps and that's wirelessly testing it from two floors above where the modem is. The local company says they can only go by a hard line test. I highly recommend this place, my mom, my aunts, two neighbors and myself are extremely happy. read more

I have not had a good start with this company. I want my old number to stay in service. I was given a temp number. Was promised by the company I would have it in service on a Monday. Monday came no old phone number. Called I promise it will be on Thursday same week July 14. No phone number switched yet. Both times they claim technical difficulties. Now they claim it will be July 19. I have a husband with multiple health issues. I don't even give your service a one star. If I would of known I would have this problem I would of went to a cell phone for home instead of a land line. Your service sucks. Very unhappy with this service. read more

I signed up for the bundle package in August. They offered a good price for internet, direct tv and home phone. In addition, I received "an exclusive offer" based on my credit rating for a 250 dollar gift card. Things started off poorly when the techs arrived. The Direct T.V personal refused to coordinate with their A T &T counterparts. Shortly after they all left, all three services crashed. I waited over the weekend for a tech support employee to come out. Things improved. This special tech guy was superb. He simplified things for me, was understanding and gave me a bigger remote reserved for seniors. I inquired twice on the phone about when my gift card would arrive in the following months. I was informed the account had to be in good standing for a period of time and was assured my account was. After over 4 months, I called again. This time, I was told my account had never been signed up for the gift card and it was now too late for me to receive one. After I threatened to write a negative review, I was moved up the corporate food chain 4 times. Each supervisor told me I had to talk to a different department. I was assured on the last transferred call that I would be talking to a senior personal how would fix the problem. Much to my disgust, I was told I would be transferred again. I told them I was done talking and that unlike them I would adhere strictly to the contract that I had signed but after it expires, I was through with their company and their false promises for services provided. I also found out I had to buy an extra 11 bucks a month insurance on the equipment or I would be responsible for damages. This was never disclosed at the beginning. read more

I want to share my Atnt experience with everyone! It'll be a long story. We decided we wanted Atnt U verse 50mbs internet, so we called to have them install it! FIRST problem. My wife observes the the tech pull in, he hopes out his van, and sticks a "sorry we missed you" sign on the door never even knocked. So we call a new tech comes out same day hooks us up. Our plan is supposed to be 50mbs internet with some bullshit phone bundle for 60 dollars a month plus 30 bucks for 3 months for installation. SECOND problem! I run diagnostics in the Internet I'm only getting 5-8mbs. So again I call, they say "oh so sorry" (insert Indian accent) we only offer 18mbs in your area! I shit you not he says "it should be as good as the 50mbs but your bill is actually only 40 a month! So I say ok you guys are piers but I need Internet so screw it. THIRD problem bill comes in 2 weeks later 108 dollars! WTF? Right? We call, so sorry it's 60 a month plus 20 for phone (that was included previously) and 30 connection! I curse them a little yes who wouldn't? They "suspend" services and tell me I must pay! I ask for a supervisor.They assure me a supervisor will be in contact! FORTH problem. 5 days later after no call, I call them again, and finally speak to a supervisor! He says "so sorry" (Indian accent) I can take 10 dollars a month off! Out of anger I ask to be disconnected! Sooo my wife and I discuss, it's either them or buckeye I call them back apologize and say I want to keep my service! "Ok sir" (Indian accent) I mention the deal me and the supervisor struck, they say "oh no records of that, want a supervisor to contact you?" I say Hell no just take my money! FIFTH problem next day no services, I call.... "So sorry" (Indian accent) something went wrong we will have a tech out to you TOMORROW. I take a deep breath say thank you! SIXTH problem I call to verify tech will arrive TODAY I hear "so sorry" that's not documented... Do you have a reference number? I see here you requested your services turned off! I can get them on for you and have a tech out by Wednesday!?!?!? I seriously think I have never hated a company more!
