The service and speed are great, I pay for 350 Mbps speed and can easily hit over 300 most of the time. The problem is with the BLOCKING of certain IP addresses that they deem not important. As of today they are blocking certain Russian IP addresses or ranges [I'm not sure of ranges]. read more

Our service started out fine as we had the 250 mbps package but over time it has just deteriorated and now we can barely get 10 mbps. Don't get an apartment that has a contract with suite solutions because that's how they make all their money, by locking apartments and renters to suite solutions so you have no choice but to buy this crappy internet. I am paying 82 dollars a month for 10 mbps on a GOOD day. We are looking to move out as soon as possible and I recommend everyone else seeing this never have to go through this. This is the absolute worst service. Do not waste your money on this internet or cable unless you want to reset your internet all the time and watch TV with a blue screen popping up every few seconds with a 'Partial Signal Loss' message. The cable is much worse than the internet. It loses signal during drizzle, wind, rain, snow, heat, humidity, or when a butterfly flaps its wings outside your window. I had to use this company for a couple of years, due to no others available options and it never was good from the start. Had multiple service calls. The installer was always rude to me. They disconnected my service when I set up for auto pay and THEY failed to take the payment out. When I called to disconnect today, they were rude and told me it will be 8 to 10 weeks to get my check for the money they owe me for the credit. SOOOO glad to be done work them!!! This is the first review I have ever written, but Suite Solutions has been so terrible, I have to write a review. The first day they were supposed to arrive to install my internet, the technician went to the wrong apartment. I called them a day later and rescheduled the appointment for a later date. I called two days before the next appointment to confirm the appointment. I was told I had not scheduled another appointment. Their system did not show anything about my prior phone conversation. I scheduled an appointment at that time for a couple days later. I called to confirm the appointment a few minutes before the time window for installation. I was told that yes, they would be there between 12 and 2. When they didn't show I called to determine why. I was then told the technician was off that day due to illness. I was speaking with Vivianna who told me she didn't know why I didn't receive a phone call about the situation because they called everyone that the absence pertained to for the day. She said my account wasn't pulled up by their system. I then spoke to a supervisor, Kim, because I had to have internet for work the next day. Although she was nice, she was not able to help me. Fortunately, I learned my apartment complex now allows us to use another internet provider. I contacted them and had fiber optic internet the next day. I called back to cancel my internet appointment with Suite Solutions and was told I was being charged a $25 fee for not being home when the tech came to install my internet on a day I was not aware they were coming. The tech did not call me nor was a note left on my door stating he had ever been here. When I told Kim and Vivianna this, they both said their system said someone was here. They would not ever consider the fact that their system was wrong, even though their system did not pull up my account when they were notifying people about their ill tech. If I could rate this company zero stars, I would. I was forced into getting internet through them since my apartment complex is contracted with them. Ive only been with them for a couple days, yet there has been so many problems, including the internet going out several times and having to pay for internet on days that my internet service wasn't even installed yet. I called them to let them know that my internet wasn't working and they asked me if I could just simply go get another modem. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? The modem i4 days old, had 5 star ratings, and is on their approved modem list. Yeah let me just go buy another $60 modem... Needless to say they are terrible and don't move into Lakes at Woodmont unless you want to get stuck with them. Update: it is now week 4 or 5 and I'm still having the same issues. I have never cared enough to review anything on Yelp before, but I am happy to leave this one. I, like others, was forced to go with this horrible company when I moved into a new complex. Initially I was told that I could sign with ATT but that was false and now I am stuck. I have been contracted in to internet providers before, but nothing has ever been this bad. I am paying $60 a month for "12mpbs" internet, and some basic cable channels that I could care less about, they are grainy anyway. Its possible that those speeds exist, but my speeds are never higher than 5mbps when I am home, and often they are lower (at the time of this review 2.7mbps) And my connection is frequently lost, a fact that customer service's response was "We can not guarantee our service during peak hours, or when connected to a router, or any wifi device". Comcast offers better service for cheaper locally. And to be honest, despite the horror stories I have heard, I would go with them in a heartbeat, even if it was $20 more! The company is greedy and tries to find any way to nickle and dime you to do a simple upgrade of service or over the phone bill payment. Rather than schedule a service tier upgrade with a new monthly bill amount at the next billing date they will repeatedly try to ram through an immediate upgrade with bloated prorated fees attached. We moved from Colorado (had to use Comcast there because of property management) to Indiana to a rental where we are only allowed to use Suite Solutions--again, property management rules. As a couple working remote full-time in the tech industry (and we do not use cable-only streaming services) we chose the internet only package with the highest performance. Since the beginning of July, we have had some kind of service issue at least once a week. Additionally, when service was out for over 30 minutes, I tried to log into the customer portal and was told my user ID does not exist. We had to have a technician reset our connection and they had a supervisor reset my login...which still does not work properly. We pay $80 for 100mbps, but it is constantly going out in the middle of the day. I have started to log the date, time and issue to be able to provide this to BBB or Attorney General, if necessary. Obviously, they have enough poor reviews (even at BBB, their score is not great) people who have a choice can see they should go elsewhere. But what about those of us who are forced to use Suite Solutions because of some agreement with our property management? How do we fight so we can pick our provider and not be stuck with this shoddy service? read more

The service was fine for the time that I was a client. When I moved out of the complex that had service with Suite Solutions I turned in all of my equipment to the leasing office as I was instructed. I never got a refund on the overage I had paid, and three months later got a bill for unreturned equipment. After a few hours of phone tag with Suite Solutions and my old apartment manager, it turns out that their techs collect cable boxes, but don't bother to collect old modems. They charged me $60 for a modem that I returned that their lazy tech didn't bother to scan into the system and refused to fix the issue. I had to do my own detective work to locate equipment that I already turned in. Oh, and I should mention that, according to my apartment's leasing manager, there were "eight or nine" other routers in the closet that hadn't been collected. That might be another 7-8 clients who have similarly been defrauded by SS failing to scan in its own equipment. As I work from home, it crashing every day, 4 times a day, it absolutely ridiculous. They are incredibly rude over the phone and never are willing to help in full when we call. All they do is send someone out, then the person tells us nothing is wrong, and then they leave. And that's it. Never anything more. Suite solutions is a pathetic excuse for an ISP. They've had multiple internet outages over the course of more than a week, outages sometimes lasting entire days. Customer service knows nothing and tells you nothing. This is clearly some country-bumpkin operation, as the customer service woman I spoke to sounded like a human cigarette who couldn't care less if my internet was working. I almost never write reviews simply because I only think about it when a service is bad which doesn't seem fair however in this case I feel it is my duty to warn others. Suite Solutions has proven to be the worst ISP that I have ever worked with at either the home or enterprise level. To be fair and start on a positive note when their internet service is working it works pretty well, it is a little overpriced for the speeds they offer but recently they reduced their prices to something a bit more reasonable. That being said, service goes out quite a lot. For the past month my service has gone out for between 30 minutes and 8 hours nearly every day. When I contact customer support they tell me there is an outage at my property and a technician is on site working on it. When I ask for a bill credit they say they will have to refer me to the billing department who will give me a call however I never receive a call, when I ask to be transferred directly, that department is always closed at that time. This is not a new issue, I have lived in this apartment complex for four years now and at least once a year I go through something similar. Over my stay here I have been told that it would take 14 days for a technician to do a service call, that 0.01Mbps upload is acceptable because they offer UP TO 5Mbps upload, and that after they apologized because their auto pay system didn't work for a month they were going to need to charge me a fee to set my service back up and that if I missed another payment they may not allow me to use their service anymore. All that to say their customer service is not knowledgeable at all and is quite honestly the rudest that I have worked with. I stay in this apartment complex for reasons I don't need to go into here but my warning to all is that if you are signing a lease somewhere and you find out that the complex is going to force you to use Suite Solutions just turn around and walk out the door, it is not worth it, I hope they offer some really nice kickbacks to the property managers because otherwise I do not understand how they stay in business. read more

The internet is the only service I get, but it's so unreliable! It's in and out all the time and since sometimes I need to work from home it's beyond frustrating. I use up all the data from my phone plan in the first bit of the month because of how unreliable it is. It costs me money on top of the monthly amount because of the need for more data and the inability to get things done at home! We can't do any of our streaming for YouTube or Netflix or anything which we waste money on hoping we can watch it! If there was any other option that was faster than 18Mbps, I would gladly pay more for reliable and fast internet service. We have considered moving for this very reason. The only other option at our apartment complex is AT&T with a max rate of 18Mbps and is $50 a month. That's a steep price for slow internet. I'm so frustrated with this stuff! read more

When we moved in I was told our apartment community "works with" Suite Solutions. That turned out to mean that Suite Solutions has achieved an exclusive contract with the company. No other internet providers are allowed in. This allows Suite Solutions to not have to worry about any competition. Which means Suite Solutions doesn't worry about the quality of their service. We paid for their "Platinum" internet plan. We immediately noticed that our speed was never close to what they claimed it would be. "Up to 12mbps" turned out to mean "Maybe 7mbps if no one else is home and online in the complex." We down graded to the "Gold" internet plan, advertised as "up to 6mbps" this turned out closer to the truth. However, after only a few months at this level the service began to drop to 0.5mbps, and that is where it stayed. We did call and complain. Set up a visit from their tech on a Thursday for the following Tuesday. We waited around all day under worry of a $50 no show fee if we weren't home. After waiting all day, we called and found out the tech wasn't coming because he knew it was a issue on the property and not in our unit. We waited for that to be fixed. It never was. After waiting a few weeks, we called again to see the status of that repair. At that point we were informed there was no known issue on the property and the speed we were getting was just how it was. Apparently their ability to provide service to the entire complex was a failure. "When everyone is home you will experience slower service." The customer support was pleasant to deal with, but the service is not worth the price. If you can find an alternative to Suite Solutions (even if you have to sign up for the vile Comcast) do so. Look into a mobile hot spot if your housing options prevent an alternative ISP. 1 star for their pleasant customer service people. 0 stars for their service. read more
