Avoid this store - I wish I would have read the reviews before I went. I would give it zero stars if possible. We were lied to about transferring our numbers to the new plan, offered shady under the counter dealings for switching out an iPhone, had things ordered for other people under our account, and had multiple charges added to our monthly bill that we did not agree to. in the end, our monthly bill was going to be $85 more a month than we were told. Thankfully the corporate customer service was able to help. When I went to the store to complain, I was treated rudely and dismissively. When I asked to speak to a manager or the owner, I was told it was not possible. Very, Very sad. When you see a huge emblem of a reputable company on the side of a building, you assume they are legit. read more

If I could give this store minus points, I would. We went in to transfer our phones off other plans. The Manager was sitting on the counter kicking his legs. We explained what we needed to do and he proceeded to talk down to us and told us the people who had the accounts needed to be in the store. We explained our Mom is 83 in lives out of state. He said, "there better be a note on the account then" without even looking at our account. Then they helped someone else. We had to sit and wait for 45 minutes to get help. The entire store smelled so horrible. Overall horrible service and very incompetent. I would never go back to this store again. I have already called At&t Corporate and placed a complaint as well. Buyers and customers beware!! Went into the store to replace a stolen phone. Elgible for free upgrade on 2 existing lines. Rather than order the phones under my existing phone numbers they chose to add 2 new lines to my account and try to get me to accept their deception. Was told by manager they were considered "ghost lines". Had to add them to get the "discount" rate. Meanwhile my bill showed the 2 ghost lines cost $40. 00 each line in addition to my 2 existing lines. Had I not waded throught ATT's pathetic overseas support and reaching support based here in USA I would still be stuck with the 2 ghost lines. The operators of this store should be terminated and the owner/s should be relieved of the franchise store. AVOID at any and ALL Times. I am sorry to say, but this store needs a lot of help. Over a year ago, our friend set us up on his phone plan from this store, so we use this store, because our friend gets his service from this store. About 2 weeks ago, my phone was not working. I called this store from my landline, and was told by a women I needed a new SIM card, and to come into the store to buy one. I went to the Sturgis, Michigan store instead, as it is closer to my home, only to find out there was a tower down in my town. All of AT & T was made aware of this. Well if this is true, why did someone from this store tell me I needed to buy a SIM card when I didn't need one. This week Monday, we went to this store, because we wanted to start our own plan, to help others the way our friend helped us. Our friend asked us to meet him at this store vs. the Sturgis store, as this is his store of choice. We told Jeremy Lewis at this Angola store, that we wanted our phone numbers released from our friends plan, so that we could keep our numbers, as I use mine for my personal business. If we were able to get the same plan as our friend, we would set up our plan with him, if not, we had an offer from the Sturgis, Michigan store that we wanted to go with. Jeremy said he had to set us up an account for us first, before he could verify what plan we could have. When we had our numbers free'd from our friends plan, Jeremy confirmed to us we would pay only $25 per phone for a total of $50 a month. Due to this confirmation, we agreed to have Jeremy set us up with a plan at this store. Jeremy asked my husband for his id, because he said he needed it to run a credit check. We were never asked if it was okay to run a credit check. Jeremy then scanned my husbands id. We were never asked if it was okay for our id to be scanned. Jeremy never read us the credit agreement, he never told us our credit score, he never told us how many lines we qualified for, he just said we would have the same plan as our friend. Jeremy asked us what pin# we wanted to use for our account. We told him the pin#. Now everyone in the store, including our friend sitting at the table with us, knows our pin# to access our account. I found this to be very unprofessional and against our right to privacy. Then Jeremy asked us if we had any messages or recordings we wanted to save. I said yes, again stating I use my phone for my business. Jeremy said "too bad, I already deleted them". What? How could he do this without our permission? Why ask me a question when you have already deleted the items you are asking me about? I found this to be very, very disturbing. Jeremy then said our total for the month was going to be over $175. I said what, you told us it would be $25 per phone. He said that price didn't include fees and base charges. Well had we been told this up front, we would not have done any of this, as we had a plan with the Sturgis store for $125 for 2 phones. Jeremy then said he could get us the $125 rate, but we would have to have automatic withdraws out of our checking account. I don't give anyone access to my checking account. He then said we had to come back in 2 days to set this up with him, but if we wanted, we could use a credit card. Jeremy than turned around the tablet he had, and told my husband, sign here. We left the store. On the way home, while my husband was driving, I pulled out my phone to try to set up my voicemail that Jeremy had removed, only to find out we had no service, no internet, and no way to set up a voicemail. What? How can this be? The store was closing as we left, so there was nothing we could do. But, I did take screen shots, so that I would have proof of what Jeremy did to us. I called the store the next day, was on hold for 15 minutes to speak to the manager, and no one ever came back to me to let me know what was going on. I have proof of this, as I recorded the hold on my phone. I hung up, and called back, and spoke to the manager. The manager told me that she wanted to fix the problem and to come back to the store. NO WAY!!!! I was not going to go back to a store this incompetent. She then said I don't know what you want me to do for you. I told her I wanted her to address this with her employee. She said she would. I then went to the Sturgis, Michigan store. I spoke with the manager Frederick Shoup. He was very helpful, kind, and professional, just like he was the last time we spoke on Friday. He recommended I call 611 from my phone to address my issues, as my account was locked by Jeremy for 48 hours that Jeremy did without our knowledge. I found out our last name was wrong on the account, so no changes, not even autopay can be made for 30 days. This was set up as a personal account, not a business account, even though I explained I use the phone for my personal business. And I am not listed on the account. And our bill is almost $200. I had a defective item right of box. No where on my receipt did it say 2 week return policy. Also no one told me this. This was magnetic charger. I had just got a new phone, not really a need for the charger. I got a magnetic phone case wanted to see if it held. Noticed no lights even coming on. Would not do anything. This was right at 1st month mark cause I just made my first payment. I took it in and I assume she was the manager would not even try to help. Was extremely rude and when I ask for a district manager phone number she refused. Also would not give me her name. I got on to call corporate, she called the cops on me. After weeks of dealing with corporate, they don't give 2 shits about a customer. All they want to do is credit me. Mind you not once did I ask for credits. I was on phone over 8 hours in 2 days. Have a email address for corporate associate. She said she turned it over to manager. In 56 years I have never had cops called on me. So if anyone knows this store managers name. I would love to have it. She is the worst human I have ever come into contact with. I have been with AT&T for almost 25 years. Probably longer than that manager has been alive. Avoid this store. AT&T itself, is alright when compared to competitors, but the staff at this location is awful. I was a customer for over six years and have to say that the last few times I went inside this store I felt belittled. I was never made to feel welcome. It was more like speaking to a customer was a condensation. In over 50 years, I have never had such poor customer service or been treated so rudely. This includes the staff, right up to the store manager. The toxic environment is likely why they have had so much change in staff. read more
