I purchased a phone on line unfortunately I had to cancel it I called within 48 hours to cancel. I was told it was cancelled. Not having a good feeling about it I called the next day to make sure it was cancelled.the yi7ng man I spoke to said it had not been canceled but that he would cancel it right then he asked me if I was going to be using my number and I said I had planned on using the number I had he said well it's a good thing you're canceling because we have a new configuration and your number isn't going to work so it would have been canceled anyway I said well good he said you should be receiving your refund in five to seven days I said will I get refunded for the $60 plan I bought also because it's not I wouldn't have worked he said yes you will and I said okay thank you goodbye 5 days went by 10 days went by 15 days went by and no refund I had a letter that stated that the money wasn't going to be taken out of my account until I received the phone but it was taken out of my account right away a letter later said that I was not entitled to refund something to do with having both of them phone during a time of in the middle of billing I didn't really understand what it meant but their policy is you have I believe 14 days to cancel a purchase like that and they were not going to stand by it they refuse to refund me my bank even tried to file for them to refund me and they still refused. I put in a informal complaint with the FCC the FCC contacted them and I received a phone call from The Office of the President of cricket the man asked me to tell him my story so I did he said he would investigate it took approximately 2 weeks for them to decide that I was entitled to a refund for the phone and my plan I told him I no longer had the phone I was very frustrated because when I decided finally I needed to have a phone because I hadn't had a phone I tried to have it service turned on only to find out that the phone had issues and they couldn't give me service on that phone that I would have to turn the phone in I said I'm really resistant to turning in the phone because I will get back a used phone that's refurbished that I paid for a brand new one the gentleman said well you'll have to talk about that with them at this point I had already just paid him another $40 to try to get service on the phone because the 60 I had paid wasn't going to work for that I said if I turn in the phone it'll be another month before I get it back so I'll have paid another $40 for another month of service I'm not going to be able to use he said I'm really sorry. After that's when I call the FCC so on November 19th of 2024 I am told I'm going to be mail to check for the $60 plan I said thank you very very much said I should be receiving it anywhere from 7:00 to 10:00 maybe 15 days I said okay I will look for it in December around right before Christmas I called I have not received the check they told me to wait longer finally in January of 2025 I received the $60 check I said okay finally it's over I took the check down to my local Merchant to be cashed low and behold two days later I find out that the check was bad now I have a $25 bad check fee to pay to this Merchant plus my reputation is no longer as good as it was before this check I was really upset I called cricket and I said this was completely and totally unacceptable and that on top of the $60 they owe me $25 because had that check been good I would not be having another debt they said they had to investigate I said well that's on your end because I did nothing wrong and I said I didn't want another check I wanted them to direct deposit because I don't know where to cash this check mail and I don't trust their checks they sent me a check anyway and they refuse to acknowledge any wrongdoing on the $25 bad check fee that I got because of them so beware if you have Cricket or you any money make sure you check with their bank make sure the funds are in it and that they have the right account number in the right routing number on the check otherwise you could be stuck with the bad chick feels so so all I know all I got back was really $35 after the 60 and the and the $220 I spent on the phone that's all I got back there's no Integrity of that company to not acknowledge that they are responsible for me having to pay a fee on their bad check is just. I wish I could give mine a Stars but then there's not enough stores cuz it definitely more than five.

Yesterday, I went to the Verizon store in Mentor, OH to get established as a new customer and activate my new phone. I waited over 45 minutes, as I didn't have an appointment. I left feeling extremely frustrated by the rude and unhelpful staff and I didn't get my phone activated. I thought Verizon would give better service. I couldn't have been more wrong. I found Wireless Connect through the PagePlus website. This morning, I visited Wireless Connect and was completely impressed. A staff member transferred my SIM card from my old phone to the new one and had me connected to PagePlus within minutes. There was no wait. Also, I could have gotten Verizon PrePaid through them as well, and they offer many choices. They also sell phones and accessories too. I'm glad that I have such a great place to go for my cell phone needs.

Mine there told me it would be $200 +75 labor, and this was in line with what I was seeing the prices were online. I want to first give a kudos for Mike NOT charging that bullshit transaction fee that so many places are starting to do. So good on Mike for that one. The install job he did itself was great but there was a significant problem: this new screen was a generic 3rd party screen that was significantly smaller in size and noticeable because the S22 and up from Samsung have a semi curved edge that gives the phone a unique look. This was not the case with this new screen. Also this screen is incapable of producing 120hz even though the phone setting will still say that it's on. I mentioned this to Mike and I'm not trying to verbally beat the guy up in this review but he did get defensive and dismissive about it. I showed him side by side two identical phones (the one having this generic screen) the difference between 60hz and 120hz. He really wasn't interested. In the end I just requested that he puts the old cracked screen back on and I reluctantly had to make him a deal where he'd get this sub par screen back and keep $40 out of all this. So he did refund the money and losing out $40 was still better than making a civil case out of this. But I'm just left wondering how someone who works on screens doesn't know the difference in screen refresh rates.

Thee worst place ever! Took my phone there to get LCD Screen fixed this week, I guess the "owner"…read morewas out of town so his brother said he could fix it! It took him two hours to replace screen, then I found that my earpiece speaker was now not working. I immediately returned for him to fix at that time he disassembled my phone again to follow up with "this is stressful, I'm not the expert". He assured me his brother could fix it tomorrow. Prior to leaving I requested a receipt, he said we don't do receipts and wrote his name, amount paid and date on a sheet of paper! Return the following day to now a phone that won't work with any LCDs and turn on! Owner looked me in the face to say "it's not his fault I took the risk when allowing them to fix my phone" . The "Owner" then handed my my phone back returned my money with an extra twenty for my trouble, while telling me to take it to apple store. Fast forward today took to Apple store to find out they didn't replace all the components, screws are missing and the heating elements are missing. This store basically gave me a shell of a phone and a $600 problem. I have to now buy another phone while still under contract with this phone! Do not go to this place! They won't return my calls and hangs up on me! They clearly are in the business of taking advantage of people!
