To be fair, this store was just the final straw. Verizon has remained just short of being fired for years... I hung in there because I received a decent discount through my company and bought unlocked phones thus minimizing my contact with the shady used car salesman types that seem so common in Verizon stores. On this visit I was looking to replace my Mom's old flip phone... A daunting task to be sure but doable as most carriers do offer one or two models for the members of that slightly older generation that doesn't want one of those 'pretentious new gadgets' but will gladly call their kid to look up something on their pretentious new gadget. The first issue was that there was only one staff member in the store. He was engrossed in helping one customer and never acknowledged the several people who were waiting for about the first 15 min... Until the first group walked out in disgust. He went on working with the one customer for about another 20 minutes and another walk out before telling us that someone else was coming in... I would've walked if Mom didn't really need that phone (having clung to the last one for over 10 years.) To be fair, the one employee did seem nice enough... Just under staffed and not much into multi-tasking... or communication. A second rep did indeed show up but I don't think he was an improvement over the waiting area. Definitely a minimalist when it came to customer interaction, he refused to engage, provided minimal information and was a bit abrasive... He then tried to sell me a flip phone for $269... 20 year old tech that I had seen online for less than half that amount... they did have one for $100 but it wasn't available in that store. I was then informed that I would have to finance it... For my own good. Seriously? I'm willing to pay for something on the spot and they don't want the money??? I waited 40 min to get bent over on price and they wouldn't take my money... I said something to that effect and headed for the door... I was quickly followed by the next people in line who took less time to get annoyed than I did... Their problem was also unresolved. I headed across the street to the competition. They were well staffed, friendly, helpful, offered a $60 phone (still overpriced for outdated tech but not grossly so) and explained everything clearly and patiently... Everything the way it should've been at Verizon... They now have my three lines (at a slightly better price.) Thank you Verizon Store in Bath for showing me the light to better cell service!

The employee that helped me not only switched my phones to Verizon easily but even put screen protectors and cases on the phones for me. And guided me thru set up of one of the Apple watches. I warn VERY strongly against hiring Druk…read more Druk was very pleasant when I reached out and quick to ensure that he could repair my phone screen. I paid him over $200 to repair it on site. That night, I noticed that the phone screen would turn dark while using it. By the next day, the screen was completely inoperable. As I pressed the side buttons trying to turn it off (because the screen was now totally blank) my phone called 911 and ALL of my emergency contacts. Because the screen didn't work, I could not stop the calls and had to talk to all of these people to explain- pleading with them not to send the police or paramedics. I made an appointment at the Apple Genius Bar ASAP and paid $360 for Apple to remove the counterfeit screen from Druk and replace it with a working one. I was informed that the counterfeit screen fom Druk was not even sealed onto the phone correctly. Even worse, when I called Druk, he refused to refund me. BUYER BEWARE: if you choose to spend $200 with Druk, you will have to spend at least $360 or more to repair his "work" with a dealer who actually knows what they're doing.
