I visited this store with my boyfriend's mother (we were both visiting Baton Rouge). She was in need of adding minutes to her current AT&T phone. Once we entered the store we were greeted by a very friendly employee who was able to answer all of her questions. We were in and out of the store within 15 minutes and my boyfriend's mother was very happy. The only thing I would have added to the store was to their selection of products. There were't that many phones and accessories on display making the store seem a bit bare. Overall...great service! read more

Waited in line for over an hour where like six employees were working. One customer was buying everything in the store and taking their sweet time! Another customer had been at a table for a very long time as well. I just needed my phone echipped again because the Apple Store messed it up after a repair and then redownloading all my apps but of course AT&T could not assist me. When I was finally seen, the person spent like five minutes with me, got up and left to go help someone else and I was like wait a minute, I'm not finished!!!! He said I'll be back and rushed back for a second after about ten minutes. I just left and went home and tried to fix my own phone. Ridiculous customer service. I traded in an iPhone and purchased another one. When I looked at my bill, someone from the store took my old phone and set up a new mine on my account. I reported as fraud, unauthorized access of my account and setting up an unauthorized account. ATT told me it was NOT fraud. Not only do I have $108 worth of charges on a number that is not mine, ATT won't let me cancel that line. read more

Just went to deal with getting right SIM card for my 98 yo mother's new phone, sent unordered by us. AT&T is upgrading from 3G to 5 G on all their system phones. The phone a free Android. Active SIM cards were too big when I called them twice. In the store, Tyrone was super helpful, getting correct SIM card and immediately activated phone. Visit took no more than 15 minutes. This store remains the highest service and selection AT&T full service store in Baton Rouge area. read more

The Rep immediately refused to help when she found out it was a transfer of service. She then asked if I wanted to see the manager. I did. The manager then began to tell me there was nothing they could do because the owner wasn't present. However they didn't even pull up the account to see if I was an authorized user with a transfer agreement on file. Completely rude and completely uninterested in helping or servicing our needs. I left this store because of this and took my business to the store in the mall. Someone there was able to help me and I was able to purchase a new phone and watch through them. This place is completely dysfunctional and has been since I moved to Baton Rouge twenty years ago. I tried to return my old phone there after upgrading but was told that is not possible even though that option is clearly stated on their website. Now the return is late and they have no flexibility. I cannot wait for the day when I can pull my kids and In-laws off of the plan and then dump you guys. If you bought your device online at att.com or by phone from AT&T, you can mail the device back to AT&T or return it to any AT&T retail store during the return and exchange period. This store is run by children (including the store manager) who don't understand that they are in the service business - a competitive one in which customers have options besides ATT. Their attitude is that they are doing their customers a favor. They didn't fix the problem with my new phone which I bought from ATT, and they didn't care. Absolute worst customer service experience of my life. Unhelpful and rude to say the least. Got WiFi and am still waiting for them to keep an appointment. I went back to get cell service and had someone run my credit without informing me. Called to speak to a manager and never got a callback. Just went back to the store and was treated awfully by the "manager" Dwight. After refusing to do anything other than make excuses he told me to leave. The worst experience I have ever had with a store. I strongly suggest going to any different at&t store and hopefully getting better service. Also strongly suggest their manager Dwight being suspended and given additional training on his people skills and knowledge of service. read more

Well wife and I walked in and waited for 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us and said someone help us in few minutes. Then another customer walked and they called him back first. Well I went back first. My wife had a email from Att and I am seeing signs about getting a free 13 with trade in. So we asked the guy what's the best program available for us. My wife gave him the info. Oddly he asked her nationality. So he's put info into his iPad. Says let me go check. Several minutes later amd asks my wife what she does for a living. Another odd question. and seeing him go talk with other workers. Says they don't have any 13s in stock. I said. We didn't ask that. We asked what's the best deal available we could always pick up later. Then he says there is no free 13s. We said well that's odd. We have a email that says there is, he says it's online only. Now we have been Att customers for 7 years. But the way we were treated with Disrespect. Going to compare other companies. read more

This review I hope will serve as a teachable moment for others as it has done for me. The problem is that I don't have enough characters and space in which to tell the whole story. I went to the AT&T store on Siegan Lane and because I had been in the next program for a while, I thought that I would gift myself a new phone. Also because I wanted my mother to be able to share in this new age of technology, I pasted down my other iPhone to here. She loved facetime and I wanted to make sure that she could see all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren that live as far as Maine. My mistake was ever going into an AT&T store from the beginning. Out of an abundance of pain, anguish, depression, frustration, and a great deal of malice; I've decided just to pray about it. Basically tell God on all involved. My first iPhone was a 5 and I bought the 7 on this day and I also bought got an iPad mini at a discounted price as a gift. To sum the whole story up. The iPhone 7 was a lemon. infact after AT&T refused to take the phone back and insulted me my saying that if I paid them another $300.00, I could actually get a new 7 from them. Also, they told me that they are not responsible for any technical problems with the phone and that is was my responsibility to take it to the Apple Store for service. I spent 6 months going back and forth to the Apple Store and I even had the phone replaced with an unboxed replacement phone. Oh, it was an AT&T representative that told me while I was on the phone paying my bill that my phone sucked and that I needed to call back on a landline phone. I even spent months on the phone calling back and forth with techs and supervisors in Cupertino, California (Apples Home Base), but only receiving constant reassurance that they cared and would see that I get satisfaction. Nothing transpired and I was really dumbfounded that doing a tricky thing by putting an Apple Representative and an AT&T Representative on the phone at the same time would cause one to Rep. to cease to exist (Oh guess what... Apple Reps and AT&T Reps cannot share the same space). It is against their life force rules. SO, NO ONE EXCEPTED ANY RESPONSIBILITY.... Now get this. When my Phone finally died and I gave it a proper funeral and burial. Oh... Yea... We held the services her in the home and all family and friends were able to speak about how much I suffered and how sick she was. Well, here is the kicker. AT&T still kept charging me as if she was still alive and well. They even charged me as if we were still heavy in a relationship (using the phone and air time). To the tune of almost $600.00. I couldn't do it. I do not see how I am responsible for continue paying them when I didn't even have the phone. And they still wanted me to pay after they knew all of the details. I'll wait them out until the write-off. The Lord Knows That I Don't Want To Give Any Stars. Neither company deserves any. But, the only way to post this review is to select a star. It seems weird to review an AT&T store but I just have to let everyone know how nice this location is! I'm never on this side of town so I was surprised! It's huge, for one thing. And it is very nicely laid out. They have large areas of displays and seating areas for when you're being helped. I realize no one really wants to go in to the store and it can be a bit of a time suck but I had a good experience. My experience with AT&T this afternoon was absolutely unreal! The store manager at the time was very rude, unprofessional and ignorant at the same time. My mother kept addressing him questions concerning the poor quality service we've been receiving over the past month, and that we were basically receiving promises that were never done. She also asked why was there a new account made in her name when we specifically asked them numerous times to only modify an existing account. In response to her concern, he kept saying to her, "You're asking the wrong questions...." And continued to insult her. When I expressed how displeased we were and that we would like everything canceled, he said, "We'll cancel it. I'm asking you to leave or I will call the police!" I was so outdone. I'm going to report this incident to corporate headquarters because the way in which the manager spoke to us was insulting and provocative and he purposely did this so that he could find a lame excuse to call the police instead of fix the issue with our account. We have been with AT&T for the longest (at least 10 years as a family) and this is how we are being treated at this location--absolutely unacceptable!! read more
