I really appreciate how the staff is helpful, but does not try to sell you stuff you don't need. When I needed to upgrade to a MacBook for school, Kam helped me choose the right one. He listened to what I mostly use my laptops for and not only recommended the best one for me, but told me why the other options would not be a good fit. Kam also helped me schedule an appointment with Geek Squad so I could have my data transferred from my old laptop to MacBook. Blane and the other employees at Geek Squad were very helpful and efficient both when I dropped off my devices and picked them up. The Geek Squad department is very busy so I definitely recommend having an appointment with them if you need their services. read more

Within the past three weeks I have placed two different orders at this location, when items was placed online it stated items will be available within an hour for pick up, Three weeks later I still haven't received the orders. I finally canceled today, the representative at the store was no help at all. Appliance delivery is no service at all! I have been trying to have a freezer delivered for almost 2 weeks. I have tried to schedule it 3 times. My only choice is to choose a day for delivery anytime between 7 AM and 7 PM. The day before the delivery date, a smaller delivery window is set by the third-party delivery company without consulting the customer. I called Best Buy to try to get the delivery window changed, but they cannot do that once it is scheduled. I tried to reschedule and Best Buy customer "Geek Squad" put a note on the order to schedule delivery before 3 PM, but the person warned me that it may not happen. The window sent me was until 5:30 PM. I cannot find the freezer I ordered from another vendor. If I could, I would cancel my order with Best Buy. Best Buy delivery is not customer service! read more

They get one star because you can't give zero stars or negative numbers. When you walk into a store and no one can tell you where to find the item that you're looking for and you ask the manager and all he can do is point to an area, you have discovered the problem. I attempted to show the SKU number to an associate and all he did was point to a general area. I approached the gentleman who had "manager" on his name badge and he gave me the same runaround. How difficult is it to look up an item when the customer is presenting you your own SKU number? I'll be shopping Amazon from now on. You can close Best Buy. read more

I rarely visit Best Buy. We were at the start of the 2020 pandemic and my Amazon Firestick crapped out! I knew there was no way so could have gone through a day without my streaming services, so I quickly went over there on a weekday afternoon. The store was pretty bare, but the staff was so nice and helpful. Someone asked me if I needed help right away. I was only looking for the Firestick. They had 2 different kinds, but I was looking for a basic one, since my TV was several years old. I also bought a cover for my Firestick because I think the other broke from being dropped numerous times. Thank you for having the product I was looking for available. Love the smell of Best Buy. The only brick and mortar place I buy electronics from. Salespeople are usually helpful and know their stuff. Returns are fairly easy as well - 15 day return policy. Had a great convo with one of the salespeople about a new stereo receiver for my house and he spent a lot of time with me even though I told him that I wouldn't be making this purchase soon. If you need electronics, Best Buy is usually the place to go for the best selection. The Beat Buy in Naton Rouge seems smaller than some of the other ones we have been to, but it gets the job done. Staff is friendly, but they don't seem to be as well informed on their product as i would hope. I am a consumer who researches all "major purchases" (including televisions, computers, cellphones) extensively before making a purchase. If I do have a question remaining when i get to the store, it is legit and I really need somebody that can give me solid information. I have had some very flakey answers to the few questions I have had when going here. Maybe I have just been lucky enough to run into trainees. If I could give zero stars I would. My husband and I went in to buy him an Apple Watch and after looking around for about 15 minutes we went to find a worker to get us the one he wanted. There were about 8 workers standing up at the front talking and cutting up so we politely walked up and asked if someone could come help us. One of the women was really nice and said someone would be back there to help us in a second so we walked back to where the watches were. We waited about 20 minutes and no one ever came to help us. (at least 3 workers walked right by us but were so deep in their phones they didn't give us the time of day.) At that point we decided to leave and on the way out we told the guy at the front (that had heard us ask for help) that no one ever came to help us and his response was "We had one guy back there." which clearly was not how he should have responded to unsatisfied customers. The one guy back there was with a person the whole time we were there and none of the other 5-10 people on that shift could come help the dude? Nah. Will not be going back there for sure. read more

I'm a really big fan of Best Buy. I've never been in one that I wasn't happy with. It's just so exciting to see so many techie things. Phones, cameras, computers, super modern refrigerators even!! I always feel like a kid in a candy store. Love it! The BR location was no exception. I don't know why I took so long to come in. But I ordered a new MacBook online and didn't want to wait for it to be shipped or risk not being home for a delivery so I chose the pickup in store option which I hadn't used before either. It was soooo simple!! I ordered and was able to get my new MacBook the next day!!! I just walked in and walked out it seemed. It was so quick and easy! No waiting in long lines, having to worry about it they had it in stock or not. I will definitely use this service again. I also love their DVD selection. I browsed through for a few mins with my son and they had so many to choose from. The store was also very clean and had sort of a new car smell which was refreshing. Best place to buy a dishwasher in Baton Rouge! At least it was for us Lowe's had no one in the appliance department, too often the case in all their departments Home Depot had two people in the appliance department but neither knew very much about dishwashers. Like, was installation included Best Buy had two knowledgeable people on duty in the appliance department. The one we talked with, Morgan, even knew about Consumers Reports analyses of dishwashers We ended up buying one, a Bosch 300 series, and getting free delivery and installation for about $180 less than Home Depot - and about three week earlier than Home Depot's delivery and installation Early installation was important because I have been doing the dishes since our 25 year old GE Potscrubber suffered a sudden and unexpected death. read more

I ordered a wash and dryer on October 12, 2018. I was told it would be delivered Nov 3. The delivery company called me Nov 3, 2018 at 7:00am to notify that they didnt load my entire order (the dryer) and that it would be delivered on Nov 5. The delivery guy told me it would be delivered on Nov 5 and I have emails and texts saying delivery Nov 5, 2018 7-1pm. On Nov 5 at 1 PM I called the delivery company. The associate seem uninterested. So I called best buy. All of a sudden my delivery date changed. I took off from work Nov 5 to recieved my items. I got nothing. Now you all are telling me to take off gf rom work again for Nov 7. How do I know I will receive my order? Should I really take off from work? What will Best Buy do to compensate me? I will definitely not reccomend Best Buy. Now I have to drive 20 miles to wash clothes because someone at your delivery service messed up and no one made them compensate or correct it. You are telling me to wait after you all have made mistakes I've talked to several people and NO ONE can help me out. This is unacceptable. I wanna review it too! Ok...its a best buy, not the biggest and not the smallest. The selection is decent, but not as good as it used to be. But, then again I'm not sure if it is this store or all best buys that have changed the set-up. Seems like they are cutting the fat, and trying to streamline it to just things that sell. My big complaint is that the layout is weird. It's more like the manager picked the layout for what they like. Or, did they intentionally put high interest items like gaming consoles all the way in a back corner so that you have to wade through a bunch of crap in hopes you might find something else to purchase. Was recommended to come to Best Buy by T Mobile to upgrade 4 iphones. We called the location ahead of time to verify if the phones were in stock. Went to the department and waited a little while. An associate walked over there with a box in his hand. Im not sure if his name was Karsyn or Kamryn but it was similar. We had spoke with a guy name JP on the phone who informed us this location had the phones in stock. The associate spoke with such attitude the entire time, saying he had no idea who or what we was talking about. and the people on the phone lie and dont know what they have in stock. Not only did he talk with attitude his demeanor was worse as if we were bothering him. And no one worked there by that name. i was trying to figure out where all the attitude was coming from. So my husband asked him to go ahead and see what they had available. He proceeded to the register. At this point i told my husband i was ready to go. But he wanted to proceed. He went to the register and asked for the information. Then he says "i cant even get into your account because its delinquent." With all that same attitude he had been having. T mobile just sent us over here so there should have not been an issue. So we just left and went to the Apple Store. No attitude, no sense of the employees feeling as if we were bothering them and we upgraded 4 phones. Never again will i shop at that Best Buy location. read more
