I have been dealing with Chris. I think his name is Chris. I've taken my iPhone back a few times…read morebecause iPhone does updates and I have to relearn it. Sometimes I get stuck, but Chris can figure stuff out so fast in no time I'm in and out of there and there's a couple other people in there that are the same way but I don't know their names the girls. So I'm just here to say I don't understand stuff that they tell me about and I'm a senior citizen someone that loses patience very quickly although I have never had that problem there I had big problems with Verizon and so did my sister and so did another friend. They don't have an attitude when you come into AT&T their job is to sell things and then help fix things while your phone is under warranty. So I found out today that when my apple phone runs out of warranty, I can buy an extended warranty through AT&T. It's like nine dollars more per month, which is a deal because it at Verizon the salesman there are bet on selling you a phone, no matter what and they do have an attitude because they're not making money enough money by sitting and trying to work on an old phone. I understand the situation but I have had great luck at&T. I've been there. i've been there 8 to 10 years.

We waited from 4:38 (it may have been a little earlier, that's just when I checked my phone) until 4:59.  Once we were helped it didn't take very long at all.  Really my biggest annoyance was waiting but that's to be expected at a cell phone place. Ruby took good care of us.  She was really nice and while we waited for her tablet to give her answers she talked to us about what my husband wants his future business to be and even my in-laws.  I know we will be continuing service here for a good long time.  Thanks guys.

On 09.22.25 at approximately 10:00 p.m. EST, I accidentally dropped my phone face down on a hard,…read moredry floor, which cracked the screen. Around 11:00 p.m., I attempted to file an insurance claim through the Xfinity app, but the process would not complete. Since I did not have access to a computer, I contacted Assurant via chat to get the claim started. That interaction was extremely frustrating. The agent was impatient, unkind, and ultimately gave me incorrect information by telling me I could go to an Xfinity store for repairs. Later, I received an email directly from Assurant stating that my repair location was Batteries Plus on Pipestone and providing a link to set an appointment. Because half of my phone screen was not functioning, I could not use the link to schedule. I decided to go to Batteries Plus in person the next morning around 9:00 a.m. I provided the staff member with my claim number and explained why I did not have an appointment. Her response was dismissive and inappropriate. After I explained, she asked why I didn't use a computer and remarked, "Most people have computers at home." This comment was unnecessary and unprofessional. She then told me that no technician would be available until 11:00 a.m. and that I should return around noon. This made me question the point of requiring an appointment if staffing is not aligned with service availability. While another employee arrived, I overheard her whispering in the back, including the comment, "I'm just trying to help her," in a snarky tone. There was additional confusion when my claim showed under my ex-husband's name, even though my account should have been fully updated into my name years ago. This ongoing issue continues to cause unnecessary obstacles whenever I need service. When I returned after noon to pick up my phone, a different staff member rushed me through without explanation. I later discovered that a screen protector had been applied to my phone without my consent. Regardless of the waived deductible, this is an unauthorized modification to my device. I do not use screen protectors, as they are ineffective on curved screens and break easily. To summarize, I experienced: Stress and misinformation during the claim setup with Assurant. Disrespectful and dismissive comments from Batteries Plus staff. Lack of professionalism, including whispering about me within earshot. Continued account mismanagement, with my ex's name still tied to the claim. An unauthorized modification to my device without consent. This experience was unnecessarily stressful, and I hope it is addressed so no other customer has to go through the same.

When I called a few days later after receiving a notice from Asurion, Chris was not there. I spoke to a female employee who said she could not explain what happened since she was not my salesperson, but said I should be happy that I got the phone for "free" with a trade-in and essentially scolded me for not getting the insurance. As I continued talking about the situation, she hung up on me. She was defensive, condescending, and not at all interested in helping me understand or rectify the situation. Also, while I was there getting my new phone, another customer came in to return his old phones that he wanted to trade in but did not have when he purchased his new phones. Chris asked with whom he had worked and then said his salesperson had just gone to the back of the store and he would let him know. Chris came out and said he had told him. The customer waited for at least 15 minutes, got tired of waiting and left with his phones. His salesman came out a while later and asked where the customer was. When he was told he had left, he just shrugged his shoulders and indicated it was not his problem. I suppose he was on break but a professional would interrupt his break to help their customer. Also, I do not understand why Chris or someone else could not have accepted the trade-in since they can access any account. The poor customer now has to make another trip. This pretty much summarizes the attitude of the individuals working the store. They do not care about the customer. I warned my wife about shopping at third party phone stores. She understands now. Next time we will go to the Apple store as I have always done.
