Do not rely on an honest sale with Alex. I simply wanted to upgrade my 5 year old iPhone and by the ttime I left the store , I later discovered I had been sold a 2 yr contract that included early upgrade, protect for one and Protect Advantage monthly fees. These are all options that I have never had on my plans and not on my current plan which Alex could see when he pulled up my account. He didn't advise me that he had added them to this transaction. Additionally, he led me to believe that the phone case, screen protector, pop up attachment and car charger were part of the package of the phone purchase. Actually he just sold me these items to boost his sales and they were totally independent of a neW phone purchase, adding $100 needlessly. Finally he offered to lower my Directv bill by some $30 a month by buying a new contract with Directv. Basically he was scamming DirecTv as I was contacted by DirecTv and advised of such. I will never again go to this AT&T store, thank you Alex. I have purchased my phones there in the past and been quite satisfied, but no longer. read more

Court Sturdy, store manager, as well as Karina, an employee, did an excellent job of assisting me to get a new iPhone. I was having issues with a business account & for some reason my account was put on a 30day hold. Court & Karina did a wonderful job of contacting the AT&T business line & working out the details so I could order the phone I wanted in a timely manner before I went abroad for business. I had the shortest visit ever. I started by telling the employee I was looking for a price for a new plan. (I currently have Verizon with major issues). The employee asked who my current provider was. I replied, what difference is it. He then stated he could compare plans. Wait a minute, why should it matter unless this guy was only going to under cut my current provider by a few bucks. I left the store immediately and wasn't going to play this guys game. August 2018 Terrible service with the Manager, Court Sturdy at the Canandaigua NY Store. My husband and I changed service from Verizon to AT&T, before we decided to do so we checked the coverage of service with AT&T before making the move and all seemed to well established in our area and spoke to staff to ensure this as well.   We decided to purchase two of the new Samsung Note 9 (retails $999.00 each), the promotion was a buy one get one free. We experienced a lot of dropped calls in our area, called spoke to IT Department after speaking to the store manager in Canandaigua, I was told that I would receive information from the engineering dept. within 2 day, never heard a word. My husband and I decided to switch back to Verizon as we never had issues with our service in our area or during our travels. I contacted Manager Court Sturdy and had him on speaker phone so my husband could listen. He told me to double check with the Loyalty Department to ensure that we are able to port our phone numbers back to Verizon without incurring the $2,000.00 acceleration fees for the devices. So, I contacted the Loyalty Dept. went over all information, he had told me that porting over the phone numbers back to Verizon wouldn't be an issue but he couldn't waive the restocking fee at $45.00 each due to the poor coverage in our area. So, I wanted to get everything in order to take care of the move back to Verizon and I didn't want to use Labor Day Holiday weekend in tending to this phone transfer, so I immediately went to Verizon to port my numbers back and also got two Samsung Note 9 through Verizon. So I had a total of 4 Samsung Notes and two of the devices to be returned to AT&T. After work on Friday, I drove to Canandaigua and spoke to Court Sturdy. He told me that I couldn't return the phones. He stated that I needed to return the phones prior to porting the phones numbers back to Verizon. He also stated that when I ported my numbers to Verizon it canceled by account and can no longer return the phones, Meaning that I will be billed the $2000.00 for the two phones. He said the only way I can return the phones is to port over the phones from Verizon back to AT&T to make my account active again then I will be able to return the phones. He told me that he mentioned this to me over the phone when I had him on speaker, which we do not recall this. Even the Loyalty Dept. didn't advise me on this either. He then told me that he would contact his Regional Manager and said if he could make this right that he could write off the phones, if this became a problem. He told me to contact him on Saturday morning.   Please note: I am still within my 14 days of returning the phones.   I called on Saturday morning, I handed over the phone to my husband to speak with Court Sturdy as I thought this process was the most dreadful thing ever. So, I drove back over to the Canandaigua Store and must have been there for at least two hours, discussing the scenario as in paragraph four. Then during this conversation, he said it would be best to return the new phones from Verizon so I do not receive acceleration device fees from them - but I would still need to port the numbers to AT&T and then I can return the phones to AT&T.  He also stated that with all the moves with porting my numbers back in forth that these phone numbers could place a freeze on them as the FCC can restrict them due to fraudulent activity. So, now this is getting worse and worse. I don't understand why I couldn't just return these phones? I spoke to Verizon in person and he told me that there is no reason why they couldn't as I'm within my time limit. I drove to the Geneva NY AT&T Store to get another opinion on this situation, as this manager was making this very difficult and stressful for us.   So Jess (Assistant Manager) and Cindy (Region Manager) at the Geneva store knew of the situation and return my phones without any problems. I was told that I could of placed a law suit with AT&T if they didn't take back the phones with 14 day requirements.   Thank you Jess and Cindy for everything, I would suggest anyone doing business in Ontario County NY, please seek assistant at the Geneva NY Location- I would hate to see anyone get treated the way that we did. The Geneva Store also applied a credit of $45.00 each for the restocking fees, due to the hassle, travel and stress occurred by Court Sturdy. read more

Do not go here go to a corporate store. We signed up for new service and were lied to at least 3 times about different things about what we were buying. We were told we were getting a brand new ipad mini for 50 dollars and came out with an ipad mini 2. Which is 2 generations behind the newest ipad mini 4. We were not told that we had to use all of our trade in value of our phone in the store. For our other phone we went to a corporate store and got it all put on our bill. We went back to this store and told us that they couldn't put it on our bill because they were an authorized retailer. Even though on the at&t website it tells you that you can put it on your bill. Please don't go there go to a corporate store in the mall in victor is probably the closest! read more
