(I did not mention my wife's passing as I could not bring myself to speak that; Cancelling her line was difficult enough as it is). I asked the woman at the greeting counter about returning a phone. She wanted me to provide the order number. While I was trying to find it, she asked if I knew where I ordered the phone. I could not remember whether the phone was ordered online or at the store. She implied, without even verifying, that I must've ordered it online and that I would have to send it back via mail. She could've looked up this information on my account but was not interested in helping me. Instead, she turned her back to me and watched what was playing on the in-store television while I struggled to find the information. I got frustrated and just left the store. So, she is getting paid to help customers while this customer, who has been with AT&T since the days of Cingular wireless (20+ years) had to struggle to try and help her. There was not another customer in the store.

This happened April 2017, it's been six months and I finally got my iphone fixed. To be honest I'm super cheap! A screen repair is expensive! Over the past six months, I researched businesses that will repair a iPhone 6S along with the prices. The cost ranges from $90 to $130 for screen repairs. For starters, most businesses require an appointment. Some of the reviews on yelp are horrible. Naturally, I was hesitant to go anywhere for the past six months. Around 5 AM Saturday morning, I finally had enough of my cracked screen. I got on yelp and researched until 8 AM. I made my first call to Batteries Plus, the woman was very rude and short with me---Pass!!!! The Pineville location has bad reviews anyways. Next on my list Staymobile!!!!! At 9 AM rushed over to Staymobile to be the first in-line to drop off my iPhone. Words cannot express how thankful I am for Staymobile!! My phone looks awesome!!! The gentlemen on staff was very informative and fast! My phone was ready within 1hr! I used my checkin offer and paid $96 for the screen repair. Thank you again Staymobile!!

They also are empathetic to your tech crisis and don't use any high pressure sales tactics like other repair shops. I trust them for all my device repair needs. Visit 1: My phone screen went black, wasn't charging, and was completely unresponsive. They ordered the part they thought they needed, and it turned out that wasn't the issue. I gave them permission to order the more expensive "plan b" option.. still didn't work. My phone was officially dead, but they didn't charge for the parts or service because it ultimately wasn't fixed and nothing was able to be salvaged. This type of honesty and service practice is hard to come by, even though the outcome wasn't what I wanted. Visit 2: My laptop screen was cracked. They ordered me a replacement screen and made the repair. Simple, easy, and fair prices. It took a little less than a week because they didn't stock those screens. Visit 3: A different laptop "turned into a brick" after a MS update. They confirmed that it wasn't reversible but offered a solution to at save the files. They were able to confirm that the hard drive was still good, so they turned it into an external hard drive and salvaged my personal files for a reasonable price.

I decided to do the battery replacement. Well, during the battery replacement (at NO FAULT OF SAM'S), something happened with my phone, but my Face ID stopped working. He tried to do a few troubleshoots but couldn't fix that (we think it was from damage previously, but who knows...I never had issues with it, and I am NOT FAULTING SAM!). So, I decided to trade it in for the quote he gave me and got a new (used) iPhone. Sam is beyond professional. He was warm, welcoming, and very engaging. He made me feel like I was an old friend.
