I asked that they show me the basics of my new phone, and they were condescending. Before the data transfer was complete, they packed me up and said I could leave. I asked if I should stay until the process was completed. They said it could finish in the car. Anyway, long story... 3 hours later my phone was not updated. Both employees were snotty when I called and could not answer my basic questions. one sent me to the general number for A T& T, so I had to fend for myself with tech support. I went in person to get this done, and 3 hours later it was not finished! When I called to speak with the manager he was just as juvenile as the employee. I know I sound like an old fart, but this new generation is useless! He said it was not their responsibility. I went to the store on Baldwin and the man was patient and answered my questions and finished everything. Do not enter this store on Sashabaw. It's a joke!

He started by trying to repair my phone, or at least update it for a little more service life. When we could see that it would only be a temporary fix, I decided it was time for a new phone. Dave walked me through the entire process, from choosing a phone, to making sure all data transferred correctly. Dave suggested apps that would be for my interests. He gave me suggestions for a case AND , helped me set all new passwords. Five stars Dave. I really appreciated that you listened to me! I have had help from other men too, when I need a repair. Went in for a hotspot plan as I already had a nighthawk router. They sold me a plan without my…read morerouter and used an IMEI number they pulled from the back room. They told me that all should be ok as I'm coming from AT&T and all I would have to do is insert the card then activate online. Drove 30 min home and tried to activate online but it said I needed to go back to the store to activate it. I drove back the next day and the the associate on duty was rude and told me I must be in the wrong place as there was no man work yesterday. FYI it turned out to be here manager. Long story short she kept telling me the hotspot had to be unlocked and I kept telling her I have an unlock code and the guy yesterday told me I didn't need it. She didn't listen and said she felt threatened by me and asked me to leave the store so I did. I called Criket and they told me the IMEI was set to another device. They fixed and tried pushing again to me, but still no luck getting it to connect. Cricket said to try another store and they would have a supervisor call back in 20 min. No call back so I drove to another store in flint. They told me that all looks good, I figured out the other problem myself, the APN in the hotspot had to be set to Crickets network ndo. The manager Rodger Handley is extremely rude, pushy and condescending he lies to you, and tries to fool you into buying a phone by providing misinformation. They also charge you $25 restocking fee if you decide to return your device and per Cricket customer service and corporate headquarters state that they are not allowed to do so! However they overlooked this rule set to them by Cricket and charge it anyways, that's what happened to me and they try to lie about it saying that it was Crickets rules but Cricket said otherwise. They refuse to transfer your contacts and pictures when you purchase the phone, they want you to do it on your own and if you come back for service they will absolutely find every excuse not to help you if you're not buying anything. Jessica is a sales associate and is also very rude and condescending and so is the district manager Steve C. Beware of this location, I'm not the only one that feels this way in the neighborhood it's a shame because Cricket is a great company but Thanks Management is giving them a bad name. My first experience here STARTED off great. We were switching from AT&T and had an initial $1,800…read morespending limit but knew that wouldn't be enough because we had 4 phones to switch. When i got there initially different prices were being thrown out and i was told I'd walk out paying $170 that day. I had to leave and go to the dentist so i ended up coming back later that day to follow through.. before i left i had mentioned that we had a business.. the manager said oh you do!! Do you have a Tax ID, i can probably get you a $3,000 credit limit, i gave him the info and went about my way. My fiancé and i came back to switch over our phones and all went well.. we ended up paying NOTHING and went about our day. The next day we came back to trade in our stepdaughters phone and they told me "they forgot to tell me i had to pay $252" so i figured okay that's it, that's fine. As were in the process of finishing everything they tell me it's going to be around the $800 range now and i of course, lost it. How does it go from $170, to $252 to $800.... so they took some accessories off and the lowest total they could give me $785. And then they decide to tell me "well the business didn't help so we could only get the $1800 spending limit" wouldn't that be what they should have told me to start???? We had already switched 2 phones over and traded in so we could not get our phones back and stay with AT&T. So the manager goes on to tell me i won't have a bill until March because of the $785 i paid today.. 3 days before Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!! If i knew i was paying $785 i wouldn't have switched AND i look on my app and guess what.. A BILL!!! It may be a small one but it's January???? Not March! Honestly just really upset and my Christmas was ruined because of the unexpected money i had to spend.. not happy AT ALL.
