In order to get service, Gravity makes you fill out a giant, cumbersome form (they model their business after the Department of Motor Vehicles) and then select a time for an appointment. I arrive at my appointment and explain from the outset that I have an iPad that needs a new battery. The person at the desk essentially asks me to repeat most of the same information I typed into their form again, which I do. Fifteen minutes later, he tells me that the part needed for my iPad is something they cannot get. I'm out of luck. I ask him why they don't check whether they can actually do the work before wasting an hour of my time... crickets.

I paid $120 for the repair and $40 for a glass screen protector. He told me that if anything went wrong with the phone, to bring it back and he would repair it for free. We took the phone back because it stopped working. He said that he couldn't fix it because the problem was coming from "inside of the phone" and when we reminded him that he told us about the warranty he gave us the previous week, he said that he could fix it but it would be $100. When we told him that we weren't paying another $100, he reluctantly said he could repair it for $80. We ended up getting her phone replaced. Remember the $40 glass screen protector? We ended up replacing her phone and when we removed the screen protector, we discovered that it is plastic, not glass. Again, these people are CROOKS!
