This store needs to do a better job at training employees. Was there to drop off a trade-in which I have 30+ days to do so. Should be a simple drop off and the employees acted as if they didn't know what was going on. Asking about a promotional period. We already made the deal, signed the papers and paid for our phones, just had to take the phones home, switch the data and erase the phones and then drop them off to complete the trade. This location far surpasses other AT&T store locations. My tech, Marco was the best. Professional, efficient, and knowledgeable. I had upgraded from Galaxy S9 to a S26 and somehow had totally lost my phone icon. After stopping at 2 other places for help and getting none, and being told they would have to clean out my phone and start over (taking 3-4 hours) I stopped at the South Preston store and was pleasantly shocked when Marco took my phone and fixed it in 5 minutes. Whatever you do, never go to this location. This is NOT a corporate owned AT&T store. This is a reseller store that has the AT&T sign but not the knowledge base, training, oversite or quality of service as compared to a corporate owned location. Beltline & NDTR. To upgrade my phone with trade-in, it took 3 trips to this store, 2 calls to customer service, 1 trip to the Apple store and finally a trip to the corporate owned AT&T store. It was a very maddening and unsatisfactory experience. Had I known there was a difference I would have gone to the corporate store the first time and saved myself lots of grief. I wish I could give 0 stars. Buyer beware....they do a bait and switch. The rep knew we qualified for the teacher discount (25%) but did not add it to the plan. I was skeptical about going because of the Yelp reviews. I needed to replace a car charger that was bought about a week before. Basically I was mentally preparing myself to deal with any foolishness. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Walked in this weekend. Several AT&T employees (not helping customers) looked at us and then continued playing on their phones. One lady who looked like a manager made eye contact and straight up sat down to chill on her phone. I approached her and asked if they could replace my BodyGuardz glass screen protector, which I brought from home. Annoyed she responded saying they don't sell them at the AT&T store and couldn't successfully put the protector on the phone without bubbling it so I should just go home and do it myself. I told the woman that they did indeed sell the BodyGuardz screen protectors because they put the current one on my iPhone. DENY DENY DENY. She was basically Shaggy. Besides the fact that she clearly doesn't have appropriate knowledge of her inventory she was just rude AF. She could care less that she was talking to us and walked away from me before we were even done with the conversation. So, take the rude lady's advice and just "do it at home yourself." I've been to this location a couple of times. Every time it seemed the management team lacked the awareness of how many people they needed on any given day. The first time I visited, I waited over 45 minutes just to have a new sim card put in my phone because they were so short staffed. The second time I visited I waited around 20 minutes. I will give kudos to the personal at this location though; staying professional and helpful throughout their high stress times. Every time the personal who helped me was very respectful, knowledgeable and friendly. I just wish I didn't have to wait so long. Tip to management: make sure you know when your peak times are so you aren't putting more stress than needed on your employees. read more

Very poor customer service. Was asking questions regarding iPhone's new payment policy. The young woman assisting me said, "As I just explained to you before..." and treated me like I was not as smart as her. Nope. Bye, Felicia. Saw the previous reviews that were negative and was a little worried. I went in for an upgrade and was immediately greeted by someone who took my information. I waited 10 minutes and was seen by a representative. The guy was named Christian and he was very helpful and answered all my questions. The phone I initially wanted was not available, so he talked me through some of the other options I had. I was in and out within the hour and would definitely encourage others to go here. Some below are saying that there are long wait times. But it might be more so related to the time that one goes in. I Went at about 2 pm and there was minimal wait. It might be longer if you go in during their busy times (e.g., the weekend or nights). Overall, great experience! read more

Around mid-April 2016 I went in to get a new iPhone 6s to replace my wife's broken 5c. I was so impressed by the great customer service. James helped me quickly, searched for more information on the web regarding refurbished options (because I asked), and he was great at helping me choose something that worked for me but nothing over-the-top. He also put on my new clear screen protector for me - in a superb bubble-free, perfectionist fashion! I would highly recommend going to see James here at this AT&T store. Great experience. read more

TOTAL RIP-OFF!!! In January, my elderly mother went to this store to get a new sim card for her phone. While she was there, she was assured she could save money by switching to AT&T U-Verse. It has been nothing but a billing NIGHTMARE!!! She has made numerous trips back to the store and spent hours on the phone trying to get her account straightened out. Every time she is told her account is corrected and balance is zero, she receives another bill for an outrageous amount. The account rep at the store even told her he had no idea why she was being charged $150!!! Enough is enough!! read more

At&T and Direct Tv is a scam. I went to set up Direct Tv now on July 2017 through At&t. First they went to the wrong address, then showed up 6 days later to the new address. They installed both At&t wireless internet and Direct Tv now. The tech. said it would work in 24hrs after it activated which it did not. Then they sent a new tech out and he couldn't fix it. Then I was told I had to send the old boxes back and new ones had been issued and were being sent to me. Then a new tech. came out to install them and they didn't work either, it turns out they not only canceled the old account but cancelled the new account as well. Had to start all over again and spent 3 days of my vacation days trying to remedy the situation. Countless hours trying to fix their mistake. I then asked if I could switch from Direct Tv now to At&t u-verse without being a problem or having a penalty and was told yes. Now almost 1 year later I am sent a collection notice from At&t Direct tv and states I owe $189.97 for an early cancellation fee but being it already went to collections and was never given to me from At&t or Direct TV as an early cancellation fee so I could dispute it, they tell me I can't because its in collections. I have spent 5 hours of my time again trying to resolve this issue to no avail. This is how they get 98% of people to pay their phony charges because no one has the time to spend trying to correct it and they make it impossible fix so people pay it to avoid going on their credit. I will not be a victim of this scam any longer. At&t and Direct Tv stop your phony scam on the public and do what is right! read more

The customer service beyond horrible. I came in store try to review the contract, but the account is under my husband name. He was home dive that day and give his I'd to me. I showed my I'd which is not good enough. I called my husband to come helping the manner. The sells person told me to take both I'd and leave the store otherwise he will call police! Service is inconsistent. While the staff seems friendly and helpful, they aren't in any hurry. After wasting more than an hour online with customer service and being told my problem was solved, I stopped in the store to pick up my new phone. Had to go back twice because the wait was so long. Then they knew nothing about my issue and were not able to look it up. We then wasted an hour on the phone with customer service only to be told they couldn't help me in the store. My contract ends in a month and I'm switching to another provider. read more

Came into this store with a friend to pay her bill, and discuss data usage options. The lady who helped us was very rude, and tried to belittle us. There was also so many other workers standing around doing nothing. Defiantly need new management and better costumer service skills. It made me rethink my choice to use AT&T as a phone company. Been an AT&T customer for along time. Customer service at this location is awful. Really, $15 a month for the land line at home.

I used to go to this store regularly and it was just fine. The last three times, now, I have left without them having been able to help me. Or, more accurately with them choosing not to have helped me. As an example, the last time I was in it was because I called to see if they could make an exchange of an Autre box for me that I had bought online on the AT&T website. I explained I had bought the case for the 7+ accidentally, asked if they had a case for a seven in stock, they said yes, I asked if they could exchange it for me even though I bought it online and they said yes. I went in to make the exchange, and when they found out that I had bought it online with a voucher and not with a credit card, the store manager said they could not make the exchange for me. The voucher was provided by AT&T as a thanks for a recent phone purchase I had made. However, I guess they can't make any commission if I bought it with a voucher, so they sent me packing. Other two of the last three visits or similar tails with similar endings. They don't care about their customer, and they show it to you... Right to your face. read more

Was in there for 2.5 hours. Guy that was upgrading my phone said to tell him when I made my decision on what color iPhone 5c I wanted, but never told me that HE WAS LEAVING FOR THE DAY! After waiting for an hour we asked where he went, they said he had left. We then did everything all over again and then by the end of the purchase I found out I could get it for free at Best Buy instead of paying one hundred dollars at AT&T. I then asked if they could match Best Buy's deal, seeing as they were not giving me good service. They then no and I asked why. "We don't care where you buy your phone, because either way you're still under our contract." The worse part is that they know I don't have the money to spend $100 on a phone, yet they didn't tell me at the beginning about the offer at Best Buy. They don't give a damn about the customers.
