This place is a little like the last bastion of a day gone by. They sell a store full of things that now are downloaded and used in so many other ways. But they are also one of the only places I know where you can buy (or sell) items like CDs, movies, games on this level. The place is huge. You wonder how long a place like this will last with so many people using everything from itunes to hulu to watch and use entertainment, but as long as they are one of the only places that handles these items, maybe they will last a long time. It also makes me feel old to watch CDs go away the way tapes and vinyl did before them and to watch movie rental and sales places disappear. It seems like it is a really good store for games and then also buying or selling guitars and some music related equipment as well. read more

I have to say that their used dvd prices are pretty competitive with Movie Trading Company. I like how part of their store is organized by actors/actresses for the fanatics. Their clearance dvds could be a bit more organized, maybe by movie type or even alphabetically so hunting down a movie might be a bit more convenient. I might be back soon. read more

Wow! Just WOW! These guys are BY FAR the RUDEST people I have EVER come across at a business! I used to come here years ago and things were ok, but now they have changed things and the employees are just seriously SO RUDE. I give them my phone to sell and the guy from behind the blue wall comes out of no where and starts trying to scare me and threaten me by saying "if this phone comes back with a contract we'll prosecute you cause that's theft." Do you just come at everyone thinking they stole the phone? I had the freakin box and charger and everything that comes with it and he still told me that. After waiting an HOUR, the cashier comes up to me and tells me "hey man, we're gonna pass". I asked to talk to the guy behind the blue wall who was inspecting my phone so I could simply find out why it wasn't accepted, and I hear him from behind the wall tell the cashier is "I DON'T WANT TO TALK TO HIM." Those exact words and in a very rude manner. Baffled that I just heard that come out of his mouth, I told the cashier, "wow great customer service" and all he says to me is "mhmm, see ya." I will NEVER ever take anything here to sell again or buy anything from them (as if the prices aren't already marked up enough anyways). It's like these guys think for some odd reason that they're above/cooler than anyone who walks through that door. This was easily one of the top 3 worst experiences I've ever had at a business. Almost laughable to be honest how a place like that can even stay in business with employees talking to people like that. Don't go. Sell your stuff on craigslist or Gamestop.. read more

Entertainmart takes up an entire former Circuit city location, so it's pretty big. Reminds me a bit of CD World only on a much larger scale. They have both new and used DVD's, Blu-Rays, and CD's. They also have posters, T-shirts, Video games, and game consoles. The super bargain basement DVD's are randomly placed in boxes with no particular order, so be prepared to dig. You may even run across a few low budget b-movie gems that no one has heard of. They have some other odds and ends such has reproductions of old advertising signs, and small electronics such as cell phones and iPods. Being new and used the prices run from dirt cheap, to full retail. Doesn't seem to be a lot or service, but you get what you pay for. read more

This place appears to be really cool with the electronics, music and movies but their downfall is the poor staff. While waiting for service I heard one staff member making fun of a customer's weight unapologetically. The rest of the staff walking around were in a disinterested, zombie like state. When I was asking questions about a cell phone the guy behind the counter gave short replies and kept looking back at his co-workers. Afterwards he immediately went back to them to play on his phone. From the family that first brought us The Movie Trading Company comes Entertainmart! How do I know this, well because I went to high school with the owners. It's a neat place and is one of the best retail stores I have seen, it reminded me of my days at Hastings in college. Because not only do they sell DVD, but video games, posters and even t-shirts. How cool is that? Plus I like the fancy set up of TVs and posters throughout. The prices are comparable to that found at the Movie Trading Company and what they carry in stock thus far is mildly impressive. Just give it time and I foresee it going to grand scale. read more

On top of giving you top dollar for your old stuff, this place has a monster selection of new and used Blu-ray, DVDs, CDs, Games, and Posters for sale. Imagine a store about the size of a Best Buy, but gutted and aged about two decades, and filled with neon lights, lots of 'ma-and-pa' taped flyers everywhere, and row after row of product for sale...definitely a funny looking setup, but wow, what a selection - and what fantastic prices. read more

This place is wonderful for a home-body like me! I love a good movie and at a bargain bastment price makes it even better!!! Points deducted for lack of quality customer service. On my last visit, an employee walked past me atleast four times with no acknowledgement...even worse, I'm standing there (kind of close) to the rack as I look at the various movies and he walks directly in front of me. I'm a very courteous person and I sometimes forget that not every is cordial, so thanks for the reminder Entertainmart guy!!! lol At any rate, you can't beat the prices..especially when they have holiday sales (ie the upcoming 4th of July sale, 3movies for $10 you can't beat that!!! My only gripe is that it's sometimes hard to find old-school movies here. I sooooo wanted to buy "Maid to Order" and "Once Bitten"! Update: Decided to make another trip there to check out what 3D movies they have there. (Which by the way are cheaper than movie trading company's) Apparently I've been there so many times that a lot of the employees know my face and remember what I look for. As I was walking around, had an employee stop me and tell me there was a way for him to help look up 3D movie inventory. I'd been looking for a particular movie and couldn't find it anywhere there. He looks it up and says he's got it.. I'm thinking it was an inventory glitch but he goes to get it and next thing you know I'm walking out with a few more movies than I thought I'd be getting. The store is a little out of my way but I'll keep coming back because of that kind of service. read more

If you're familiar with Movie Trading Company, this place is pretty similar. They buy electronics/CDs/games, etc for cash and turn around and sell them for a decent price. You can get great prices on movies, records and CDs here... video games are hit and miss. Games for newer systems are priced higher than GameStop, but for older systems like the PS2 and original Xbox the prices are decent. For phones and tablets, you can get them close to the same price off Craigslist without having to worry about dealing with sketchy Craigslisters or getting ripped off. They also sell larger electronics like televisions, used, and they seemed to be priced fairly. My only two complaints are the cost of new video games and that it is always very warm inside the store. Everything else is excellent! You can spend hours in this huge store browsing and I almost never leave empty handed. read more

My last visit here was about a month ago. Very knowledgeable staff and fantastic buyback prices as well as prices on games. And you can literally find ANY DVD that you may be looking for. Holy cow is there a DVD selection. Also posters, guitars, TV's, cell phones, smartphones, vinyl records and game consoles including handhelds and recently they've started selling magic the gathering starter decks. And if your kids have been begging to you to buy them skylanders figurines: they got 'em too. Though you may overlook this store as they changed the sign out front from their movie theater style logo to a sign that simply reads "emart", and a sign of a stock-photo woman holding a tablet. But their aesthetic choices don't reflect their awesome selection. Also, they've been criticized for telling people selling phones to them that they will report any attempt to sell a phone under someone else's contract, as it is theft. This upfront disclosure is actually required by law as this is a frequent phenomenon. Need cash? Just swipe someone's smartphone when they aren't looking, and sell it. You'll have to buy a charger for it before you can cash in on it, but you'll make your money back almost instantly. read more

I love the Entertainmart. I hate the Entertainmart. I love it because for a movie fan like myself, they have everything. And I hate it because they have everything and I usually end up spending way too much money and buying more DVDs than I should. I hate that when I go in, I can never remember what weird obscure movie that I went in specifically for because there is so much to look at that I get distracted. I love that every time I go for a movie, they always have it. I love that they have some DVD sections set up by actor/actress. Oh, and they have video games as well. We picked up several games when they have buy one get one free sales. Other cool things: vinyl records, cassette tapes, and posters and T-shirts. There's also some manga. The prices are always really decent. The staff is always friendly if you need anything but they're not hovering annoyingly. I love the Entertainmart. And I hate the Entertainmart. A fantastically large store filled with all the games, albums, movies, posters, and even guitars you could imagine. They even had Battle Royale. The movie section is a very wide variety, which is nice considering how poor movie stores are currently doing. The game section is fantastic, they carry some PS1 games, which is very rare nowadays. My only problem is the staff. They aren't talkative, and sometimes even rude. (During one check out the cashier didn't say a word, he just pointed to the price and everything.) Horrible place. Bought a wii and a couple games from here. Went home and put in Mario kart to play and it wouldn't work. Took them both back the next day and the person "inspecting the game and device" said we broke it and wouldn't get a return. Sorry but no that's not going to work with us and we got our return because it was broken when we bought it. Oh and the icing on top of the cake? Awful service, I asked to speak to the manager. When i asked Aaron the "manager" why they wouldn't take my other games after a half hour wait, he responded with "I don't know." , a glare, and quickly walked away. I recently visited this store ( emart) bought a kinect game for my children for Christmas took it home to make sure it works and the game comes on for a split second and then freezes, so we went to toys R Us bought the same game and it works great. Took the game bk to E Mart and they told us that we laser burned the disc and we don't sell them like that. The so called managers we believe are not managers because they do not know how to handle customers!! We called to try and talk to someone else and they hung up on us twice. Very unprofesional they would not return the game knowing we bought the same one hours later with both receipt s showing that information. We will be spreading the word to not shop at this store!! Good spot for beefing up the movie collection with old DVDs. From what I can see on the games and box sets, you're probably better off purchasing online. The employees were less than friendly/helpful... But $2-4 DVDs is a pretty good deal. Personally, I toss the cases and keep my DVDs together in their own case, so I don't mind if the packaging is ugly...which some of them are pretty bad. What a wonderful place! Everything at Entertainmart is so cheap; it's incredible! The atmosphere inside is vibrant but inviting, and the place is simply STACKED with all kinds of inventory, from vinyl to XBOX 360 games and back! Once I grabbed 3 DVDs (Thank You For Smoking, Just Friends, and Stranger Than Fiction) for $6.50 at one of the famous tent sales. It made my day. Go to this place! AWESOME. The place seems to have gotten a face lift. The service is much better, and they are now super into electronics - phones, tablets, computers, etc. I got a crazy deal on a used iPad, and considering they gave me a lot of cash for my old iPhone, the deal was even sweeter. Large selection of games, movies, and music. I went specifically to look at Vinyl records, and I was pleasantly surprised by the volume at this store. Prices on the used inventory seemed to be priced $6 or less. The Vinyl section is however very poorly organized. Very dissatisfied!!!!!! I bought at cell phone for my daughter back in October 2013. We are currently at the Mayo Clinic for medical treatment and her phone stopped working. I called our service provider to find out that the phone was on a payment plan and was not paid off before it was sold to Entertainmart. We are out of town and without a cell phone. I have tried calling the store and no one will answer the phone. I expected more from the store and did not think I would be purchasing a fraudulent product. I did finally get through to the store and talked with a manager. They are willing to trade out the locked phone for another of the same model. I am very happy with this outcome. I am grateful the managers are willing to work with their customers. I first rated the store as a 1 star but now I changed it to 4 stars because they realized there was a problem and are willing to make it right for their customers. Way to GO!!!!! read more
