I do not suggest taking an Apple watch here for a repair. We had an apple watch series 3 that had a cracked screen. It was "fixed" within 3 days. We went back to pick it up and wore it for a day. We kept noticing it snagging shirts and that the edge wasn't smooth. We took it back after a couple days and they were able to make the screen smooth and flush with the watch. A few weeks later with washing hands the watch got wet. It did not want to respond to touch commands and eventually the screen stopped working completely. When I called to state that the watch that we could previously get wet now does not work after their "repair" I was told I could pay another $100 and maybe they could fix it. Do not take your apple watch here. I asked kindly if they could try to assess the watch again without a fee and was told "sorry". I am very sorry I used uBreak. read more

took my PlayStation 5 in to be fixed for a broken HDMI port on a Monday and they told me it would be ready on Wednesday. Ended up being "ready" on Tuesday and when I got home it wouldn't turn on. Had to bring it all the way back to the store for them to tell me it wouldn't be ready until Friday after paying over $200 to get it fixed. read more

This location at Beltline & Preston used to be YouBreakIFix, now it is an Asurion store. I cannot say a change for the better. Last year I had problems with my phone, and they did fix it correctly, but only after issues contacting me when they needed information from me which delayed the repair. Now we recently brought our laptop to be fixed. They charged $99 to fix something that was not the root cause of the problem. The computer was just as bad when we got it back. After a second visit they worked on it some more, but still the same problem remained. We ended up taking the laptop to a computer shop across town and they fixed it in one day. It is now working great. I will say that before it turned into Asurion, twice I brought my phone to a YouBreakIFix location and both times the service and repair was super. Bottom line: for phone repairs, consider them. But for computers, maybe not. For now, I wish they spent less time trying to sell Asurion extended warranties, and more time listening and repairing. read more

Had my (secured) laptop for two days and did nothing with it, and he tried to stick me with a protection plan. Why do the their techs act like they're lost or just unskilled rejects in this industry, I mean to argue with the CUSTOMER about their phone number is crazy, why would I give you the WRONG NUMBER knowing you have MY LAPTOP I mean all but the area code was WRONG! But this is Dallas, land of no respect or common sense. I shouldn't do business with people with no experience, I'm in Cybersecurity and this smells like a scam, new banking info requested just to be safe. BASURA!! read more

I'm going to open by saying the people I've spoken with have been polite and professional. I appreciate that. Solid customer service skills. That said, now I'm actually getting genuinely irate at their service outside of direct customer interface. Shortly after my previous review, I called the people at Asurion, and spoke with somebody who looked up my device. Per him, they couldn't do anything about the Switch controller except replace it. I can get the joycon replaced for free via Nintendo, I'm not paying for that. The fan, well, they could try cleaning it out, but if that didn't work they'd replace it. They would, however, charge me for cleaning and replacement both. So I asked them to just skip straight to replacement. A little over a week later, close to the end of the month, I hadn't heard anything, so I called again. This time, no word about the fan. Instead, they were looking at replacing the stick on the joycon. I didn't question it; if they could repair it in a long-term fashion, great. They were just waiting on the stick to arrive, and that could be that day, or maybe the day after. He'd call me when it arrived. Fast-forward close to a week, and I haven't heard a peep. So I called back a third time. The man I spoke with looked into it and said the device--which had been there two and a half weeks--was still in diagnostics. He then said that they couldn't do anything about the joycon, except maybe replace it. It would be free if I signed up for a protection plan, IIRC, but I'd have to wait a month before it kicked in. The fan, well, he could blow that out, that usually fixes it, and I could pick it up today or tomorrow, whenever is good for me. So sick and tired of waiting without any word back, I said fine. And that is where I decided I was going to go back to this review and update with a single star. The speedy diagnostics and repairs that the brand touts were nowhere to be seen. Two and a half weeks and three call-backs, and still there. When I was told 48 hours for diagnostics in the first place. It felt like there was little coordination among the men I spoke with there, and by now I'm just taking what I can get just so I can have my damned console back. They do not get my recommendation. read more

Took my broken S10 Galaxy phone to these guys. Got the hard sell on some home warranty from the west Plano store, who couldn't look at my phone unless I signed up for the un-needed service policy with recurring credit card payments. Do I went to the east Plano store. They needed to get the display for fixing my phone and I had to leave the phone. So I went to Oaklawn Ave store and waited an hour past the time given. Finally got my phone back just before closing. Unfortunately they had removed the provisioning chip. So when I went to purchase a replacement phone from Best buy, I still couldn't get my phone service restored. Called the Oaklawn store and they said they didn't remove it and didn't have it. But they were the only ones who actually had my phone out of my presence. Eventually. I did get another provisioning account chip for my S20 Galaxy SE from Verizon. They seemed to be interested in the story about the removed chip as could involve fraud. read more
