Went into this store to get a new phone for my husband and was told that ATT Internet Air was faster and cheaper than Google Fiber (LIE). So I ordered the equipment, had to drive back to this store to pick up (no shipping to home) and then verified that Internet Air was not faster than Google Fiber (slower by like 50%). The only way to get rid of this account was so bring the equipment to UPS, which I did. (as did another ATT customer in line behind me). Here we are 3 months and 7 customer service calls later still trying to get the charges reveresed on my bill. Don't fall for it and save yourself a lot of frustration. read more

Of course it was more complicated than expected but Alex (manager) was extremely helpful, managed the customer service phone call that otherwise would have to have been me and saved me money that I would not have known that I could. I went into this store to buy the iphone 13 Pro Max. I showed my ID and gave my company's account passcode since I wasn't listed on the account and they accepted it. I then paid for it with my personal credit card. They asked if I wanted it to be shipped to my house or work and I asked if they could ship it to the store since I would need them to transfer my info from my existing phone. I get an email a few days later that the phone has made it to the store so I stop in and ask to have them transfer my information from my old phone. The white gentleman there looks at me and says, "You're not a signer on the account" and that he can't give me the phone even though they sold it to me and I paid for it. I gave him my passcode to the account, (my phone is on a company account and I own the company) showed him my email to my email address showing the order number and delivery confirmation. I feel it was because of my race that he then began to say loudly for other customers to hear "I will not commit fraud. You are asking me to commit fraud." (I realized he doesn't know what the word fraud means at that point) I then called my business partner who set up the account and asked that she speak to him and add me to the account. He says, that people cannot be added to the account like that. (This was a lie since we did add another person to the account over the phone a week earlier) I ordered a phone, they accepted payment from me and after accepting payment from me, refused to give me what I paid for on my personal credit card thus not fulfilling their part of our contract. Using the word fraud when I obviously was the owner of the phone and then refusing to provide me with a product that I paid for likely due to my race was disgusting. When I spoke with his manager the following day, (The manager was one of the people that I purchased the phone from days earlier) he defended his employee and said that depending on the day, their policy on who is allowed to purchase a phone is subjective. I had my business partner meet me there, we cancelled the phone, and have begun a discrimination suit against this store. They are grossly incompetent and we live in this town but will never go to this store that potentially allows their employees to discriminate based on race. We were disgusted by the entire experience and the manager was so indifferent about everything, I'm shocked that he was even a manager. I advise you to stay away from this Authorized Retailer at all costs. Spend your money with a store that treats all of their customers equally. read more

AT&T service was down all day. My booth was directly across from the at&t booth and they were trying to sell new stuff....but their wireless service was non functional all day. No vendor that relied on at&t could use credit card services to run their business. Pathetic. I have already cancelled my U-verse service a couple months ago due to at&t pathetic service and as soon as my wireless contract is up they will lose a 20 year customer. read more

If I could give a zero I would. Their sales associate created a nightmare. They have been unwilling to fix it, say they are going to rectify the situation and have ZERO follow up. They flat out told me that they have no incentive to fix the issue they created. They gave me the number to a useless corporate rep Melissa Hale, who will not even respond to me. I'd give it zero stars if I could. I went today for an easy fix, just needed a new SIM card for my phone. First, the now open sign was not illuminated so I wasn't sure if they were actually open. I walked in and they were open but there were a few customers ahead of me. I walked in and was not greeted by the 1 employee ( yes, 1!) working. He saw me but didn't even say hi or anything. There was a couple being waited on and two separate folks waiting. One lady ended up leaving and again the employee never acknowledged anything. The other gentleman was holding the base to a home phone which I noticed. When the employee moved on from the couple to this guy, he told him they don't sell home phones and that he couldn't help him. If I noticed the house phone why wouldn't this employee notice instead of making this guy wait?! read more

ZERO STARS - The owners of this store are CHEAP! they will only have one person staffing the store at a time- on a BUSY WEEKEND DAY! I just left this location. I WAITED OVER AN HOUR FOR ANY HELP only to be told that he couldnt transfer my contacts from one phone to another because he didnt have a special machine to do it at this location (cheap owners) and told me to go all the way to austin. I WAITED OVER AN HOUR JUST TO BE TOLD TO GO TO A DIFFERENT LOCATION!! I told the customer service rep when i walked in that i would need my contacts and info transferred from one phone to the other- knowing this, he should have looked at my phone quickly and sent me to austin right away instead of making me wait for over an hour while he moved at A SNAILS PACE helping one family transfer over all 4 phones. Obviously since i wouldnt be making him any commission, he didnt care about helping me. during the time that i was there, multiple couples came in looking for service and were completely unacknowledged, never greeted, and left the store because of the long wait. Its a sunday, its the weekend, its busy! STAFF YOUR STORE PROPERLY!! this is UNACCEPTABLE! If you are going to be an AT&T retailer, please supply your locations with the proper equipment to actually provide customer service! First of all, have more than one employee working. Secondly, make sure your employee is COMPETENT. This guy was the slowest moving person-- every long slow tap of the computer keys was like sick torture. Third, Teach them customer service! have them greet customers when they walk in(instead of ignoring them), have them give a customer an estimated wait time if they are already helping another person, and if its something obvious and quick, just F-ing help the customer and send them on their way. Dont make them wait for nothing! I wish i never walked into this location. read more

When I first moved to Dripping Springs this is the first store I stopped by because my iPhone 4 was not working. The staff at the time was super nice and super knowledgeable on their products and how to get the best deals for tv services, Internet, and other devices. At that time I was also looking for a job and applied here because if the staff was trained the way I had received customer service, I knew it would be an amazing company to work for. I have been working here for a year and indeed I was right, they teach us to be honest to our customers and explain everything on the ins and outs of giving them great AT&T service within our grasp and help customers to the full extent within our reach. I couldn't be any more proud to work for such an amazing authorized retailer store within the AT&T company where they really do care about the customers and where we do help as much as possible especially now that we have the offer of Direct TV, and free tablet specials for only $10 with a 2 year contract. As well for those customers who have crawling speeds with wired Internet services in the area, we have free wireless Hotspots for $20 a month with a two year contract and it uses your shared wireless Internet data at LTE speeds. Don't ever buy from an authorized dealer they are only motivated by sales and will not tell you about hidden charges or fees when selling you your package. After speaking with the corporate office and having to goto a corporate location did they fix the mess. Would give it zero stars if I could. Absolutely the worse AT@T store I have ever visited! Horrible customer service! I live in South Austin but go to Dripping Springs for my eye doctor as she is better than any doc I have found in Austin. So I decided to stop at this store thinking it would be less crowded than the stores in Austin. There were only two people in front of me, both occupying the two available desks. However, only one rep was seen helping customers and was taking FOREVER! The other rep remained in the back out of sight while his customer sat and waited and waited and waited! In the 45 minutes I spent waiting at least 5 customers came and went frustrated because of wait time. I dont usually mind waiting as long as I am afforded equal time handling my situation but when it came to my turn it took the guy less than 3 minutes to give me misinformation regarding my problem. When I left, the rep with the tattoos was still just chit chatting with the same customer that was there when I arrived. Obviously trying to get out of helping customers. AVOID THIS STORE! Take the short drive into South Austin! Never again! read more
