AT&T Store - 1831 Manhattan Blvd, Harvey, LA (Store ID 4622) I am sharing this review so other customers can understand my experience and so management can review how situations like this are handled. On November 20, 2025, I returned my iPhone 16 Pro Max to this store after upgrading my device. The phone was inspected by an employee who also consulted with a manager before accepting the device. After leaving the store, I received confirmation emails stating that the device had been received and that it was in good condition. However, after waiting through four billing cycles without receiving any trade-in credits, AT&T customer service later informed me that the device had never been received. This was extremely concerning because I personally handed the phone directly to the store. When I returned to ask for help, the staff initially said they could not find my transaction until I showed them the confirmation emails. Even then, the explanations were inconsistent and no apology was offered. Instead of helping resolve the situation, the conversation felt dismissive and unprofessional. Another issue that still has not been clearly explained is the Next Up feature. I have been paying $10 per month for the Next Up program, which is supposed to allow customers to upgrade early. However, I was later told that I do not qualify for trade-in credits because my iPhone 16 Pro Max had not been fully paid off (12 of 36 months). This creates a confusing and frustrating situation: * I am paying monthly for the Next Up feature * I returned my previous device to the store * I still have to pay the full price for the iPhone 17 Pro Max * And at the same time I lose the promotion on my iPhone 16 Pro Max If there are conditions that prevent customers from receiving trade-in credits, those conditions should be clearly explained before accepting the device. Accepting a customer's phone in store, confirming it was received, and later stating that it does not qualify without clear communication creates serious confusion and distrust. Because the issue could not be resolved at the store level, I eventually had to escalate the situation through an FCC complaint. I hope AT&T management reviews this case and improves both the transparency of the trade-in process and the professionalism shown when handling customer concerns. read more

Over a year ago, my phone was lost, went to get another phone. Only to find out a month later an extra line I did not ask for, want, or consented to, was added to my account without my knowledge, went in to get it fixed, after 2 hours was told the line could not be removed, and there was nothing they could do. I ended up getting a bill credit for 3 months, and that was it. I switched my number to a different provider since then, and they are still sending me a bill for a line THEY added to my account without my knowledge and refused to remove from the account. If this does not get resolved, as I am not paying for a line that was unknowingly added to my account, and was never used, I will be taking it to small claims court. Just best to steer clear of att all together. It's not worth the headache. read more

Avoid using the Manhattan location, Damon is apparently famous for being an outright ass to customers. Went into the store to see why my Note 10 stopped service stopped working. I was given the run around for over 3 hours. Tre was the person helping me, he was super nice and was genuinely trying to resolve my issue. My problem is with the manager, Damon. He came at me with a nasty attitude off the back saying my issue is because the phone is ATT unlocked. Well, according to the customer support rep that Tre and I spoke with, it's because of the 3g towers going offline, not the device being unlocked. Damon rolled his eyes and said "Well you're wrong, it is because the device is unlocked." Mind you Damon never once touched my phone to take a look at the issue or anything, yet he claimed to know what was going on. Tre and Damon both told me there was nothing they could do for my phone and were expecting me to leave without a working device despite my account being in good standing and my line still being active. Even tried putting the SIM in a different phone and it still wouldn't work. Damon or tre did not have an answer to that either and did not seem interested in helping me any further After Tre stopped helping me I asked to use the store phone to call customer service myself since we werent getting anywhere. Tre said I could use a demo phone, bit did not mention that it would cut off after 5 minutes. After I got cut off, I approached Damon explaining what happened and he said "what do you want me to do about it?" With a very nasty tone and attitude. I told him I needed to use a phone to get my issue resolved and he pointed to the store phone. While on the call with the CS, Damon is hovering next me telling me to tell them the issue is because the device is unlocked. I mentioned what Damon was doing to the rep on the phone and he started arguing with me about what I said he was doing. I asked him to stop mouthing off to me and his response "You are not going to disrespect me in MY store" I just laughed at him and went back to my call. I then overheard him say "At least my phone is working, unlike yours". What kind of manager says that? That was so childish it's comical. When he walked off I asked one of the other employees for his name because he would not tell me. I asked if they could check to see if I had an upgrade and I also mentioned I wanted to put in a complaint. When Damon saw I was speaking with his coworker he immediately approached us and asked what was going on. When his coworker told him I wanted to put in a complaint he told her that he would help me. He asked what me issues were with a nasty attitude. As I started speaking he just kept cutting me off going "OK NEXT" After that I started to pull out my phone to record how inappropriate he was being. He said I couldnt record and when I started the video turned around and called the police on me for trespassing. Never told me to leave. All of this happened while I was still on the phone with the ATT rep. Once I got my issue partially resolved over the phone, I mentioned to the rep that I wanted to file a complaint about this experience. When Damon heard that he came and stood right next to me hear everything I told them. He sarcastically laughed and rolled his eyes the whole time. After the call, I was going to wait for the cops to explain the situation but it had been over an hour to show up so I just went to a different store. At the new store I explained the gist of what happened and as soon as I mentioned it happened the Manhattan store, the guy knew who I was talking about before mentioning a name. He did not have anything nice to say about Damon to say the least. Pretty sad to have that kind of reputation around the city. the new store was able to get my phone working within 45 minutes, funny how Manhattan couldn't get it working after 3 hours. I still have an ongoing issue with AT&T and their insurance partner Asurion, however, after 10+ phone calls I went into a store in hopes that a human would actually care enough to actually help me....I was lucky enough to get Jose and Yunelly who went above and beyond. We weren't actually able to get my issue resolved because its beyond the scope of anything the corporate store could fix but I was so impressed by their dedication and empathy that I will ultimately stay an AT&T customer. Hopefully they put my on a path to get my issue resolved finally with the fraud department and Asurion CEO office. THANK YOU AGAIN! I will always use this store for my AT&T needs. read more

Do not go here! I was switching from Verizon to At&t and at first everything was fine until I left and they never actually got my number switched and my phone shut off. I went back to the store and got no where. I spent almost 2 hours on the phone with At&t and Verizon trying to get my phone back on a plan. If you're switching to At&t find a different location or do it over the phone. read more

Great service I went to buy my teenager an iPhone 6 because her iPhone 5s did not have enough storage. I was in and out within 15 minutes. Stacie R. was very nice and professional. I read some of the other reviews and I don't understand how my experience was so different then theirs. When the new iPhone 6s comes out I will go back to this store to get it for my daughter. I have been having issues with getting my credit for my devices traded in. I have been with this company since May 2020. Each time you speak with store manager they tell you they will get back with you about issue and never return a call. They give you their card to call them, they don't answer the phone or return a call when you leave a message. Manager Yunelly was very unprofessional and rude on a visit to store while i was there. The service is horrible with AT&T. Managers are very rude and has nasty attitudes. At this point I would not recommend any family or friends to AT&T. Customer gives you the run around when you call them states" you need to go back to store where trade in took places, then once you go there you get answer. Very dissatisfied customer. read more

WARNING DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE !!!!!! DO NOT SHOP AT THIS LOCATION! I bought the iPhone 5s on Sat. Oct. 19. The phone was blinking and reseting so I went back to return the phone on Wed. Oct. 22. The phone was defective so the policy states that I can return the phone in 14 days... They said that they have to charge me $35.00 restocking fee to return the phone. They tried to charge me a fee for buying a bad product from them????? WTH! On top of that allegedly they didn't have any phones to exchange my defective phone for but when I said that I want to cancel the contract phones magically appeared. But I still would have to pay a $35 restock fee. The reason they didn't want to exchange my phone for another phone is because they are sitting on the limited stock to sell to new activations because the sales reps get more money for new activations the upgrades. I was going to take away from one of the potential new activations in turn cutting into the profits of the sales people. They wanted me to go and return it to the apple store and I just bought the phone from this store 4 days prior. If you can just deal with the apple store or another location all together. Ask the reps how they get paid and do the math on my story to see if it adds up. Example New Customers/ Reps get 30-60 dollars Upgrade customers net 15-20 dollars. If there was a way to give a rating with negative stars I would. The whole place was a zoo for the three hours I was there. I've purchased cars in less time than I had to be in this place. All they are worried about is selling you something that you have no clue about and making things as complicated as possible. My phone went out and instead of helping me troubleshoot the issue, which turned out to be an easy fix when a friend helped me today...needs new battery, I got shoved into making an insurance claim. Now since I felt I had no other choice than to pay $100 for an insurance claim to get an old model phone (when my contract is up next month) I won't be able to return this "new" phone when it arrives (and it hasn't even shipped yet). So annoyed but I feel like there's nothing I can do b/c no one wants to be helpful...when I know there has to be an easier way. read more

Absolute worst customer service! The employees stand around as if they are oblivious to the fact that customers are waiting to be helped. Long wait time didn't make things any better either, so I left the darn store after waiting for 30 minutes. Luckily I found a store on Terry Pkwy (apparently just opened up a few weeks ago), that offered quick service and had a better selection of phones. read more
