Worst retail experience ever. Extremely misleading sales pitch leaves you with zero understanding of your bill or changes they make to your account. I specifically said I don't want the NEXT plan on my phones and guess what's on my bill? Yup, you guessed it, NEXT. Went in a few days later to clear up the account and they said it wasn't on my account. I must be blind and not out the $20 I just paid for the plan. Silly me. Buyer beware. They will convince you that you are getting the "best deal" they offer but when you return to make changes, "I'm sorry there's nothing I can do". Restocking fees are company policy. So is misleading customers. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT shop here for anything. Heed my warning. I was surprised at the critical reviews for this store. My recent experience, involving a balky I-phone (tough with all the Apple Stores closed), was very pleasant. Had to wait for a bit for my turn. They do seem badly understaffed. But the service person was very helpful in tackling my problem and, when several efforts failed to resolve my problem, admitted defeat. He did not press me to purchase anything new and suggested a couple of avenues I could pursue. So, I would not hesitate to bring my business back here! read more

Nice, informed, and professional staff. The deals here are great, the selection is excellent, and there are seasonal deals which can't be beat (esp. if you have a trade in). For instance, if you want the newest Google Android device such as the Samsung Galaxy S4, just take in your used smart phone (less than 3 years old and in at least semi-good condition and get $100 off your new purchase. So doing a little math, the SGS4 can be purchased for $100 with qualifying upgrade status and 2 year contract. That's the best price i've found so far for a pretty kick a$$ phone. On top of that, they apparently allow you to combine deals. So for example, they are currently selling the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 to all SGS4 buyers for $200. Bring in a used tablet like a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7 inch or an iPad, and get $100+ off. Not bad.. not bad at all. Anyway, I want to give +1 star for the courteous, kind, knowledgeable, and professional staff, +1 for the organized store, +1 for the prices, +1 for selection, and +1 for the deals and flexibility. Jessie Cleaves will sale you a bill of goods. He comes off as a guy who cares and knows his stuff. I'm not usually fooled, but he got me. Came into the store a week before Christmas to buy a phone for my daughter and add 2 lines to my plan. I already had one line for myself with 9 GB of service and needed to upgrade to an UNLIMITED plan now that I would have a total of three lines with two teenagers. He proceeded to 'advise' me that each line for unlimited would be $25 per line for a total of $75 + applicable taxes, insurance for 2 of the phones ($30) and phone lease payments ($43). Approximately a week or so after I gave the phone to the kids for Christmas, I began receiving messages that I've gone over my data plan. How? Jessie set me up on an unlimited plan, right? Wrong. I was still on the original 9 GB plan with the 3 lines and as I already knew my kids were blowing up the data. I call customer service to see what's going on and find out that not only did my plan not change, there's somehow a 4th line on my account too?!?!?!? Long story short, I made 4 calls to customer service trying to get my plan corrected and am paying way more than Jessie Cleaves initially quoted me. I agreed to disagree with the amount I'm paying with AT&T and decided to go to the store to inquire with Jessie about what he told me. As I explained to him what he told me, he interrupted me each time I tried to make a point to tell me, 'No, that's not what I said. I told you ____. We record all conversations.' He was defensive and dismissive of anything I was telling him. Jessie Cleaves, I had one conversation with you. You've had hundreds of customers with hundreds of different conversations. How can you remember what specifically you told me? Especially when it wasn't the truth? I didn't make a scene and only asked to speak to the store manager, which I'm waiting on now. He tried to explain himself further after I asked to speak to the manager, but I refused to speak to him after he dismissed me initially. I'm not leaving AT&T, I've been with them since the cellular one days, but this lying for commission has to stop. I wouldn't have walked away from the sale if he gave me the true price. I needed the lines for my kids. Just wish I was told the truth. Beware of working with Jessie Cleaves. Hope he sees this and changes how he deals with customers. EDIT: I was told by Jessie that the store manager was in interviews and I would be seen within an hour. An hour and 15 minutes passed (all while Jessie was in the store) and I asked another associate where the manager was as I've been waiting over an hour. He replied that the manager left, he was the short guy who walked out the store a few minutes ago. So unbeknownst to me, the manager walked right out of the store while I'm sitting down and Jessie didn't say a word as he walked out. I turned as asked Jessie why he let the manager leave without addressing me. His response? 'I told him twice. It's not my fault he left.' I could've made a scene, but I kept my cool. I've since sent a corporate complaint on Jessie and am awaiting a response. read more

It took nearly an HOUR before we were serviced, even though we were just second in line on the walk-in list. Once we actually sat down, the process took less than 5 minutes. I didn't really want a 12 but that was too good of s price to pass up. Turns out I have the wrong plan to get the promotion but on my three previous visits to correct my bill no one ever said that. If you love great customer service...this is NOT the place for you! This place is great for wasting your time when you have no plans at all that day with the extreme waiting period they offer you. Though they have 4 sales rep in the store, they offer each individual who walks in an hour wait period before they approach you. How awesome is that!? They give you an hour to sit in their comfy sitting area and/or to look around the store. Even though you know what you want already, they will still give you an hour to think it over. What kind souls they are. Have plans for later that day? Be looking to push it back to a later time if you come to this AT&T. Want to be late to a date that you didn't want to go in the first place or late to work? This AT&T offers great services in making you late! So next time you are looking for an excuse to be late to something, come to this AT&T. They will grant your wish in making you late. The first time I went it was very crowed I waited 45 minutes because all the sales people were busy. Didn't feel great about the experience but I went back the next day and had a great experience with Chimar. He helped me get lower my payments on my current plans and I was able to get an Apple Watch with the savings. As the telecommunications companies merge and grow, they pursue increasing profits more and more vigorously. In order to increase their ROI, they have begun to discontinue service in low density rural areas. I live in Buckhead Ga. (the town not the suburb). The previous owner had AT&T internet service, as do many of my neighbors. They will not connect me saying they have "Capped" their capacity in this area. That means they will not increase capacity, nor will they allow me to share in the existing capacity even though the previous owner had the service. I have filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau, The Georgia Public Service Commission and the FCC. As of today, nothing has changed, Every time I file a complaint, the Carrier writes me a letter and basically says "Tough". I guess even though they are taking money from the government to improve service to rural areas, it actually results in decreasing service for us, larger salaries for their employees, and those of us living in the rural areas are just out of luck. I pay the taxes, and they (AT&T) enjoy both the larger salaries and the access to Telecommunications. Mr. Ducasse made AT&T appear to value their customers. Stopped by the Corporate AT&T Store location to get my AT&T phone unlocked because att.com/unlockdevice was inoperable for weeks. Mr. Ducasse called AT&T Headquarters, to no avail, yet he persisted until my phone was unlocked. He is the epitome of a company representative going above and beyond to assist a customer. The bureaucracy he faced was discouraging. I'm thankful he enjoyed solving problems. He made AT&T appear to actually care about the customer and not just the customer's money. I hate AT&T, but admire the professionalism of Mr. Ducasse. During this entire transaction - Mr. Ducasse remained positive and undeterred. I'm not given to exaggeration, so when I tell you he represented AT&T well - he represented AT&T better than they represented themselves. Corporate leadership should get out of their ivory tower and hit the street and observe how their Retail Sales Consultants are actually solving tough challenges despite the poor ineffective solutions offered by AT&T telephone customer representatives. read more

We went in to upgrade my kids phone. While the sales person was handling that the manager came over and started high pressure selling us direct tv and u verse. I told him we did not want it. He just kept on. He went back and told my wife that we would save $80 per month. He said nothing about the reduced services that went with this. He also told us that internet would be fiber ran all the way to our house. So we would have constant speed with no sharing of bandwidth. Not true. Technician told me they do not do that nearest fiber is a mile away. He convinced my wife when telling her that we could try it for 14 days and if we did not like it no penalty. So after a couple days we decided that we like charter better. Faster internet and tv us better also. I called to cancel. They cancelled the internet But want $480 in early termination fees for direct tv. Looks like I fell for a scam. ATT told me they would get a manager to review this and decide weather or not to waive he fee. This is complete fraud. I have had phones with them for years and now this is the way they treat me over a sub par company like direct tv. Stay away from this scam. I need a good lawyer. read more

If there was a lower rating I'd use it. I went in this store location to disconnect service for my father who was in intensive care and would no longer be living on his own so I needed to close/disconnect his DirectTV service. I brought my father's Power of Attorney along with my picture ID authorizing me to take care of his financial arrangements as per instructions I received from the DirectTV rep I spoke with earlier. This store manage at the Coillins Hill location went out of his way to be the most discourteous and RUDE person, he refused to close the account because I had the audacity to ask for my PoA back after he and his co-worker had the document for well over 5 minutes perusing it flipping from page to page, when all they needed to do was read the first page and last with his signature. Stay away from DirectTV and this store location. DirectTV should consider retraining or replacing the store manager at this location! read more
