When you do a transaction with this store you need to watch things extremely closely. They will add on the optional phone insurance and the Next Up Anytime without even asking your permission. This has happened to me twice on 2 separate phone lines.. That's an extra approximately $30 per line they are just throwing on without even asking. I would not recommend unless you want to be ripped off , it appears all they care about are their personal sales numbers. read more

I have bought a bunch of phones for the family, and this is by far the best store to go to. While out of the country last week, my phone was hacked and I could not use it at all. It actually required that I replace the SIM. Talking to AT&T Support was "okay" but they could only take the problem so far, I needed to visit a store. As always, I asked for James, he is by far the best thing AT&T has going for it. Always understands the situation, always willing to help out. Replaced my SIM card quickly, easily, no problems, and I was back in business. I bought a few phones over the holidays and he was great for selecting the right phone and plans for my family. As a new customer to AT&T, the following happened: The reps at the store got my last name wrong. Now my customers and friends see a wrong last name when I call! How in the hell do you get my last name wrong!! Next, didn't have any iPhones in stock! Pure comedy! Cell phone store...no cells phones! It's like going to the tire store and no tires! Starbucks...no coffee! Then, they starting billing me right away even though it took 10 days to have my phone shipped to me....10 days! I know this is more of an apple issue but 10 days!!! Lastly, bill was off by more than 80 dollars (not taking into consideration taxes, initial fees, etc) I mean how do you misquote that poorly! So here I am at the store again to get this all fixed because AT&T said in order to fix all of these mistakes we would have to go back to the store. Now...literally waiting for at least 50 minutes. The three customers in front of me did not get their problems resolved. At least 2 different parties have walked out. These guys have a very tough job and they are doing their best, but this has been a complete disaster. Wish we went to Verizon!! read more

Wow...AT&T is the biggest scammers ever. I just received my first bill and found out that their deal of trading in my iPhone 8 in for an 11 for a credit of 700 is now being broken up for 30 months and will take 2 to 3 months to credit. So my bill is currently 100 dollars MORE than it is supposed to be. I'm within my buyer's remorse so I can return the phone and get out of the contract, BUT AT&T CANNOT give me my phone back. So it takes 30 months to get the credit for my phone and if I return this phone, I cannot get my phone back. AT&T told me they had service in my town and my house does NOT get service. Worst cell phone carrier ever. read more

I am a new costumer, when I signed up I was told my bill would be $100 a month and I WOULD NOT be billed for the phone. My bill is $202 and month on the plan they sold plus payment for the phone. Awesome customer service from James!!! I made an appointment from my phone before they opened. Went in and was greeted and helped all within 14 minutes!!! Replaced my new screen protector (yes it's worth the money!) and I didn't like the case I bought so I exchanged it for a new one. James was so informative and letting me know if I ever have any other issues to come back. He turned my dreadful weekend to a great one knowing my new cellphone is back to brand new! read more

I have never received worse customer service. I went to this store twice in a week because I've basically lost cell service at my home over the last few months. First they tried to change my SIM card then they tried to reset my network settings. Neither of those things helped at all. They agreed that it made no sense that I didn't have service, but basically said they couldn't do anything more to fix it and offered zero solutions. When I called AT&T tech support (to cancel my service), they fixed the problem in less than five minutes by telling me about, and telling me how to activate, Wi-Fi calling. It's an extremely easy fix that nobody in the store even mentioned. My husband's phone was also having an issue with the charging port. They guy in the store confirmed the problem and said nothing could be done to fix it. Again, (on the same call) tech support explained that the problem could easily be fixed by a cell phone repair shop. And it was. Also, when we walked into the store nobody greeted or checked us in. This was especially frustrating as they tried to check others in before us, and we had a young toddler with us. read more

Zee was AMAZING! We had a very complicated billing problem that we weren't able to solve over the phone. We were very upset because we felt we were owed more money back than we were getting. Zee spent 2 1/2 hours talking to me, his manager, my husband over the phone, and multiple ATT people over the phone and got us the credit we deserved! He went above and beyond to make it happen. I will now only go to the store instead of calling ATT with any and all questions we may have. read more

Was clumsy and broke my phone screen - ordered a new iPhone Xs Max online and went to this store to pick it up. Jing was awesome! He not only helped me get a better deal than the online options, but helped me set up a new line and even kept the place open while my phone was getting set up. Great customer service! read more

TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT SERVICE! SENIORS BEWARE. Stopped in to upgrade my husbands flip phone on a quiet Wednesday morning. We've subscribed to ATT for over 22 years. Have to say, this store is the worst in service. Salesman did not know how to remove the battery cover. He was training a beautiful young lady named Maria who at least had a clue. No effort to make the sale. Asked about a phone features, he said he didn't know. Didn't make an attempt to find out. Asked about the price of a new phone model, he said he didn't know. Never made an attempt to get up off his FA and find out. Asked if I wanted to proceed with the upgrade. I looked him straight in the eye and said: Not with you!. Whoever hires the associates for this store needs serious help recruiting good people, and the employees need serious customer service training. We've been going to this store for years, and have had generally good experiences until the past year. Just a few examples: 1. We bought an international data plan for our trip to West Africa only to find out, once arriving there, that AT&T has no international data plan for that part of the world. In other words, the young man sold us a product they don't even have! I spent a good part of my vacation on the phone with AT&T customer service getting credits, etc. 2. Avoid the store on Saturdays and Sundays. It only took a couple of weekend visits to realize that the young associates are often hung over, and nearly useless on those days. We went in on a Sunday recently to purchase 2 iPhone 6s. The young man could hardly sit upright throughout our transactions. I told him he looked hung over and he denied it, but then continued to check his empty coffee cup every few seconds, through his bloodshot eyes, to see if it had magically filled itself up. 3. We recently went in to get a replacement glass screen protector, and the young lady helping us did not make eye contact, did not say thank you, and communicated very minimally. Very strange. She uttered grunts of uh-huh and ut-uh instead of "yes" or "no". Her entire body language was telling us she didn't want to be there or help us. She gave very little information, so I had to keep asking a lot of questions. Even my teenage daughter, who usually would not notice that, said something about it. Ya know, we are going in there to spend money and expensive items. Could you at least have the curiously to treat your customers with some respect? read more

I just went to the AT& T store in Leesburg next to Wegmans to replace my wife's older iPhone. What a rude and unprofessional staff. The assistant manager said our system is "down" so we can't tell you what it's worth for a trade-in. Then handed me off to a young lady (Sara) who before I could say a word walked across the store and wrote down the prices of New iPhones without even asking me what I was interested in. We I asked why should buy an iPhone from AT& T versus Apple she walked to the front door as to say you can leave NOW! We did, and I will never be back!!! read more

I would give them ZERO stars if possible. I have never seen such a poorly run business in my many years as a consumer. Managers acting like a hostess taking names and doing no work. Employees hiding in the back with a store full of customers. 6 people working and only two junior folks out front trying to help people. I took my business to Best Buy. They provided great service and knew their business. The District manager needs to fire these managers and retrain their employees. I watched at least 6 people walk out disgusted with the wait and service. That was 1 hour too long for them and I won't do business with AT&T. OMG. RUN to this AT&T store and ask for James whenever you have an issue with your iPhone or iPad! He's been doing this almost SIX YEARS, so what he doesn't know about his products and good customer service, won't fit in a thimble. He corrected an issue with my iPad (an old sessions-based account that suddenly wasn't cooperating) and got me onto a new (read: more data and CHEAPER) plan in ten minutes time (which gave me back my LTE connection that hadn't worked in days). He even apologized profusely for the fact that we had spent about 8 hours the day beforehand with the Apple store, the Reston AT&T store, and the AT&T tech chat line, trying to get things squared away...but didn't. (We had even purchased a brand new iPad, since everyone had agreed "it must be your iPad," only to now find out that it was the AT&T account which got knobbed up and wasn't giving me my cellular service at all. It is nice to come into a store where you are greeted with a smile and eye contact; especially at the end of the day when a retail/service center is about 45 minutes away from closing. I was greeted by a young man named Nate Lee and within minutes he had me forgetting how busy of a day I had and without feeling rushed he took care of starting up my new Samsung Edge, making sure to point out some really cool new features. I also needed them to switch service to another phone, and again graciously without wasting time handled that as well. Then about 20 minutes into the transaction, the store began to get a little busier and his manager (a lady's name I forget) came out to support her team. It is nice to hear a manager be so praising of her team and so praising of the company she works for, definitely a refreshing change. read more

Visited this store to review options for a new phone while still under contract. I made an appointment and via the appointment calendar and noticed they were wide open for a visit in the middle of the week. When I arrived I was promptly greeted and noticed no other customers in the store yet 3-4 associates chatting. I'm on my second phone within the first year under warranty so I was unhappy with my choice, with yet more problems, and just I wanted to purchase a new different model phone but use my existing plan. Given I was going on extensive travel within a week going into the store was my best option prior to leaving. As soon as the first associated recognized I would have to purchase a new phone, while under warranty, he told me I would need to call customer service instead. I told him I made an appointment to review my options and see other phones. He laughed at me and told another staff member to help me. Again, I was told to call customer service and my phone was under warranty These guys had NOTHING TO DO! Could it have hurt them to call CS for me while there so I could see my options? I was prepared to pay for another phone but they were so eager to get rid of me and risk any chance of working it was unreal. I left dumb founded that a reputable company like AT&T would employ such lazy, rude staff. BTW - I did call customer service and they were, as always. helpful. Bottom line...sadly...I still need to go to the store to get a new phone short term. Crazy. Unhelpful. Stuck. Sad. read more

Despite being reasonably busy (it was Dec. 23rd) an associate immediately walked over and asked if I needed help, which I did. I can't remember her name (sorry!) but she knew exactly how to help me and within 10 minutes I was out the door with a new phone for my daughter.
