We came to the store to update our phones. Andy helped us but at the same time he has to help his ither co-worker who was trying to help another customer. Andy was very apologetic to us but we do understand because that customer was already there when we arrived. Andy showed us the different iphone 14. We opted for the pro. Turned out he has to order it. He said by Monday we should have it. Bring it to the store and he would transfer my data from the old phone. The phone arrived Friday, and we went back to the store and he recognized us right away and transferred the data. Everything works in the new phone. The people who work in that store are all friendly. We noticed that with the other customers too. I would surely recommend that store to all my friends. Keep up your good work guys. read more

I went to this store to upgrade my daughters phone. Andy in the store was great. We got home and the phone kept overheating. We went back to the Lompoc store (the next day) to get it replaced and we were told they did not have any in stock and one would be mailed to us. It never came so we called and the person who answered told us we couldn't have had one sent to us, it doesn't work that way. We were told to go back to the store the next day when the manager was in. We went back to Lompoc, manager told us we couldn't return it to ATT and it that it was an Apple problem and that we had to go to Apple. Made an appointment at Apple, Apple tells us it has to be replaced by Att. So we went to ATT in Santa Barbara, they were amazing, but said the ATT in Lompoc is a third party store and that it has to be returned to them and that they are required replace it. If we had bought it at a real corporate Att store we could have replaced it at any Corporate Att store. We live in Santa Ynez. After days, many miles traveled, our time, the fuel, and we still don't have a phone that works. This att store is not corporate, it is third party owned. The manager is horrible. DO NOT GET YOUR PHONE THROUGH THIS STORE!! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF! read more

Not only is AT&T forcing dangerous 5G down our throats, they are turning off our non5G phones without our consents. "Ezy" was the only worker at the AT&T store, which opened at 11 am except that Ezy took another hour and 20 minutes off, locking the front door. He didn't even return as indicated in his note. In fact, he was inside the store in the side room. Ezy was worthless, uninformed, unhelpful and mean-spirited. Since AT&T illegally turned off my phone, he refused to allow me to phone AT&T from the store. AT&T owns its customers, even those of us who have been AT&T customers for more than 50 years. The most redic service I have ever dealt with! No internet, rarely answer the phone, can't print invoices, cant hear me when I call on the phone they sold me when they actually answer. They rarely follow through on things they promise to do. It is unbelievable. It is the only authorized AT&T store in town so...The hours on the door and website are different than the reality. I have worked retail for several years off and on and its not that challenging to be on point for the people that keep a location open. If phones weren't a necessity, this place would close. Went in and waited for 20 minutes when I was the third person in the store. I bought my phone 2 months ago here and it stopped working randomly due to a warrantied manufacturing problem. I went in to see what my options were and the guy told me I had to upgrade or I was out of luck. I called the AT&T phone number and got it taken care of but the Lompoc store had me close to canceling my service. They were extremely rude and definitely predatory sales techniques. I get that they work on commission but if someone buys something from you, you should at least cover the minimum standard of customer service and maybe point the customer in the right direction instead of trying to get a sale at all cost. read more

Diana (or Diane) and AJ were both very helpful and knowledgable about assisting me with my iPhone needs as well as other questions I had about my account. She knew the answers to my questions before I even asked. She went up, over and beyond to help me. I have only had that kind of service at Nordstroms!! Great experience. Regarding other, miffed reviews - our issues, like so many others were difficult, but the staff wasn't, they were working continuously and knowledgeably and not one minute of the long time it took to handle all our items was wasted - nor were they impolite to other customers....multi-tasking pleasantly. we got two lines ported over from Sprint to AT&T (not as simple as it sounds) confirmed a direct Tv cancellation from another source, new direct tv set up. Made sure we got the specials and discounts we were entitled to. At every juncture they confirmed and made sure there wouldn't be mistakes further down the line. BEST PHONE BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER! I kid you not. We are a family of 4 and have purchased multiple phones multiple times. You know what it's like going in to buy a phone. Sheer agony. Not here. We were so amazed at how knowledgeable, professional and friendly both Dayana and Diane were. They worked with us to get exactly what we wanted, offered some extras but didn't push us if we weren't interested, explained options well, made sure we had all the details and choices. I mean, seriously, these two women were the best. Go buy your phone here. You will not regret it. Oh, also, they told us about how we can get DirectTV and bundle it with our wireless account and get unlimited data and save $150/month. I'm gonna talk to my DH about it but think we will do that. Hey, who doesn't want to get rid of comcast? But again, she mentioned it but didn't push. My son and I were just blown away at how good our experience was. Best ever, hands down. read more

I visited this store on a Thursday after going to the Santa Maria store. Noelani was more than happy to help me find what I needed. I was looking into doing an upgrade and adding a line to my account. She ran the numbers and then double checked to make sure that there were no surprises, and then informed me of my options and what each option would mean. She did this while also helping the other customers who came in to pay their bills and occasionally someone interested in purchasing. She was super helpful and I would refer ANYONE to her for help with new service, upgrades or just getting info. read more

This store is the epitome of bad management and efficiency. My wife and I went in on our lunch to simply get a sim card and only had 2 people in front of us. When we walked in we were told it would be a short wait. Literally 40 minutes later and we are still waiting. I understand it takes a while to set up phones but there is such a way to do more then one thing at once. We were never asked what we needed which is insane to think from a manager standpoint. If a customer comes in with a easy task it would make sense to work them in while activating phones instead of just having them sit there for 40 minutes. On top of that you have representatives who are disconnected from customers and come off as rude and cold. I do not recommend going to this AT&T ever if you do not need to. Just drive the extra to Santa Maria it will likely take you less time in the long run. read more

Just went in to return an otter box case for a 5s phone i bought in December. Only bought the case because the store told me life pro did not make a case for a 5s, which i found out was not true. They told me today that i couldn't return the phone because it was past the Dec 20 return date. I explained it was bought as a X-mas gift and wouldn't even be opened until the 25th of December and the store knew that when I bought it because I bought the new 5s that day, made an upgrade on my plan, etc. and told them it was for my son as an x-mas gift. After being rude and not caring a bit about customer service they told me no return, exchange, or credit. I was out of luck and it was my problem. Alexia was the girl at the counter and her manager, a heavy set Caucasion female, were both rude and didn't have the first clue about customer service. I will now let everyone I know to avoid the Lompoc AT&T store if at all possible. read more
