Went in to set up an appointment to install a system. A guy went to see what I wanted installed and gave me a quote. I was told that they were busy working on government vehicles so I would need to wait at least a week. When asked what day I wanted to set up the appointment, I had to think about it because I had a day in mind that didn't work with his schedule. When I had to think about it, he got really annoyed. That was enough for me to walk out, which was fine because I walked into a better place that was able to tend to me the same day. These guys simply transformed my audio system on my 2019 Camry XSE. Roger is a master technician and was able to make my flimsy sounding Car stereo into a rumbling hip-hop, Regeton banger! He swapped my factory speakers and subs for amazing sounding quality Speakers at a fraction of what others charge and in just a couple hours wait. They are definitely xtream in both quality and costs. I am so happy at the difference in sound. Unfortunately I am no longer in Santa Maria. I went down to extreme Electronics and wanted to put a new stereo system in my Harley-Davidson Street Glide when the salesman show me the things that he knew I would like I went ahead and purchased them and have them do the installation after the starter button fried on my bike I took it to a buddy to have him fix it and he found out that the power cord from the stereo or whatever was hooked into my starter switch which in turn fried it. Then we started digging in more do the installation and found exposed wiring speaker brackets that we're not hooked up correctly. I purchased a 800 watt 4-channel amplifier which was to go underneath my fairing well what we discovered was there was only a 50 watt 2 Channel amplifier in there but I was charged for an 800 watt. And the dash kit that was supposed to be in the fairing of my Harley was only a flat piece of plastic with a hole cut in it and hot glued to the back of my fairing. Overall I was completely disgusted with the installation and when I called them and talk to them they proceeded to blame it on somebody else. When the owner of extreme Electronics called my phone and my wife answered it he proceeded to chew her out. And I also had according to him the top of the line Viper alarm installed in my Jeep which now turns out not to be vipers top of the line alarm I was charged almost $600 for the remote start alarm the guy that's working on my bike right now look it up online and it's only $260 for the alarm. So my recommendation would be to never go to extreme electronics for anything. They will talk a good Gap in your ear but the quality of work that comes out of that place is crap. read more

I rarely ever leave reviews, mostly on the account of being too lazy! But time and time again, Roger at Xtreme electronics goes out of his way to take care of me with my stereo needs. I have gladly referred several friends and family members to him and their response is always the same: "Thanks for sending me, he's awesome!" Roger took time out of his day to drive 90 minutes to the lake to fix my boat stereo. As for price, you will not find a better price on equipment or a complete stereo package. I was flabbergasted by the amazing selection! Second to none!!! I think even Best Buy may be envious...the staff is knowledgeable and they provide warranty on everything they sell. Their installations are very professional and their custom work is not only of excellent quality but very affordable. I had a full stereo system installed with TVs on every seat for my kids on my brand new Lincoln SUV. I was nervous about having anybody work on my car but saw the work Roger had done on my friend's classic mustang and I thought "if he trusts him he must be good"! .... looking for professional custom stereo installation in Santa Maria? Look no further cuz this is the right place! I had a new set of component speakers installed in my Toyota Yaris.. I told Roger(the owner) where I wanted the tweets and they came out perfect! Each door is perfectly identical and looks and sounds great!. A very good quality and professional clean job! I also had new double din Kenwood deck put in and that came out perfect. Xtreme Electronics took the time to customize how far the deck needed to come out to make it perfectly flush in the dash for another quality custom install that also came out perfect as if it were factory installed and came with the car. Roger made custom subwoofer box for me that fit perfectly inside the spare tire and was hidden under the trunk floor panel. Roger even customized the trunk panel so that the subwoofer could breath properly and I had the upholstery/cloth material shop across the street customize the carpet over the panel for the sub woofer as well. The install came out beautiful! A single amp was installed and nicely hidden under the passenger seat for a clean factory look. I have received many compliments on Xtreme Electronics hard work. I live in the bay area and I have brought my car to other car stereo install places and they have commented on how nice this install came out and commended Roger on the great professional custom work he did for my car. I will continue to do business only through extreme electronics for all my car audio needs because I know there isn't another car audio install place out there even in my area that can compete with the quality and custom abilities and for the price that Xtreme electronics has to offer its customers. I will drive 3 or 4 hours out of my area to do business here.
